Cool place, but I think the older guy @ the counter needs a break. He's been working too hard for too long

Terrible service. Walked in, owner and cashier don't say hello or anything. Asked for help finding something, since it's my first time there. Got an attitude from owner as to why am I asking. No wonder no body goes there. All they have are flies as customers. Went in morning, which is typical busy time for lumberyard. NO CUSTOMERS AT STORE. One thing is clear, they are stocked with small things you need in a pinch. They should work on their service part of business. That's my 2 cents

Sure, if you want your hand held and to be fawned over, go to Lowe's and they will sell you the wrong item. Once you get by Metro's seeming indifference, you will find that they will take the time to listen to what you need and get you exactly what you are looking for and never the wrong one. I highly recommend their lumber dept. (it's across the street and they will open it for you) as they have it all and will take the time to pick out the good pieces. Also, they remember you if you come back, Lowe's is anonymous.

This place has the worst customer service. I went to get help with a cartridge and was treated very rudely. The manager or owner who ever he is walked away from me to gossip with someone else and when I tried to get help a second time it was a complete disaster . He told me I would have to pay him for the cartridge as if I was looking to get free merchandise. After he tells me he can order it flips on me says he doesn't want to get involved. I planned to replace several components in my shower had he had an ounce of decency . I ended up walking out since I was treated so nasty. I went else where for help .Was told they get a lot of complaints about this place. From the reviews I see its true..

Shop here. Worth the trip. Owner knows everything about hardware, has everything.

Place is crowded and unorganized. Very untidy. Clerk was rude.
