The food was really good, however the staff was really judgemental and "snooty," as my sister put it.

Excellent cooked ribery and the shrimp bisque was dressed for Valentine's Day.
Swing and a miss. No pun intended. Just here on business, but if I m being honest, the best thing about the meal was the fresh cracked pepper we received on our salads. Steak was over cooked and flavorless. The waiter and staff I must say was very polite and oh so friendly. Good people, good service, perhaps it was just an off night.
I had a wonderful meal and drinks with friends. The service and food were outstanding
I highly recommend this place
One of the better steak's I've ever had. Best place I ate at while in OKC.
Awsome food awsome service the steak was able to be cut with a fork .
We sat in the bar area, which made it a little difficult to hear the conversation, during the busy time. The food and service were excellent, and as the crowd thinned it was perfect.
Really good food from apps to main course. The triple play is amazing
Great stop in OKC! Caught the Dodges Triple A game right across the street and then had a great meal at Mickey's!! Steak was cooked perfectly, first class service by the bar staff !
This is one of my top rated steakhouses with that being said Saltgrass Steakhouse is one of my other top steakhouses Cattleman's is two and a half star to be honest Mickey Mantle's Steakhouse is not for children it is an upscale Steakhouse and it's meant to be as such I find when I go there I do not want to see children and if I had children I would not take them there there are many other restaurants that are kid-friendly this is an adult oriented restaurant and I would go even further and saying professional adult restaurant meaning it is for professionals that want to do business or have an adult night out no child will appreciate the quality from an upscale Steakhouse it bothers me when I hear somebody upset with a restaurant for the reason that it's not kid-friendly and they wanted to take their six-year-old out for a magical dinner on their first night of school
Ordered a ribeye rare. Came out medium. Told the waiter it was overcooked. Was offered a replacement steak but not a discount. (I did not want to wait.) Would not recommend eating here.
The food was delicious but the servers were so "handsy". Every moment they would come over to align your utensils, move our plates, fidget with our drink glasses. I understand there's a certain look they want and that wouldn't be so bad if they would ask. I've been at other establishments who have the decency to say "pardon my reach" or "excuse me" when they interrupt a conversation to fix the positions of your forks. Now mind you - it's not like we made a mess of our table. We have great etiquette and only put our forks closer to our plates for comfort and reach along with our drink glasses. And, instead of enjoying our dinner we were in this relentless power struggle with our server who kept doing this even AFTER we said not to. Very disappointing experience because it was stressful and irritating - not at all pleasant or relaxing.
I enjoyed the happy hour offers at the bar, and the smoke wasn't too too bad.
Great food amazing staff kinda expensive but thats to be expected would recommend
Food with real quality ingredients. Quick and friendly service. Prices were reasonable. Mood here is similar to Fresno's scene.
I went there for my 21st birthday and it was a pretty sad experience. Mainly it was the food that we got. I ordered a 10 oz steak and received this tiny piece of meat that was smaller than my palm. My sister ordered stuffed chicken and received two drumsticks the size of quail and the stuffing was on the plate and it was basically soup with little bit of meat, I spent about 130$ and the only decent thing was the wine and the server.... honestly we went to Harkins to watch our movie and paid 30$ for theater food.
The foods are absolutely awesome! But the server was a bit arrogant for our taste... Prices are definitely on the high side but it might not be a bad thing sometimes.
Great happy hour menu and free buffet plus friendly service.
Good Food, Decent Service
Seated promptly at reservation time, but waited a loooong time for our waiter to show up. Most staff were friendly, but young man that seated us clearly didn't want to be there. Once our waiter arrived he was pleasant, professional, and most of the time he was attentive. A different young man brought our entrees out and he got our steaks switched around (same cut, different temperatures) and nobody brought the drink I requested to have served with the main course. Over-all an enjoyable experience, but at these prices I expect the kind of service you get at Mahogany Prime Steakhouse.
You won't find a better steak in the entire state. The wait staff was very attentive and friendly, the entire restaurant was so clean it squeaked and the presentation of the meal on the plate was perfect , and the steak was so tender I could have cut it with a butter knife. Outstanding experience from start to finish. These guys set the standard that all the others strive for. Please don't change a thing.
Good food and service. However, I would say the atmosphere is the best part of this restaurant.
