I am not sure why anyone would write a bad review of MDC, this organization does amazing work in the community. My wife and I have been blessed to work with them on many projects and what they do for the students of the South Puget Sound is amazing. We are grateful for all you do, keep up the good work!

I appreciate all the help from the people at the Metropolitan Development Council. If not for their help, I truly believe I would dead now. Thank you all for your help. You saved my life.
Great place for part time job!!! Great people whom really do care and want to help.
do not even bother trying to get assistance here if your native American because I get turned down just because I am native american and they assume every tribe has their own resources. they told me to go to my tribe for help instead when my tribe does not help me. I am screwed.
MDC rented on behalf of the tenant in my secured interior building. That tenant has created an infestation of bed bugs in the building affecting the entire floor of the building. Hallways and elevator must now be treated as well as neighboring units. Treatment cannot be successful because tenant has not cleaned up. Treatment has been rescheduled and contact with MDC has been going on for 4 months and counting. They have not paid for the pest invoices and the issue is on-going still. We have a good relationship with many agencies but we will be more weary of working with MDC again.
not letting anyone in. Covid reasons. Just call. My call was returned 24 hrs later.
When you need help they sincerely try to find it for you. Not just with keeping the lights and water on. Weatherization programs major repairs that they even work with landlord's to upgrade properties for tenants. They work with Tacoma Public Utilities, Puget Sound Energy. If they cannot help they will try to channel you to someone who can.
If you need assistance they can help you once a year,, as long as they have the funds through grants or donations from other's todo so..
