We been dealing with this company for a number of years plus was paying them every month on time...But when our Mobile home burned down they been giving us the run around talking about they need this they need that..we been giving them everything that they asking and wanting and still haven't received our money yet...So I advise NO one I mean No one not to get insurance with this Company
I almost never do reviews, but the reviews on this company made me nervous when I had to file a claim for busted pipes due to a freeze. My desk adjuster was Jamie Sharkey and she was wonderful and very helpful. As soon as they had all the paper work from the restoration team and the contractor they cut checks for damages immediately. I wanted to leave a 5 star review because I had a good experience with them with the entire process! Thanks again Jamie!!
The shingle roof to our 2002 built manufactured home was the original roof. Back in 2016, due to a major storm, some of the shingles lifted and we had a small leak in our kitchen. After an adjusters inspection, this company had the audacity to pay us $500 to fix the one area of the roof. This company needs to be shut down for non-payment of claims. As of today, 3/2021, we received a letter of non-renewal.
I would not suggest getting Insurance with these people if you own your own Home! if bank owned, they have to be fair. but if not, they will take advantage of you! they WILL weasel out of ANY claim they possibly can! wish I would have read the reviews before giving them one dime of my money 9 years ago till today!
Absolutely horrible company! They dropped my homeowners insurance over a claim that I made in December 2019 that I was not even paid out for and was denied! I had a policy with them for over 20 years and never made a claim and the first time I do I m dropped! American reliable is not reliable at all!
My father had American Unreliable insurance. Not sure why his agent stuck him in this company. Needless to say I m switching him to something more reliable. If I had known he was with them and how bad they are it would have happened a lot earlier.
So far this place is a joke. They dont honor what your policy states you will recieve. They took almost half of our personal belongings claim for depriciation. It has been almost 5 months since the claim was open and it is just now begining to be paid. Just not to the fullest extent of the policy. Do not use this company.
My boat trailer tire was torn off on boat ramp. Bent axel, brake assembly, fender, and lost wheel in the water. Claim denied due to lack of mantainance. Just had $600 worth of preventive work done. I'm so glad this company baled out of Florida before I had something serious happened to my boat and trailer. I don't recommend this company for insurance.
take your money but don't pay bought a appliance policy thru the adams agency thought i was covered my air conditioning went out denied my claim the policy isn't worth the paper its written on

Update!!!!Eric the company supervisor has helped his clients more than expected. Because of the call volume it might take a little longer than expected, but I promise you your covered if Eric the companies supervisor has anything to do with it.