Excellent service! Amazing food, seated without reservation, wine list for every budget, clean restaurant & restrooms, and very romantic atmosphere.
The steak was their 22 ounce bone in cattlemen cut. You could possibly consume 8 to 10. There was enough silver skin in mine you could have stitched a catchers mitt. Flavorless is the only way to describe it. The Lobster cake was good. Not great. Good. Baked potatoe wasn't quite done. The salad was iceberg with a bit of leaf and more core than leaf. The service was top notch. The staff attentive. I suppose they have other tastier fare, but the first item on an in house menu should be top notch taste. This wasn't even tasty. Lea and Perrin could barely flavor it.
We walked into the restaurant looking for friendly service and good food on a busy Saturday night. We were not greeted in a friendly manner at all. The hostess was not welcoming in the least bit. Disappointingly, the service doesn't match the price. We left without even ordering.
Great, friendly service. Delicious food. A lot of entrees, and yummy appetizers to choose from. Recommend this place.
Beware! The servers are trained to be deceiving. That is not an exaggeration. When I ordered the $55 filet, they asked if I wanted to try the Japanese steak instead. They failed to mention, that specific steak was over $300!! We were with a large group of people and we did not realize until the bill came that these con tactics were used on everyone in our party. I would never suggest anyone go to Micky Mantles. I would in fact highly suggest you stay far away. I have never experienced a high-priced restaurant resort to deceptive sales tactics to keep the doors open.
The food was awesome! We had the Ribeye Spinalli 8oz steak with mashed potatoes (creamy). The waiter, David, was spectacular. David provided excellent recommendations and personable service. The atmosphere was calming and elegant (not pretensious). Felt right at home. It was our date night. Recommend it most definitely.
Incredible food and amazing service. Great cocktails! They make the best Old Fashioned I. The city!
Food wasn't good.. steaks where full of fat.. taste was bland. I can see why they keep it dark in there so you can't see the crap they are trying to feed you.. should have gone to outback...
They have Tin Cup whiskey and the best sautted veggies.
I enjoyed the food, stuffed shrimp were great! Nice environment and not too noisy. Wait staff was timely and pleasant.
Delicious food, amazing waitstaff. An all around wonderful experience.
I was in town with my daughter for the Women's College World Series and the game Monday night ran long. We got back to our hotel at 9:45 and took the short walk to Mickey Mantle's and arrived at 9:50...10 minutes before close. I asked the hostess if the kitchen was still open and she said "it's before 10 so absolutely" and sat us right away. Our server was prompt and attentive (not annoyed as some can be when people come in late). We each had a filet and a side of au gratin potato's and a salad to start. The dressing on the salads (the house creamy garlic) was excellent, the steaks were cooked perfectly and the potato's were the best we've ever had. As a restaurant owner myself it's frustrating to only get negative reviews when people are misinformed or even have been in many, many times and the one time they have a bad experience they post a bad review while never once posting a positive. My experience was so enjoyable I felt I had to post my first review. I would highly recommend Mickey Mantle's Steak House if you're in OKC.
Wonderful pepper stake cooked to perfection. Well-edited wine list too. Top standard service.
Well as you may imagine, it's pricey. But it is very good and the service is impeccable. We tried most of the meat entrees and loved everyone of them.
Best steak I've ever had, excellent service as well.
Always our #1 spot for date night. Best fried pickles in town. Amazing steak! Wait staff are always exceptional.
My husband and daughter and I came to bricktown for a special treat to our daughter for first week of school, we picked this place to eat the first night because mom and dad wanted to try it out. Wish we would have spent our money elsewhere. We were looked at like crappy people to bring their"kid" to a place like this. We ordered steak and asked for it well-done, our server even asked if it was ok to butterfly it so it would be done, we said of course, we are spending $50+ on a steak it should be done right. When they brought it out, it was almost still mooing at us. Our server didn't come back by for over 20 minutes so he couldn't say anything until she did and said oh no they didn't do it well done did they, well I can take it back. It's cold and nasty now, the "experience" was already rained. I HATE complaining about food but I am just not ok with spending $100 for a quick bite for it to be nasty. The last bite of my chicken had a long piece of plastic in it, wasn't even worth complaining about it because of how we were already treated for bringing our daughter in . I asked my husband for a drink of his dr pepper, and said sure hope you like the taste of bandaids, I was so confused until I took a drink. I would definitely get that checked out, maybe mold? By that time all we could do is laugh and hope the rest of our time wasn't as bad. So disappointed. :(
I and different guess have come to Mickey Mantle's Steakhouse many times, nobody has ever been disappointed! I tried to do the vegan lifestyle (Plant Base Diet)... and they recently have put Vegan items on the menu believe it or not, at a well known Steakhouse. Ha But it is so hard to stick with the Plant Base Diet when they have the best Bacon Wrapped Pork Chops. Also the niceness thickest Sea Bass with a piece of crab on top of it!!! It will literally melt in your mouth.
