This company is THE WORST COMPANY IN THE WORLD, to do ANY KIND OF BUSINESS WITH!!! I didn t know that the dealership sent my loan to them. And if your in Flatrock, MI DO NOT BUY YOUR CAR FROM RITE ON AUTO!!! The customer service representatives are VERY RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL!!! I wanted to transfer my loan to a credit union, and this SORRY EXCUSE FOR A COMPANY REFUSED to release it. Now, I might have to take them to court to get my car title. Yes, my car is paid off...

Please beware of these no good people! If I could give a negative 5 stars I would however, these people should not be in business. I'm trying to get another car that I was approved for through another company and I need a letter stating that I am no longer have the car. They refuse to send me an email they want to send a certified letter through the mail instead. Not only did they take the car but when I was trying to get it back I couldn't get a hold of someone because I was placed on hold for God knows how long. You send them an email for them to call you and they don't answer. I'm burnt out with these ppl. Not only did they take my car but now I can't drive my new car off the lot without that letter. I'm so pissed off! All I can say is ran far away from this company!

They will send me a release and a lien release so I can go get it myself! Rude. Lied. Was hung up on 5 times. Never Never have ANYTHING to do with this"company" again!

Hello, I never give my opinion but this time I have to do it so that you know my experience. My experience was horrible since even if you have the Cta a day they call you (12 TIMES AND they are registered on the cell phone) it is to remind you of the payment even if it was up to date or Be without delays. They speak to you in a strong not friendly tone. On one occasion I was late (1 time) and I asked to speak to the supervisor (manager) and they did not want to pass it on to me, I asked for the last name of the person in charge of the CTA and he did not want to give it to me. Orient me legally and they told me that they cannot be calling as much and less when the CTA is up to date. Do not do business with them. They do not help when an emergency happens which can happen to anyone. The deal is bad for the clients. I am a serious man and the manager of my Cta treated me like a trickster babbler. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. THEY ARE NOT PROFETIONAL.

A fraudulent company in every way. Nope I don t have a car with them, I simply had someone steal my identity and that how I got to work with these people. Oops people is too much of a positive review for them. Ok well down to the down, I had to get a lawyer who investigated them. They called me fraudulent, how am I fraudulent when I never worked with you? Exactly. So I get the notes from the investigator and this place isn t even in compliance with the state and has fallen behind on their IRS taxes. Be carful people, any business that isn t in compliance and falls behind on taxes are all red flags.

This place is so unorganized and they talk to you any kind of way they have no QA experience for sure. Communication sucks they all tell you different stories. If you just google the reviews employees write about working at This place you may wake up even their employees admit management is awful here and they clearly do not know what they are doing. Their employees screw up and guess what the person fianacing is the one paying for that employees error. No matter what proof you have goes straight out the window. Employees should be better trained but just like the reviews show the employees are over worked so of course we pay for the errors. Garbage company you all have to get your stories together for sure. Don t bother getting a deferred payment from these people they later lie kept offering it to us and when we took it they called the following month harrassing for payments everyday and said that we never got a deferred payment even though we had proof and paid the interest in order to get one. Stupid idiots working here for sure.

Called back several times today and it still haven t been sent out even after I gave them my FedEx account number to overnight it! I will never recommend them to anyone, very unprofessional people.

People see a bad review and fail to realize that 99.9% of the time it's from someone who didn't pay their car pmts and we had to repossess the car. We buy $11 million dollars in paper every single month! We are one of the best in the industry! We take pride in that and I'm proud to work here!

Now the car is still down , trying to give back and the dealer ship closed and mid altanic refuse the car telling me I can't give back the car and they want me to still make to payments . they suck!! i got a car from a buy here pay here and the owner sold the dealer! i have the first 2 payment missing wich i believe the dealer stole from me and now nobody wants to be responsable for those 2 payment! so am behind with the payments and they been playing with me like a ping pong ball and nobody freaking help me!! costumer service is trained to avoid people and just ask for the money instead of help you!! shut down that miserable finance scam!!

