Great views, but wouldn't recommend the "edge" experience. Nice restaurant and Cafe.
Great views, but wouldn't recommend the "edge" experience. Nice restaurant and Cafe.
Love this place. I recommend people to go nd visit this place at evening time to see the perfect lighting nd view of melbourne. Its full of life
Nice weather in rainy weather but you have to add more dollars to really go up to the top floor ...
Eureka SkyDeck88 this is such an amazing day like it was today
i remind everyone to see this lovely view of Melbourne City from this experiences its such a lovely place to go to
Must do when you visit Melbourne. Best view in town, worth the money.
Was a good time filler when you have nothing else to do.
I can see the city of Melbourne at a glance. Because there are no higher buildings around, 360 degrees are all good views. I do not want to recommend Edge experience. It is even more thrilling to go out to the Taras and enjoy the direct wind.
Heading up to the Sky Deck was definitely worth the $25 (that my best mate covered for me)!
Going up the elevator, the swaying of the building was a little intimidating at first, but added to the experience thereafter.
There is a little Cafe like set up at the top, so you could enjoy a light meal whilst enjoying the view also.
There is also a wire fenced open platform where you can take great photos of the surrounds by placing your phone camera lens in between the wiring.
The only downside was the Edge Experience where you enter a room which has opaque white window walls including the ground, before it goes clear... Or at least is supposed to be clear. The glass remains slightly opaque, and you don't quite get the scary experience or adrenaline rush some may seek. Hence, I didn't think it was worth the extra charge of $17(?)...
All in all, yes definitely worth checking out at least once.
Nice view. Good to check out where you have been from a bird's eye view. The edge was short and crowded. Wait was an hour. To be fair it was busy as it was Christmas holidays.
Great views of Melbourne city from the top of 88th floor.
A bit expensive for what it is but the view is great. The free VR was the highlight for the kids.
It best to see on Top of sky to look down Melbourne it amazing I love it
Compared to other skydecks, the Eureka Skydeck is average. The tinting on the glass obstructed the view. The extra $10 to go in the viewbox seemed excessive.
Great view, informative guides, very nice way to start the day touring the city. Whst may seem an expensive ticket will save you at least that as you get your bearings with your morning coffee
Fantastic view of the city, far better than the tower in Sydney
Nice Place to Take friends who come From Overseas apart from that it's just a building which is very high
You have a great view, but the conditions for photographing are rather difficult (reflections and dirt on the windows). That's why hobby photographers should not expect too much.
The Edge is an experience of a special kind, but unfortunately it can not be banned because of camera, unless you buy overpriced photos. Whether it is the Werr, everyone has to decide for themselves.
Nice view, in my opinion a little expensive for what it is
If your new to Melbourne, or even a local and have not been to Eureka Skydeck, this is something that should be visited at least once!
A beautiful high up perspective of our Melbourne City that is just can be beautifully viewed from sunrise to sunset at the Skydeck.
Do I recommend? Yes I do.
Fantastic view, great coffee. The place to really see Melbourne.
Amazing place, great prices. Decent hot chocolate. The view is incredible. Especially at night with all of Melbourne lit up. You must go if you're in Melbourne.
A stunning view, from 88 floors above, of the entire city centre of Melbourne including the great MCG stadium. Has a hi-speed elevator. Has student discount, which costs 34 AUD. Otherwise, costs 44 AUD. It costs extra to visit the glass box. I personally don't feel it is worth the extra 10 dollars for it.
Superb views of the city from all sides of the viewing level. You can also walk outside to view the city and the Edge Experience as the platform deploys out of the building.
We visited the Sky Deck on a warm Friday night approx 9pm. The queue was out the door. Thankfully we had our voucher so could walk straight in, only to find another massive queue inside waiting to be checked by security. It was so hot in there with all the people. We were surprised there was only one lift to get such a large number of people up. Finally got up to find HEAPS more people which made it very hard to get near the windows, extremely squashy. We probably spent 30-40min waiting to get out on the 'Edge' and gave up waiting & gave our buzzers to another couple. Then had to queue up to get back down.
Great views, but feels like a complete tourist trap. Very expensive, and windows weren t clear enough to get the best view.
