Made several attempts to contact this agency for senior home repairs and there was no return calls from MORPC.
Absolutely horrible experience. Kip Mattson &tracey Goebel had signed a contract on February 2 2018 with Diamond builders and myself to fix my box gutters. They said the objective of the program was to make the Near East side pretty . The amount of the contract was 13k. I was called on the 30th of March by Kip him stating that they were canceling the contract with Diamond and had found a new contractor for 6.5k. Also apologizing for the runaround. I was asked to sign the contract at 9 am on the 17th of April I was ok with that. Called back than said 11am. Ok also until I had to go to work and had to cancel. Than I was told that the contractor had a standing 9am every Monday. I was left with the option of signing the contract with Tracey and Kip at 9 am April 30th. Really! With out even meeting a contractor? How very very insulting. Kip left a cancelled contract in my mailbox not even in a envelope with a stamp. I do believe this is federally illegal. These people can allocate funds. Oh to top it off my three African American neighbors homes are Completed. Oh well I guess poor white people dont matter.
