I would like to sing the praises of the entire staff at Memorial Hospital of Tampa. I was treated with respect, dignity and compassion throughout the whole process leading up to and following my surgery. The medical staff went out of their way to make me comfortable and eased any anxiety I had. I truly appreciated the time spent with my family member by Dr Watkins in explaining details of the procedure and my condition after surgery and for his follow up phone conversation with me that evening.

ER service experience is amazing. We felt welcome since we opened the door to the release of the patient. They treated us with respect, care, and love. Doctors , nurses and front desk employees Miss Marlene one of the BEST of the best made me feel that they truly love what they do. I will highly recommend this hospital as the first option when you have an unexpected emergency. May God, keep blessing hospital and places where they care about human beings no matter if they are white, black, Hispanic ,Asian, etc., poor or rich. This place truly care about your health matter at all times. It was a tough time but their service experience helped us to handle this emergency better. Thank you so much , I hope you keep growing much more

Hospital visits always seem to be scary (at least for me) specially when you re going in for a procedure/surgery. I have never heard of this hospital, and it was the one available to proceed with my procedure due to COVID restrictions. I didn t want to wait any longer so I accepted. I m glad I did, everyone from the valet personal to the very last nurse who wheeled me out was courteous, kind and considerate. I never felt pressured to hurry or ignored when I needed them. The facilities are very cleaned and spacious, offering enough adequate room for all.

The woman at the front information desk was a controlling nasty person. I walked in, knew where I was to go, and was on my way, but she called me back to ask if I needed help and then wasted my time with her nonsense. When you're about to have a procedure done, believe me you're not in the mood for her. The rest of the staff was wonderful, kind, and very attentive. Thus the four stars. Lots of ladies named Elizabeth working there. It was a fun pass time chatting about nick names waiting for my turn. Those nurses pulled the score up. Very knowledgeable and nice too.

I have been to Memorial Hospital numerous times ov...

I have been to Memorial Hospital numerous times over the last 15 years for my regularly scheduled cystocopy and ureathrotomy. I have, in the past, always felt confident of the nursing staff. This time however, was quite different. Fist, when they did a stick for my blood sugar the nurse cleaned the ring finger on my RH and promptly stuck the middle finger. After the procedure before going home, I asked for a large catheter bag to take home for night use in place of the leg bag I was wearing. I was told that was impossible because they would have to pull the current catheter and replace the catheter with the other bag. I told them they were not pulling the catheter, I only needed the big bag too. They tried to convince me the hospital had run out of catheter bags, then that they would have to go to another floor to get one....but they would still have to change catheters. I left without the second bag. I have had sufficient experience with urology in the last 68 years to know one can change catheter bags without changing the catheter. When I spoke with my doctor about the situation he indicated that he had ordered two bags for me. Someone needs some education on how to change catheter bags without pulling the catheter. Thanks for reading. I look forward to better service again in the future.

My stay at Memorial Hospital of Tampa was exceptional! The staff was very responsive and courteous! They all had wonderful personalities and were all very pleasant each time they visited my room. I appreciated that they treated me as a person and not just as one of their many patients.