Great view on a sunny day. I didnt quite enjoynit because its nothing exciting. I feel the wheel is more exciting to visit.
Aerial panorama of the whole city. Not to be missed.
Great views. and i like their opening times - until 10pm, so you can go for sunset if you want, after dinner (or before depending the time of year)
Location. Just perfect. The views are breathtaking and the Skydeck is kinda scary, even for a grown man. staff are very jovial and friendly.
Before sunset is the best time to go there. After dawn will be just okay city night view. If you looking for a picture wise wouldn't recommend night view except u outside and pay a bit more and have a decent camera.
Great views of the city and not the usual exorbitant entrance fees. You can pay extra to go outside, but it's not a messy do experience. Sit down with a coffee or ice cream and enjoy.
Not the best place to take photos of Melbourne as there are a lot of reflections on the glasses.
Absolutely amazing!! If it isn't on ur bucket-list,it should!
Great views! Experience the speedy lift. Have a cuppa whilst looking at the city - if you're brave enough you can stand outside and get a closer look...
Great view of Melbourne despite glare being a problem at times.
Easy to get tickets, scanned from phone to enter & no waiting in line. Great view of course.
Attitude from every one , from the security and from the front desk girl, I get my money back and left , can t put up with this Bad behaviour, I felt I ve been bullied by everyone
And to get the matter worse security Guy asking me to apologise just for asking if I can use that line he s defence I was too loud
Breathtaking view from the top. Additional information on the each glass panel with virtual reality experience.
Fantastic view.
Not expensive and worth seeing. The edge doesn't seem worth the extra money and the glass seemed foggy. Small 'cafe' area whilst at the top and gift shop back down. Friendly staff
The @eureka_skydeck is probably the best spot to see the whole of Melbourne city. Sometimes when I visit a new place (or return to an old one), I always do one sort of touristy thing like go up an observation deck and catch views like this. I love it. Best times to come is just before sunset and watch as the lights make the city come alive. In almost all the cities I ve done this, the view is breathtaking. I do love Melbourne.
Eureka is must place to visit if you are coming to Melbourne. Beautiful views during day and night. Can use the same ticket for night visit.
Worth a visit. Get some bearings on Melbourne from up high.
Good place to see in Melbourne where we can see the entire view of Melbourne .Good time to see from 5.30 pm for sunset view & light view about 7 pm visit edge too for thrilling experiance
Pretty decent observation deck, including a small fenced area so you don't have to shoot photos through glass.
Unfortunately, at least at night, inside has a ton of lights glowing, which means most of your photos are ruined by reflections.
And this-- not the skydeck's fault-- is exacerbated by the fact that the Melbourne skyline isn't particularly outstanding, so you're paying a decent sum for a view that's only okay to begin with.
Reasonable prices, especially compared with other observation decks around the globe. Great coffee/ snack area (they have Furphey!!) Edge experience was totally worth it, and not scary at all. Great fun for the whole family, with excellent mementos to remember the day (photos or postcard mailed from highest postal box). Service was professional, yet friendly.
Stunning views of Melbourne and the surrounding area!
Especially during Sunset one of the best places to be in Melbourne!!
The view is very nice. But the deck will glass floor is not as thriling as it is made to sound.
The tallest building in Melbourne with a typical metropolis atmosphere.
It was great experience but camera in the edge was not working. It was not only disappointing but also hinted towards intentions.
It was told when we were in edge after waiting for 2 hours that camera is not working. They clicked photos from our own cellphone. But I found photos were shaken and not really useful. And it was with S10 plus.
It's not only money but also time which matters. I am feeling like cheated and helpless.
,
Hope someone is reading this.
It s 88 floor high deck. An easier way to take a look of whole CBD. There are few binoculars also but they have put stainless steel pipes to observe specific landmarks like racecourse and MCG etc . Toilets are available on floor
Good to visit once coz I feel it to be little pricey including sky deck. They should include the skydeck peice in the entry price. However it is good view point to observe Melbourne city.
What a beautiful view of the Giant city "Melbourne ".. Worth a visit
Fantastic panoramic views of the entire city. Worth the trip.
Great viewing point to have a look all around Melbourne. Glass cage is awesome. Nice staff. Overcrowded, Asians tourists are very noisy and too many of them so it is complex to make a good shot.
