Went there to celebrate my 9 year wedding anniversary. Very nice establishment with good customer service. We stayed at the bed and breakfast which came with a wine tour and a wine tasting. We did the Cellar tour. Very informative and fun. I love how they kept wine in our glasses. This was a great way to celebrate and we will definitely be back in the future. I definitely give it the EJ Stamp of Approval

AMAZING!! This was by far the best winery on the tour. They were exceptionally nice, had fantastic customer service and very interactive. You get to pick the samples you want to taste, with several on the list to choose. We stopped at 5 wineries, did 3 tastings that day, and hands down the best tasting wine we had all day. We had a large group of 9 and they did not have any trouble accommodating us. Would definitely make another visit here!

We took a drive from Houston to check out the Winery on a Tuesday afternoon. We arrived a little after 2pm. We decided to stand at the bar in the tasting room to partake in some tasting. The bartenders made their suggestions but we ultimately made our own selections. They had a special of 5 tastings for $12 which worked for us, we tasted 10 wines between the 2 of us. We enjoyed the wines and it was nice during the week because it was not crowded.

Wine is decent and experience is okay. Service is mediocre because the staff is mostly college students, unfortunately. I did the "Tour de Wines" punch card which takes a long time and a lot of money invested to receive (50 glasses of wine). When I received my engraved wine glass, the "engraving" was already beginning to rub off the first day I got it. This tells me that it's not an engraving at all, but some sort of decal. Very poor quality and very disappointing when you had been looking forward to receiving this and put a lot of money into it.

Having their wine before in Fredericksburg and loving it, we wanted to try their College Station location. We did a tour and tasting with Michael and he was AMAZING! He was full of information and energy! Afterwards we went to the wine bar and had a glass with a cheese tray. Skylar and Brooks took care of us and made us feel right at home. We will definitely be back!!

Winery was part of the Texas Bluebonnet Wine Trial...

Winery was part of the Texas Bluebonnet Wine Trial over July 20, 21, and 27, 28 weekends.
Seemed like trailers were an unnecessary inconvenience. They gave the wine pairings, and appetizers (might as well have been served on a shingle) without any explanation. My wife and I got menus and wine lists, but waited and waited, and waited. We finally left and told the cashier they seemed too busy for us, to which I got the reply maybe we should come back some other time. MAYBE NOT.
The wine trail was great, this winery was not. They need to be left off the trail.
I need to tell everyone in the hospital system to not go here.

It's a great winery. Tons of cute photo areas. They do have a water feature/man made lake with a fountain and a trail that goes all the way around it, vineyards are in full bloom in July/August. But early summer has a ton of greenery still. Highly recommend eating at the restaurant and staying at the villas. They offer packages where you can do all of it, look online for it. I prefer this location over the one in Fredericksburg.

We travelled here from Mico. Tx in a Rockwood Mini Lite travel trailer (2304ks). The trip here was excellent and the stay was outstanding!

The RV parking was generous in size and had 1 30amp outlet plus many other 110v outlets.

Parking area was a gravel surface with easy in and easy out.

The venue was outstanding! Super wine tasting, outstanding wine tour, and an outstanding pizza dinner meal afterwards!

A special thank you to the Aggie ladies that guided us thru the wine tasting and tour. It was a great overnight (Harvest Host) stop - we will definitely stop in again when we travel ths way again.

It was my first time doing a tour there, and I was with my friends that were visiting. It was a great experience, the place is really nice, our tour guide Kaci Alexander was very friendly and attentive, we learned a lot about the process of making wine and about the history of the winery, and after the tour we tasted a few of their wines and Kaci taught us a couple of techniques to appreciate better the wines, I'm definitely coming back to try the restaurant, it only opens on Wednesday

Most people know that the bar is a great social spot and the wine needs little praise (as it is very good) but the two visits at the restaurants.

For dinner, we enjoyed the dinner for two, which was perfectly cooked and served. But what we did not expect was the wonderful and professional service by Tammy. I'm not sure if she is the manager or the head of house, but she ensured that we had a wonderful meal experience. I can't rave more about the kind service and treatment given, with wonderful ambiance.

We returned for brunch, which was delicious and beautiful as well, with the sun coming over the vineyard, it was relaxing to watch the sun hit the rows of growing grapes and relax with mimosas. I will say the brunch is extremely filling: the hash would easily feed two, as would the french toast. So choose your menu items with your stomach, not your eyes, or else you'll go home with two doggy bags like we did! Finally, we were served brunch by Omar, who was great, attentive, but also genuine and kind. We would not mind having him serve us every time, and has Tammy around to make us feel warm and welcome. This is truly how to run a fine dining restaurant.

This is a great place to unwind and relax with a wide variety of good wines, lovely ambiance, and a knowledgeable, friendly staff. They have great Happy Hour deals, specials most nights of the week, and great perks of joining their VIP Wine Club.

We enjoyed brunch here a few weeks ago - the table side French toast was a big hit (see photo with the flames for the dramatic preparation of this treat). The staff was extremely helpful. We had two gluten-free, dairy-free diners in our party, and we were especially thrilled that they could be accommodated. The gluten free pasta was delicious!

