The medical care and attention given was poor . I would like to file a complaint. Short detail ... I arrived @ 11pm after daughter was in car crash , she was placed in a waiting area with blood and glass over her body a nurse actually took her vitals and rolled her back in the waiting area , it took an hour before put in a room and another nurse looked at her cuts and stated she needed stitches. We were discharged at 7am with no stitches not even prescription for pain . 4/17/2021

My daughter broke her leg in Herman Park and I took her here. The staff took great care of her. Thank God this Hospital was near to us. My family and I have sent prayers for the staff and patients to be safe and sound during Covid.

Had to stay overnight for my son's EEG testing. The nurses were great in helping him feel comfortable. Tons of toys and movies to keep him entertained. The hospital food was actually pretty good. They even sent up snacks for nourishment. Parking was 15.00 for overnight + 1 hour on the weekend. Walking around this hospital is overwhelming if you dont know where you're going. It's huge! Once I found everything it wasn't so bad. Definitely call ahead if you need to get somewhere specific, its easy to get lost.

My 7 year old grandson has been a patient since before he was born. I've never experienced the mess and disrespect that was dished out last night by Anna in check in on the Fannin side. She was very rude to me also others that were trying to visit . Her attitude last night was unacceptable and is a disgrace for a person that works in a public place. From my understanding she has been very rude to people coming into the hospital to visit a loved one. If she doesn't like people or her job she needs to find another profession. She didn't want to give me her name when I asked for it to report her and on top of that she didn't have a badge on because I didn't see it. You can't ask people for their names when the person that you're asking don't even know who you are but yet you're working in a hospital environment. Memorial hermann's Fannin Street you guys need to do better when it comes down to greeting and dealing with guests if it wasn't for the patients you guys would be out of a job. I asked her when she told the older couple that came in after she was rude to them if she was having a bad day and also told her she needs to watch how she speaks to people. After I told her about herself my oldest daughter told me that Anna told security along with another coworker that she was going to tell her boss not to let me come back to visit my grandson because she felt disrespected by me. I did inform her that the day she did that is the day my grandson would be pulled out of that hospital. You can't expect to mistreat the people that is paying your salary and not expect repercussion especially when it comes to someone's child or grandchild. What you reap is what you sow so you better watch your actions because the same way as we are going through stuff with our kids you may one day have to walk in those same steps.

My son was taken into the ER for a leg wound . As soon as we got there they attended to his needs . Staff in the ER was so amazing, kind and they explained everything to us . They made him feel less scared . Both of us actually! He was moved to pediatric which there they were also amazing. Before going into surgery the team made jokes with him to get him comfortable. He was so scared but to see him laugh and talking with them before he went in was very comforting. After he was placed in his room the nurses were very good at coming in on time attending to his every needs ! This hospital is very well AMAZING at what they do!

I was in the OR having a c section when i handed my belongings to a nurse to keep safe. All of a sudden no one can find nor do they want to help find my belongings. Completely unacceptable and unfair.

The African lady working on the 7th floor of The Sarifima floor is very rude. She doesn t greet visitors and stays on the phone speaking in her native language. Must be nice to sit down down all day just to be rude to people. When I asked for her name she said her name was Rosemary.

My son was treated there for years, and i thought, we had a good relationship with inpatient imu pediatric teams. That changed, following ONE pediatrician who took it upon herself, to try and block care my son needed, and put in his record, which i have a copy of, that treating him is a waste of her time, and hospital resources and attempted to prevent other physicians from treating his condition aswell. We quickly discharged, with the help of his outpatient team, and will not take him.back for future admissions, for fear that she will try again. She was reported, but that usually doesnt mean much. His outpatient team.there is great, and we will continue seeing them. Admissions will only be at tch from now on....for his protection. If your in the business of treating children, especially children with complex, chronic conditions, your pediatric attendings and fellows need to work on their bedside manner and compassion for a child in pain.

I bought my twins to the hospital, because their doctor advised me to. I was told I was supposed to be a direct admit, but nobody could seem to get the information right and I ended up having to get checked in through the ER and then admitted to the hospital. One of the nurses working in the ER took it upon herself to advise me that my twins don't look alike because one of my twins are adorable and that she was definitely smarter than the other twin . I was in the hospital for three days with my minor children and not one day did they offer food. I guess parents are supposed to starve. They do have a couple of good nurses, but I will never in my life come back once the babies are released.
