Great accommodation large rooms close to everything great staff at reception

Love this hotel and the service is great! The rooms are great , well equipped. , well lit up , and great for business or pleasure. The night lights at the harbour and the bridge is Amazing! The morning coffee over the balcony over looking the viaduct is a great start! Big thank you for all the great front staff including Dennis.
Plenary of choice for great food and cocktails just next to the hotel.

such a great location. spacious suite with great veiws. comfortable and clean suite e everything we needed. a tableside lamp was hanging limp and broken...seemed to spoil the look of the room...but we Loved our stay here

Nice hotel, but they were "low on room keys" so using the elevators which require a room key is a pain in the butt. They also charge for WiFi which I HATE!!!
If you stay here eat at Soul which is located right next door. They have great food! Definitely our best meal in New Zealand. You will thank me later!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Housekeeping staff were wonderful. Clean and comfy. Fantastic location. Free Wi-fi would have been a great benefit. No view but that didnt worry us. we overlooked the carpark thru a concrete wall but loved the interior.
Great showers, large wardrobe with safe and laundry facilities offered free in room.
Would definitely stay here again.

Clean, tidy and modern in a great viaduct location.

Facing viaduct harbour, it has great view, great access to all the restaurants - just step out of the entrance. Great staff and great facility. I keep coming back.

Room interior are now a little dated, but they are well appointed and clean.
Hotel dining options were limited at the time (due to construction).

Great studio apartment with excellent facilities if you want to cater for yourself. Plenty of dining choices on the doorstep, though. I can recommend Dr Rudi's for breakfast.

Nice enough for the money best thing here is the location right in the viaduct.

Great restaurant and bar right on the harbour. We did not eat here just had cocktails. Great selection of wine and beers. We sat on beanbag chairs on a artificial turf area. There was a live DJ playing music, fantastic Sunday!

Hotel is beautiful and location stunning, but staff very unhelpful and struggle to make decisions in order to facilitate requests.

Lovely place heaps of places to eat for the amount of money that we pay for the room I expected bigger balcony

Fabulous. staff very helpful and friendly...rooms are wonderful with decks and wonderful views.. mant wonderful restaurants a a short walk away. .ferry, bus and train transport minutes away.. close to shopping on Queen street . sky tower a close walk away...and many maby more things to see and do..10+

This hotel was so accommodating. We had another hotel that was a nightmare so we left & landed on the steps of the beautiful Sebel a bit after midnight and was so pleased at the service and accommodations

Bit dated. Bedding too hot even tho the air conditioning was turned down. Great location. Staff lovely

Very disappointed booked my parents for two nights for a weekend getaway , very noisy they did not enjoy there stay .

Hotel staff were lovely and helpful, the bed was clean and comfortable, major issue with Taxi's blocking entrance to carpark. Room could certainly do with a refresh, scratched paint, stained carpet, dated appliances, poor noise insulation. Other that stay was pleasant, central location is good, not too bad on price either.

Nice place to stay, has laundry, free pool and spa facilities.

Shower is not strong enough, so probably needs a little bit clean. Smart TV isn't smart enough to watch Netflix

I found the Sebel well run, very accommodating, clean, close to eateries and the ABD. The view of the Viaduct Basin at night is fabulous.... Looking across to Americas cup central and the Harbour Bridge.

I cannot praise the staff in this hotel highly enough. The day before we were due to check in i broke my ankle ( although at that stage didnt know it was broken ) after going over on it. When we got there i was in a fair amount of pain and they couldnt have been more helpful in getting me to a hospital. Once i got back to the hotel they went above and beyond to make sure my husband and i were comfortable and had everything we needed.

Fantastic location, great rooms, great service. The restaurants surrounding the hotel were all so delicious. The rooms were spacious and lovely. However, they do not offer free wifi. That s the only downside about the hotel. As a paying hotel customer spending over $200/night, I think WiFi should be provided. If that s not an issue for you, than absolutely book this hotel! It really is lovely!

After taking some time to check in and the hotel almost charging me again, we went to our room. It was super noisy from the extractor fans from the restaurants below. The team, all though fully booked made some changes for us and gave us an upgrade. The room was great

We always stay at the Sebel when we stay in the city, mainly because they are one of the only hotels that have balcony's. The rooms are spacious and nice and tidy and the suites are set up with a good sized kitchen. Makes for an enjoyable stay in the city.

Needs double glazing on windows and a bigger bed! Double bed was tiny and even my feet hung over the end. Could hear all the bar noise from downstairs - even on a Tuesday night.

Everything ok, but try and get a room overlooking the harbour.

I have been an Accor gold member for many years and thus decided on this location for its proximity to the Quay (we're about to go on a Cruise)... I was VERY disappointed with the state of the rooms. Even the doors to the rooms were not adequate. I cancelled the rest of my stay and changed to a different hotel for the rest of our stay. It is a shame! But unless they embark in some serious renovations real soon, I don't believe this location is worth the price they're charging per night. No way...

Sebel Viaduct is awesome! It's the staff who make this place great, they really understand service with a smile. Nothing is too much trouble, just ask & they'll sort it out & quickly.

Check-in? You've already done that online, welcome, would you like a beer? No wonder all the guests walk around happy & relaxed. It's a frictionless guest arrival procedure that lets you get on with enjoying your stay.

Rooms are well-appointed & there's parking underneath. Expect some external noise, you're staying in the heart of an entertainment precinct.

Good clean rooms. Mine had view of motorway but good sound proofing. Generous room size and bathrooms. Simple kitchenette, big 40" TV, free Wi-Fi in lobby for an hour. Fantastic location on harbour front amongst amazing restaurants

Little on the pricey side but good location and great facilities. I like the washing machine, oven, cutlery etc. I recommend asking for a room on the harbour side as the views are much better

Wow I just wrote a review 10 minutes ago about being disappointed with our room but I now need to add to the review. We asked reception to bring a mini bottle of bubbles and 1 x beer to our room and they dont have any cold beer and no bubbles onsite! $430 per night and we cant enjoy a drink in our noisey hotel room! Even more disappointed. I dont normally make reviews but this is a shocker.

Clean, great location, well.laid out suite with everything needed (except a sharp knife to cut the limes for our vodka soda). Enjoyed the stay.

The Sebel - A must stay and I definetly will be coming here from now on... I usually don't do reviews but today I had one of my worst shopping excursions ever when an arrogant, rude shop assistant told me I was too fat for their shop. Double ouch! Anyway wasn't feeling in the best of moods and not to happy with Aucklands customer service. Came back to my hotel and the guys at the Sebel made it so much better. Really brought a smile to my face. I was booked in here for 2 nights and everything was top notch. Quiet, modern, relaxing and clean. The dryer and washing machine were a great add plus the kitchen facilities. Room service and food delicious... Thank you guys especially the night desk crew but also all the front counter crew during the day. The bubbly you gave me really made my evening.. So once again thanks.... its nice to encounter great customer service from real people.