This company is the worst finance company!!!! Buyer beware!!!! I am stuck with a mechanically unsound vehicle that, they know is broke down and was sold and has been that way. They refuse to come pick it up. They are choosing to write if off my credit as a charge because the repairs are worth more than the vehicle to fix, so instead of accepting responsibility for a vehicle they entered into contract with me on they are sticking me with it and trying to make me pay for it!!! They refuse to hand over the title so I can have the vehicle junked!!!!! Beware of this company!!!! Do not sell your name, it's a big problem!!!!!

They where very nice and easy to work with, and when I was having issues with my car they worked with me on my payments. If I knew I was going to be late, (even though it was only like a week). I would call them and let them know. You just have to stay in contact with them.

If I could give this company negative stars I WOULD! First I paid off my auto loan with this company in full. I got in a car accident a few weeks ago and the car was totaled. All the insurance company needs from them is a copy of my title and a lien release form so that they can pay my settlement to replace my car. Guess what? this company will not send it to them even though the auto loan has BEEN paid in full. They keep saying we dont have an update yet. It has been 2 weeks and still nothing. THE MOST HORRIBLE COMPANY EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Company refused to obey California Law of two party consent to record telephone calls,and are very rude when I say I don't consent to call being recorded. When asked why are you calling me they refuse to provide information. All of my payments are current and I have never been late. They do not have the authority to be disrespectful to customers. I'm going to miss my dear hearts. I finally paid off my car without one 30 day late in 3 yrs. I went in personally and picked up my title, and the most professionalism yet was given to me that day. I did not wait and the atmosphere was amazing. The young woman at the front desk was so prompt and comforting. I love courteous people...they worked with me in any way I needed over the time of our relationship and if I could go through them again I would. Best Finance company!!

Company is a complete joke. Went to a buy here pay here place and they unfortunately sent them (mid atlantic) my contract and title. So after trying to deal with workers you can not understand and that lack basic social skills I honestly give up. I literally decide to pay off my entire loan to get away from this company. The only time they receive business is when loan contracts like mine get sent to them without the customers knowledge or consent. I wasn't behind on payments but my contract and title just got sent over anyway. So now I decide to pay my loan off like a year early and guess what it takes a month for them to release the title to you if you pay by debit card. I'm talking about paid in full too. So I talk to a supervisor (pretty much as dumb as the first agent) who then says well if you pay buy money gram it only takes 15 business days (for those who do not know thats 3 weeks so much better than a month) to get my title. So now I can not trade my car in or sell it due to this policy. So I said isn't that like buying groceries and the cashier saying pick them up next week. This will be a company that will eventually go under and close it doors, just have to wait s*** businesses like this out for another year or two. Just going to contact BBB tomorrow and let them add a file to the probably thousands for this company.

Let me start off by saying that after paying my vehicle off 100% and giving my address numerous times to validate my account for some unknown reason my title is mailed to the wrong address then on top of this I speak with a couple different people trying to get another title with no such luck. Then I am told that I have to go to the DMV and pay for another title really? Worst customer service I have ever encountered and can say that I am contacting the better business bureau along with some other folks to try and figure out what steps I can take to rectify this issue. You would think after all the finance charges you paid they would try to atleast take care of something so trivial that they screwed up. DO NOT DO MAKE THE MISTAKE I DID!

Hey name is trina...i purchase a car though automate in February 2015...only had the car for 5mos with then them month..i had a oil leak..in side oil cover gasket belt that control everything on this 2007 Benz was split in have...deal ship at automate name juan told me take the car to his mechanical to have it fix..when i took the car there his mechanical told me that only that car have a oil leak...that cover gaskets need be replaced ..after i paid for the car get fix...next day i took the car back to the mechanical shop..the car keep cut off make loud noise...eddie took the car to his friend shop to put the car on his machine to see why the car is make this loud noise...when mr Anthony's put on his machine...he got this crazy code he never seen...so he took the car of part to check whats the problem..he call me the next day..Said the timie belt need be replaced that would run me round 1300...also the motor is get ready go out...to replace the motor on this Benz for a use I'm look paid 2700 between 3,000...so i call juan back and told.him the motor and timie belt need be replaced..in june July he sold me over to Atlantic mid fincu department...i call them to let them no i dont have this car anymore this car been broke since April..the car been at this mechanical shop for..3month...i stop make payment on this car back in July..until i spoke with somebody in at this office...they give me the run round..they are nasty..they nasty behind put this car loan on my credit...but I'm going fight them with all my might..until i win ill see yall guys in court

