Mercantile Club Review

Went there for lunch today with some friends.. good food drinks and not very expensive. Super clean bathrooms and a nice big bar and friendly staff

Great local club with good food/prices and a friendly staff. Beer selection includes your typical domestics and a few good micros/imports. Finding a parking spot can be rough at times.

Breakfast was delish! Raisin french toast so flavorful, creamed chipped beef so fresh. Large servings, low prices. Service excellent. Top notch private club.

For starters my nephew, Dustin Miller does karaoke eveey Friday night, go see him, he's awesome!!!
The bar and restaurant welcomes you, friendly locals and staff. Known for their breakfast but lunch and dinners are just as fabulous...my favorite is Taco salad with seasoned ground beef, portion is huge! My husband loves ribeye cheese steak. Gotta go!!!

Good food, reasonable prices on food and drink. Must have membership to get in. Smoking bar that does leech into dining room. No smoking room upstairs open sometimes.

Food is always good people are friendly all good price

This is a private club. Everyday has lunch specials. And everyday has two or three specific dishes offered for that day. There is a full service bar.

This establishment has the kind of old fashioned atmosphere that's dying rapidly in the Lehigh Valley. Old, dark, smokey bar surrounded by local members. Sometimes you can even hear soft conversations in PA Dutch.
The food, while nothing fancy, is comfy and gut warming. The drinks are simply cheap and strong.
Bear in mind, you have to be a member to visit on your own. Male members must invite men, women invite women. Yes it's antiquated, but in the charming way of everything else about the place.
The Merc has a way of making you feel nostalgic for a time long past. And has good food to boot.

Compared to many private clubs, this place is busy nearly every time I go! There's an event almost all the time, the staff is great, as are the members.

Been a member since 2001. Can't say enough of the great service and staff. Many great memories.

I have only been in here once, and it was fine. My problem is more with the amount of drunk people leaving in a car from this location. I've watched a couple people that were so drunk they could barely stand, let alone drive, get into a vehicle and swerve home. I've also seen drunks scrape several cars and take a few mirrors off while leaving.

It would be better if they did a value menu during this covid 19, bs. But they are charging full prices. So to have a beer and a shot I get to pay 2.95 for a cup of soup, that I won't eat. Waste of food.

The staff is courteous and the food is great. Food is served daily. Membership is required.

We just had take out/curbside dinners and they were fantastic! The food was hot and delicious - kudos to the chef and to the Club and personnel for setting up a good system for taking care of us! Thank you- Joey & Donna Yopconka

Nice large bar -- food is well made and reasonably priced.
Can get a little smoky in the bar since this is a private club and smoking is allowed inside.

Service was a bit slow but the food was excellent. I would recommend.

Went with our friends who are members for dinner. Excellent variety of food on the menu at reasonable prices. The food was exceptional. The drinks were perfect, and the staff very friendly.
