Rude and lazy employees sitting in the vital recor...

Rude and lazy employees sitting in the vital records department ....HORRIBLE ATTITUDES when you approach the counter .....not eager to help you in ANY WAY! They need to train in customer service skills....I did not mention my uncle held a VERY high position for the State of Michigan(don't like to play that card) but I will be telling him the names and experience I had with these horrible employees ! One of the worst encounters I have had at ANY establishment! Lansing give your employees customer service skills!

No one seems to have answers about anything. Been calling for a week straight and still can't find where my money went. How am I suppose to live off a 1 dollar check???? Then you tell me that I can't get some if that money back soni can live. It was there office mistake not mines. This isn't fair. I can't wait to leave Michigan and NEVER return.

Granted I have yet to receive good news, but today I was assisted in filling out my medicaid application and the woman on the line was incredibly friendly and made the application process very easy!

Worst system ive ever dealt with. Refusal to help me with everything. Despite it being exactly what this place was made for. The supervisors are rude as hell! Hang up on people simply because theyre being told how places work and the fact that theyre wrong. If you have to live off of this places poor excuse for help. I suggest just moving out of the state altogether.

I have been trying to get through to them for 20 m...

I have been trying to get through to them for 20 minutes now just to be transferred to the wrong place twice, hung up on, and then transferred to a voicemail for legal affairs which is also incorrect! THEN the incompetent, rude, sorry excuse for an operator simply hung up when she saw my number calling again! THIS IS WHAT WE DESERVE? ..I THINK NOT!!! THIS "OPERATOR" DESERVES TO BE FIRED AS SHE HAS NO CONCEPT OF "CUSTOMER SERVICE" AND IS TOO IGNORANT TO REALIZE SHE WORKS FOR US!!!! I would gladly call her supervisor but she is blocking my call....REAL CLASSY AND I HOPE YOUR BOSS SEES THIS! SHE WAS ON THE PHONES ON JAN 4TH BETWEEN 10:00 AND 10:15 AM AND SHE DOES NOT DESERVE THAT JOB!!!!!

After being redirected via phone 5 different times...

After being redirected via phone 5 different times, I drove 2 hours here to see if they had death records for some ancestors of mine while I was doing genealogy research. In order for them to even do the search, you have to pay $46 for each record with no guarantee they will even find it. They also say it will take 1-2 hours and mine took almost 3. The lady running the desk asked to see my ID on 4 separate occasions because she didn t remember my name. The people behind the desk are also behind a plate of glass and you can barely hear them, in addition to not being friendly at all. Basically, I waited 3 hours and paid $100 to be told the records didn t exist. This system really needs to change or be updated and archived online because at this point they re just raking in money. It should not cost $46 and take 3 hours to do a simple search for a record that should realistically take 30 minutes. Whoever is running this system seems to just be greedy and incompetent. I Will avoid going back at all costs, and you should too.
