Property owner here. Clifton from Marathon/ Memphis Cashflow said he could rehab my investment property for under my current bid. He promised me several times the work would be done quickly.
After I agreed and let go of my old contractor, the bid of course turned out to be about the same. OK fine, it will be done faster at least.
Not only was it not fast, they overran even a normal timeline by months, causing me loss of rental income.
Fast fwd less than a year and expensive problems starting to occur with the work. I'm having repairs on things that should be brand new. Some things were not even done. This was supposedly a full rent-ready 30k rehab.

In summation: standard lies, inaccountability and crap work with a polished face. Welcome to real estate.

They do have an A+ w the BBB though, which tells you something about the BBB. Fake also.

Clifton Stone, Hulet Gregory and the team at Memph...

Clifton Stone, Hulet Gregory and the team at Memphis Cash Flow have been excellent partners for us. We have owned 11 homes through Memphis CashFlow for two years and are about to purchase 2 more. They are very smart investors who run a very good business. They communicate well, are very honest and are always fair and thoughtful in everything they do. We feel fortunate to have them as great partners in our most important investment.

My wife and I have been investing in real estate for 7 years, and in Memphis since July of 2014. We live in CA, so investing out of state can be challenging. A friend referred me to Clifton at Memphis Cash Flow. Any real estate transaction is about the numbers first, and even though we are still learning, the Memphis market seems to provide excellent cash flows based on sale price and rents. Beyond that, you have to trust the people with whom you work and Clifton has gained our trust. He is an investor, so he knows the process, but more than that, he cares, and tries to do the right thing. When little things have come up along the way, and they always do, Clifton has handled it the right way. Life is about relationships, and I am a big fan of Memphis Cash Flow #1 for the returns, because it wouldn't matter how nice Clifton was without returns, and #1A because I trust Clifton to treat me fairly.
