I purchased an astrojet M1C printer on September 18, 2020. The printhead showed its first signs of failure in October, and is now out of order. I printed 3617 labels of size 64 x 178 mm with this printhead. Your distributor in France, the Tasco company, explains to me that consumables are not guaranteed, and refuses to compensate me. They explain to me that they cannot know in advance the life of the printhead. Is your material of such poor quality? Will I have to change the printhead every month which would bring the cost to 0.115 / label just for printhead wear and tear, not including ink and machine depreciation? Prior to purchase, they provided me with a cost estimate (with my files) of 0.05 / label, including ink and head wear. Today, I'm at 0.165, or 330% of the original cost, not including the ink wasted every time I try to clean the printhead to fix the problem. So the simulations generated by the machine are unreliable? The most profitable option for me to date is to throw away the machine and outsource the printing of my labels.
