Reservation for 8 pm and had to wait with a party of 4 for 30 minutes standing by the stairs. No drinks while we wait :( once seated, service was slow. I can't make this up, but the sealing was leaking, AND the brick ceiling chipped and fell on me. The manager came by and said that I look okay. Then the waitress said, " we eat like birds". That was the most interaction we got from her so we laughed. Can't make this up

Mercer Kitchen is a great upscale neighborhood restaurant in SoHo. Great food, great service and top quality food. It's everything you'd expect from a celebrity chef establishment but at much more reasonable prices. I always recommend Mercer Kitchen to friends visiting NYC and it never disappoints.

Always good. I would have given 5 stars but they stopped serving the fish and chips. I love sitting upstairs and the staff are always so kind. Please bring the fish and chips back! Great for breakfast too.

This is my go-to Soho spot. They are allergy friendly and very accommodating.
The shrimp salad is top 3 salads I ve ever had in my life, and this is coming from someone who doesn t usually enjoy shrimp. (It s so good that they posted the recipe online)
The fries are thin and crispy, and I love that they are served in a pot. Honestly you can t go wrong with the menu. Everything is great.

Their menus were delicious, and their cost was reasonable, too. We were having the best night, and we definitely back and dine again with the kids We had dinner here last night for our wedding anniversary celebration. The place was very passionate and rustic. Having dinner under the trees, lights above you, it was so romantic! . For sure, they will love the place.

This was a great restaurant and I really appreciated the food much more than the atmosphere. It's a large restaurant but people are seated so close together that it felt cramped. That said the food was really good. We started off with an appetizer of artichoke cooked perfectly the sauce that accompanied it was absolutely delicious. I went with somebody who is vegetarian and they ordered sides and absolutely love them. I on the other hand ordered chicken fettuccine and mushroom and it was probably the best I've ever had. it was priced on the high side but worth the money. it's best to have reservations to be able to get in there was a bit of a wait. they also have a well-stocked bar and I saw open seats there so whether you're waiting to sit down or just to go in and have a drink it looked very nice.

Mercer Kitchen was fantastic. Some friends and I came into town and I made a reservation initially for 4 and then upped it to 7. They were more than willing to change the number for the group and be attentive to the fact that we had a baby with us. They seated us downstairs which was wonderful. Although we didn't get to see outside, we had a ton of space and the baby's parents felt very comfortable walking around when he got fussy. The food was great - it is now my favorite place in SoHo, everything on the menu is good too - we're close enough that we all shared. Definitely recommend this place for couples, for groups, for families (especially if you're seated downstairs).