Don't ever go through this company. If you go to a lot to buy a car make the sure they promise to never sell your loan to this place or don't buy a car there. This company is so incompetent. They stalk and harass you even if you pay on time. When i moved they kept calling saying i needed to verify my address but they always had my old address after i had given them my new address and phone number like 20 times. I was like you don't have my new address but you have my new number when i gave both on the same day. This happens when you get a new account manager which happens often. The new manager needs the new info so they say. I have given them a good time to call me because of my work schedule but they call at the wrong time and will continue to call until i answer. I get paid on Friday so they always start calling me on monday asking for money every day until you get paid. I could go on. Never use this company.

When I called in to find out why I get placed on hold for 40 mins. and when someone finally answered I just get a rude response and placed back on hold. I never consented to my contract being bought out by them and wish it could ve been bought by literally anyone else.

UPDATE: I got a "repo" notice in the mail today. We have made all our payments, 75$ a week which is more than the actual payment. I will be contacting Consumer FRAUD. I have already contacted a lawyer.

I bought a car from affiliated auto sales here in Waco TX. LENNY THE GUY FROM THE DEALERSHIP IS WONDERFUL! This is my second car from him. Well, he sold my car note to this POS company. I got ONE MONTH behind, and I notified them that I was living in a motel, and we had limited income. We got paid once a week, and we will pay them 75$ A WEEK. My normal payment is 237$ but thats 300$ a month. 63$ extra to get caught up on the month that I got behind. They have done nothing but HARASS ME AND LENNY! They are trying to force Lenny to buy the note back, which he will have to repo it if he ends up buying it back. But they say they recieve payments, then will call saying they havent received it. When you ask to speak with a supervisor they are as dumb as a doornail, and as useless. The supervisor told me "thats fine, 75$ a week, then that should get you caught up". Called today, the guy said "its noted here, but your under contract to make one payment a month of 237$ which you're not doing". There is no such thing as communication in the system or office. They are scammers just to get your money. Then they get mad at you if you have sent a money order in and its not there the next day. If your even one day late they charge you 11$ as a late fee. Its a 6$ charge to pay from your bank account. There is no such thing as debit or credit cards here.
SCAMMERS! When Im done paying this car off, I will go through all my stuff to see where they charged me extra, because I will be suing for FRAUD! Yall will be closed down, and I hope all the NASTY employees up there never find a decent job again. I did call center work for a year a NEVER TALKED TO SOMEONE THE WAY THEY SPEAK TO ME! STAY FAR AWAY!

If I could give a 0 review I would, this place has some of the rudest people I ve ever came in contact with, on today 11/30/19 I was called by a young lady in which I immediately told her I paid my payment the day before and she said in a harsh way like ok thank you click, she hung up in my face! Very unprofessional people! However one young woman named Jeanette at ext 441 has a great attitude and shows me a lot of respect, she deserves a promotion for her hard work!

They deferred a payment for one month and refuses to offer any additional assistance. They do not care about their customers even during a pandemic which I find completely ridiculous and disappointing . Will be refinancing ASAP!

If I could give this company a zero rating I would I have never been more than a couple of days beyond my due date but they call and harass you the day after also I had filled out the paperwork and then spoke with Leslie who was very kind about deferring my payment for November got her the paperwork she sent me an email back telling me I was all set and then I keep getting phone calls telling you that my account is past due they tell me that the person that I sent my paperwork to doesn't work there anymore and it never got sent to the supervisor which is not true as I told them because I have the emails stating otherwise so now they're telling me that my account is 40 days past due they're telling me that the November deferment was not approved which in the emails that I have from them States otherwise I've asked them to help me out and work with me possibly defer my December payment I'm a customer who's in good standing I always pay my payment and they absolutely refuse to work with me even though the air is on their part they've been rude about it nobody has been helpful whatsoever and I would never recommend anybody

The day I paid my finally paid my car off was a glorious day, but mainly because I knew I would never have to call this company ever again. Very, very seldomly did I get to talk to a nice person. I've been hung up on more times than I can count, when all I was trying to do was give them the information that I needed to to make my payments. If I wasn't hung up on, the people were incredibly rude. Also, please not that this company does NOT submit any information to the credit bureau. I paid $450 a month for years and for NOTHING. I still had NO credit.

