Mid Staffordshire NHS Foundation Trust Review

Some staff on Chebsey ward are rude and honestly completely oblivious to patients needs but there is some decent staff there my experience was appalling. But I could praise the number of staff that were willing to listen and talk to me despite my struggles. The staff in 136 suite are excellent and I can see they do genuinely care. I do think some staff have a lack of understanding with certain patients which puts us in a tricky situation with trying to trust the staff. All in all the hospital it's self is daunting but patients are there to get help not a luxury holiday

Unfortunately I was going to take my life but police and ambulance took me here. The staff are fantastic and I was made to feel welcome and comfortable. Thank you so much for the other day. Steven x

The community mental health team, lie, trick and mislead . Beware!

Go to harplands hospital. Highly reccomend. My loved one on chebsey ward saying please come and see me. She was very upset at the staff saying no . No wonder she was so upset. Not been allowed any access to nearest relative. I am glad finally got them out of there. The staff on chebsey told managers I was agressive and intimidating on saturday 5th august 2017 and refused to leave the ward. . I was in hospital but it was stoke hospital having a scan on my lungs done. I have numerous lumps on them and didnt want a biopsy. So chebsey ward why did you put what you did?

easy access parking, friendly and very helpful staff

Staff will patronise you and ignore any input you have, happy to leave you without therapy and medication for months on end. Disgusting service.

Best place I could have gone to ive been all over Staffordshire and this place is the best especially the staff on Brocton and Chebsey wards kind caring hilarious and patient

My relative went in as a voluntary patient in March. By the end of the week they had them on a section 3 was giving them olanzapine injections. I told them the drug had been used in the past and didn't suit. Relative became really unwell was not taken care of sent to a godawful place came back months later. I went to visit and they had had a meeting and put a safeguarding thing in place on me. I am a woman in a wheelchair who has complained constantly about how my relative had been treated. This place could not organize a pissup in a brewery oh hang on the place is one big boozefest

Fantastic support from the eating disorders team. Probably saved my life.

Unimaginably rude switchboard staff who should not work for a mental health service with their poor attitude and lack of concern.

I live at the hospital it OK staff OK patients could be better also thanks for helping me. Daniel thank u Ellesmere team are OK and other staff are to sometimes. Short staffed which is not good.

Terrible staff and terrible care for patients, Now on my 4th week without Ritalin due to there mistakes and them refusing to accept any responsibility each prescription being wrong and requiring me to go back to get it replaced multiple times, refusing to send it me via the post after the first time they did it because they once again messed up the prescription would not recommend going here if you're in need of your meds at a fast rate.