We had another great food dining experience at Mickey Mantle s Steakhouse.
Well over priced for the quality of the food. Plates lack presentation...way to noisy to enjoy a conversation whilst dining.
Last night we went there for our anniversary. We expecting to be WOW'd but instead we had crappy service and a $50 steak that tasted and felt like a cheap sirloin from a super-center.. Our server treated us poorly and acting like a snob. My filet had grit and I had to thoroughly chew every bite. The only thing good was the wonderful wine. We have dined here before and enjoyed each time so we knew what to expect while going. But it was mostly depressing knowing we spent close to $300 for my husband and I to eat then walk away wishing we had just made a perfectly cooked steak at home. I wouldn't recommend going at dinner on a weekend.. Because all our other times were late evening after rush on a week day. Good luck if this is where you choose to enjoy a special evening.
The bartender can make a good gin martini. The appetizers are great particularly the lobster cargot. I had the bone in filet which was not bad but I personally learned I prefer stake without a bone in it. If you are visiting be aware - smoking is allowed i the bar area so if you want to avoid it opt for the dining hall.
Atmosphere very Entertaining, Service was good too. Highly Recommend!
came here on a saturday. the place has a cool atmosphere. food and atmosphere reminds me of atlanta.
Very fancy! Snakeskin on the bathroom walls!! Food was okay. None of the steaks just melted in my mouth, but the flavor was okay
The best steak in Oklahoma City! For a lifelong Yankees fan it's like home away from home.
Great steakhouse choice in a good location. Some have said it is the best in OKC but I would put Ranch and Vast well above this location. Great bar though!
Awesome food, pricey but you get what you pay for. Service was awesome as well. The setting is great too. A must try.
Great service with attention to detail around food allergens, etc.
From the minute we stepped out of the vehicle, our whole experience was amazing! New Years Eve with out of town friends... Dinner, drinks & dessert were beyond mouth-wateringly delicious. Awesome atmosphere... friendly, professional & efficient staff followed with a great band (Hypnotiq, if I remember correctly). I could go on & on in detail, but I'm leaving the rest up for you to experience! Mickey's definitely did not disappoint!
I don t ever write reviews but it might have been the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant. Don t waste your money. We went with a group of friends and had a very bad experience. Steaks not cooked right, and they gave my husband something that he didn t even order. The young kid who is the general manager was extremely unprofessional and rude.
Food was really well prepared, good quality, and tasted delicious. Servers were very nice and polite as well. Be prepared for a large ticket though!
Good steak, great bar service, just wish the bar was also non smoking.
Mickey Mantle was one of my Husband's childhood idols. Tonight we were in Oklahoma City where he chose to have his official Retirement dinner with me and our daughter. We were so disappointed to learn they allowed smoking and had to leave due to our daughter's allergies and the respiratory distress it caused me. What a disgrace to Mickey Mantle, who died of cancer as well as everyone else facing the challenges of Covid-19 attacking our respiratory systems otherwise.
Shame on them. We had already ordered drinks and paid for them before taking our business to Charleston's where we thoroughly enjoyed our meals and service.
Price not considered, the experience was very memorable and nice. My girlfriend and I celebrated Valentine's Day, and Mickey Mantle's was a perfect choice. Our waitress, Kylie, was super friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful!
Excellent service, great food! Best steak and lobster tail I've ever had! They do a scampi style lobster tail that is out of this world!
Seems like a nice place but to fancy for me. Can't even get a burger lol
Went for husbands birthday, great wine selection. Delicious food all around & amazing service!
Lobster risotto is amazing, great steaks, amazing wine selection