They will call and harass you if there is a holiday which prevents them from opening their own mail in a timely manner regardless if the payment was delivered on time via bank bill pay days before. Every rep that I have spoke to on the phone has an attitude problem and completely unprofessional. If this company is presented as your only option for financing do yourself a favor and do not move forward!

If you notice only employees or former employees are posting 5 stars. This company is a RIP off. I did not give consent for my contract to be sold to them nor was I aware until my last call with them that there is a GPS device on my car which is illegal without consent. They hang up on you, always a Spanish agent answers and last time I complained about the attitude l was getting they said we are not customer service we are debt collectors??? Which they feel gives them a right to talk crazy to you. I ended up asking for an American representative to take over the call and there was no response like "I am American" I was just transferred to a nice black dude that talked to me with respect. So I believe the other comment that illegals work there. Look at their locations Texas and Florida. Ask for an American you will get better service and no attitude.

They deal with credit challenged and small mom and pop shops but end up treating all customers the same... like they are nothing. They like to dictate how you use their service by requiring you to have full coverage for a 2004 vehicle with 22 k mile?! I would NEVER use these guys again and I would encourage you to not use them either. My next step is to report them to the BBB.

Companies like y'all like to take every dime that we have ever worked for and don't mind taking away from the families we have to provide for. I am livid at the way my previous financer handled our account and saddened at the way your company continues to handle it. Since being switched to y'alls finance company WITHOUT OUR KNOWLEDGE we're constantly getting phone calls, messages, emails... its tiring! We literally give you everything we make and you want more. This company is a scam. If you make your payment on the day before it is due or the day it is due you will receive a phone call the following day asking about your payment as it hasn't shown in their system yet.

Payments made to them are reported to the credit bureau as a decreasing line of credit instead of a car loan being paid on time, hurting your credit rating

When you do pay off your car loan with them, they reported as a closed line of credit rather than a car loan being successfully paid off, also hurting your credit rating.

They came and got the car and said I still owe them the original balance (from day one) and also told the car lot I m trying to buy from now they don t know what happened to the car. I'm sure this'll be one of the highest rated reviews they've had in a while lol.

Got my car in March of 2016 through a Tampa dealership and was told Mid Atlantic would be handling my financing. I was IMMEDIATELY worried after I read the reviews and almost traded in my car out of fright at one point but stuck it out.

Paid on time every month via the website (I was so damn happy when the website was updated, it's a lot better now), my credit was affected very positively and it's already been noted to the credit bureaus that my car is paid off and the account is closed, got my title today after paying off my car last month over the phone.

*The only downside that I remember is the hold times on the customer service line when I used to call but when I called last month to pay off my car, somebody answered the phone rather quickly so, idk. Lol

They think the bodies being recovered from Hurricane Michael is a joke! Anyone is welcome to email me for a copy of the recorded call bc I record all calls device they keep calling. The representative laughed about the hurricane damage, deaths, and the amount of people living in tents still at 37 days later, TWICE he laughed out loud.
They admitting to breaking state statues as well on a recorded line, and then tried to cover it up when I advised I'd send a copy of it in to educate them.

Luckily, we have an attorney on retainer who will be doing all communication from this point on and making the payments. legally I was eligible to block their number....because they are calling a business phone leaving detailed messages, also illegal in the state of Florida.

Then the supervisor hung up because I cussed, who wouldn't with this POS company....when they think losing someone is a laughing matter.

The representative even got "his feelings hurt" bc I said hold on and laid the phone down while my nurse came in because they harassed on the same day I gave birth.

Thank God for state statues for scam fraudulent companies like this.