After brunch, we strolled next door for wine tasting and feeding the turtles at the pond just beyond. The grounds are really lovely - I'm sure they have some beautiful weddings here.

Thanks for a lovely weekend meal - we will definitely be back!

Date night to the Vineyard House for dinner after the Cellar Tour, and really enjoyed the quiet romantic atmosphere. We had two plates of the Maple Leaf Duck which were quite good, and two glasses of Private Reserve Paulo Port wine with the Port Fudge Sunday. All for less than one hundred dollars. (Excluding the tour) Dress for your occasion, but I'd recommend formal wear. We saw everything from suits and fancy dresses to untucked shirts and shorts.

Wow, best wines and cheese! Nice view and huge green vineyard. This is a romantic place where couples go and chill out. They also have a venue to host wedding at. This I think is a cool facility of its kind. They winery is open to visits and they have large vineyard behind the resort. Customers can take a walk in and get refreshed.

I recently attended the Wine and Roses Festival and they were not at all prepared for the weather. We've known for a week that it was going to storm, setting up your check in as a tent isn't going to work. They didn't have a good backup plan, we waited for 1.5 hrs before we could check in. By the time we got our glasses most of the vendors had left. If you're going to throw an outdoor event you have to have a backup plan. The staff weren't helpful and it was just chaos. I spent $45 on tickets and didn't get to enjoy it. We were bored and tired by 3pm, so I just cashed out the rest of mine for a bottle to take home. Your wines are great but I think I'll just stick to buying them from the store. I hope y'all have a better plan next year, we are very disappointed.

Excellent wine selection, atmosphere, food, and service. We didn't get a chance to take the tour, but I'm pretty sure that it would have also not disappointed. Looking forward to stopping at the other locations.

So i took my wife as well as a few of our friends here today for her birthday. The wine and the bread was good after that it went down hill. The service was slow concidering there wasnt many other people there. The fried calimari was over done as well as bland. We were excited about the crawfish bisk until we tasted it and it was grainy and bland. The pasta was over cooked and bland . The steak was cooked correctly but was bland as well. So if u are only going there for the wine and bread u should have a good time. Please dont order anything else.

My daughters wedding was held at Messina Hof in Bryan Tx on June 8th this year. We worked with their coordinator Sarah and she was GREAT. So professional and patient. She took care of every detail for us. All we had to do was show up and enjoy ourselves. Sarah also arranged all of the vendors and we were happy with them as well. I would not hesitate to recommend Sarah and Messina Hof in Bryan to anyone. It was the wedding my daughter and her groom wanted and more.

Our stay at the villa was great! The price for the room was reasonable, the location was beautiful, and it was quiet and secluded. Our room came with a complementary wine tour and wine and cheese tasting. The wine tour was informative and our guide was fantastic. She was very knowledgable and personable and answered our questions in detail. She was also willing to say that she didn't know the answer to a question, rather than trying to come up with a BS answer on the spot. Great tour for beginners to wine! The cheese that came with our wine and cheese tasting was delicious, and my only complaint with it is that I wish we had been given a recommendation for a wine pairing for the cheeses, rather than just picking any glass without guidance. We had a fabulous time. I wish I could say that the restaurant was as fantastic as the rest of our stay, but it wasn't. We arrived on a Sunday and went to brunch before we checked in, because the restaurant is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays (which is unfortunate, but I completely understand them needing to be closed some days for events and whatnot). They were relatively busy when we got there, so we were prepared to wait a little longer to be seated and for our food to come out. We walked in the door and were ignored twice by servers who came up to speak to a different group of people who arrived at the same time as us. It took about 7 minutes before we were even spoken to or acknowledged, and we were seated a few minutes after that. Our server approached us and explained that they were busy and short staffed, which we were completely understanding of. A few things fell through the cracks, like water refills, and it took some time to get our wine and appetizer, but I was annoyed by how rude our server was. She interrupted us mid sentence and seemed annoyed to be answering questions. I understand having several other tables and needing to move quickly to get things done, but we were not demanding and we had very few questions for her. Even after the restaurant quieted down and we were some of the few people left in the restaurant, our service did not improve. I'm not impressed with the service at all. The food was alright, it was a little disappointing but the focal point of the business really is the wine, not the food. The wine was phenomenal, the villa was romantic and relaxing, and the grounds were beautiful. If you are planning to visit, I highly recommend it. Just don't expect much from the restaurant itself.

Beautiful winery, within a driving distance from Houston. We've been there a several times, and whenever we have out of town guests, we take them to Messina Hof. Their wine is very very nice, and my parents who live overseas always pick up a bottle of two when they visit. Can't wait to go back there in near future!

Was there for a friend's wedding. The recent rains drove the wedding inside to the wine cellar. This made for a unique and intimate venue, which might have been better than outside in the grape arbors. The food at the reception was amazing - from the cheese plate appetizers, the steak entree, to the lemon wedding cake.

A wonderful experience, Jonathan is the embodiment of wine knowledge, a human Wikipedia on all things vino. We couldn t have had a more enjoyable experience touring the vineyard and becoming familiar with Messina-Hof s offerings. I would most certainly recommend it.
