Metal Coaters of Georgia Review

First time here, seen all the previous comments and was prepared for a long wait but got loaded, in and out in under two hours...great guys!

24/5 Receiving, parking on dead end Rd if not full. I usually get in & out pretty quick, but it can get backed up like everyone else at times.
Put your GPS for 1233 Hayes Industrial Drive LOOK at that on the map so you can see where the entrance side is. It still tries to take you to the wrong side but if you look you'll see how to get there. One way in, drive through building to get out.

Don't know if I got lucky or they changed some stuff around showed up a 0800 was expecting to waste all day in and out 44 mins. Flatbed 2 coils

I've been here just one time to pick up a load of coils and it didn't take long as i was expecting while reading all the reviews, when you get your pick up # make sure you are supposed to pick up here because they have a PLANT 2 couple blocks down the street, i also uploaded two pictures of the route you have to take (highlighted in yellow) for the shipping/ receiving entrance as the gps don't know that, and highlighted in red the picture of the route you're not supposed to take to go to shipping/receiving department of this particular plant.

No overnight parking.

Like i said I've been here just one time and it did go how it's supposed to go, but i don't know in the future may go totally different.

I used to work here 10 years ago. They used to have 3 shifts, but they laid off all but 2 or 3 people on 3rd shift and went to 2 shifts, working 12 hour days. To all the truckers complaining about long wait times, I understand your frustration, but this is a dangerous working environment. From the paint rooms, to the packing line, to shipping, so cut the employees some slack. If a 10,000lb coil were to fall on someone, or if someone were to get pulled into one of the machines, your 4 or 5 hour wait could be extended to 12 to 24 hours or longer. Read a book, call the wife and kids, watch tv, take a quick nap or whatever it is that you do to pass the time, they'll get to you! I apologize and agree with you on not having a place to turn around, but blame the engineers or whoever designed the building and that entire area around the plant.

Sitting for 4 hours in the truck and after that I got some pretty news We sorry but the crane is not working . Do not come here!