Absolutely ridiculous customer service I've worked customer service for 8+ years and never have treated anyone how I was treated. I asked one simple question and was told "that's your problem not mine" excuse me ? What a horrible way to treat customers. Best part can't understand what any of them are saying most of the time.

they are ok, if you buy a lemon take it up with the dealer or the state. the finance company only cares about the payment, the one in Clearwater are ok, they have help with a extension before. I mean they can do what they can. Im not picking up for them I ma just saying what I experience.

Absolute scam. I've made every payment and watched my balance stay the same, to the cent, for months now. They won't provide any answers (or even basic information) about my account. They instead send you back around and around in a useless circle of non-answers and links to the website you started at. BBB needs to investigate these people ASAP.

I process loans and deal with a lot of subprime lenders. Mid Atlantic has been one of the worst I have ever dealt with. They re very unprofessional. I submitted a deal with them and they approved our customer but wanted a GPS installed in the vehicle. After the gps was installed, the car started to have electrical problems. I don t know why. Maybe it was the GPS itself or the way it was wired( which I doubt. This isn t our first time installing a gps in a vehicle) Our customer was from out of state so we had to make sure we had everything we needed before they drove off the lot with their car. We reviewed the buyers order multiple times, along with the rest of the paper work, signed everything as they instructed and overnighted the packet. Joshua Steiner, our assigned rep, said everything was ok and funding takes a few days to process. A week goes by and we didn t get funded. I contacted our rep and he told us we were missing a signature. Our fault, I understand but you d think we would get notified right away. I send the document signed and they told us to wait to get funded. Another week goes by and nothing. I contacted the rep and they said they need another signature and an interview with the customer. Also they told us the gps didn t have a signal. We had the customer come back to our lot to fix the gps and had her sign a few docs in case they would need more signatures. Our customer drives off and we re told we have to wait to get funded. Another week goes by and still nothing. I contacted the rep and he tells us the signatures are a copy and they rejected the document we sent. We went back and forth and they pretty much tells us that we re lying and we have to have our customer come back to sign everything again. How EMBARRASSING and UNPROFESSIONAL it is for us to call our customer back into our lot again. Our rep sends back the whole packet back and asks us to sign it. Then we have to wait for funding. Another week goes by and we re told that we now need to get another paystub from our customer and they need to conduct another interview because the application and paystubs are now more than 30 days old and the paystubs. Extremely unprofessional. The application and paystubs expired because of their lack of communication and they rejected an original Document. It s ok if we re missing signatures and so on, but we wouldn t have known unless I contacted them.
After conducting another interview with the customer, we re told that the customer doesn t want to move forward with the deal because the car had cut wires and it was vandalized. We weren t funded.
I contacted our customer to understand what was going on. Turns out the gps they wanted installed in the car was interfering with all signals and the car had stopped working. Everything was fine mechanically. But electrically, it wasn t.
The customer decided to return the car. We took the car back.
I feel like we lost money and our customer lost money as well. We signed the title over and had listed them as lien holder so we had to order a new title, our customer wasn t happy at all. We understand. I almost think if they didn t require a gps to be installed, the car would ve been fine.
We let her drive away with the car because THEY APPROVED her. She did everything we asked her to and was so patient with everything. I feel really bad that ultimately, she s the one that lost the most and it s not her fault.
This lender made us look SO unprofessional. We won t be doing business with them. They re Terrible!!

This company is the worst. I hate this company with a passion. I have like 4 mths left with these people. They tell you good news and say they can help and make everything all better. Bull. In two weeks after telling you all these wonderful things I get a call saying no we can't do that. We don't even have that in our notes. That's there favorite line to tell people by the way. "No notes, no notes, no notes" ugh. They have gotten my hope's up 5 times just to kill them 5 times. Maybe they get a little pleasure with lying to people and telling people one thing then changing it. Anybody know of a finance company that will buy my account from these people. I'll pay extra just to get away from them. Wish they never bought my account. The worst. Run away from this place.

My company has literally been misled by Mikela Hines of Mid Atlantic Finance Company for an entire month. We sent her 10 retail contracts with total payments of approximately $40,000.00 per contract. Now we have received an email from one of there company representatives Ramon Alverado stating they do not finance contracts over $10,000.00. This is very disappointing because I thought this company was great to do business with but apparently we were wrong.
