Megatel built my home, and the quality of materials used was superb. I am satisfied with their services.

Horrible, they lie to you during your walk thru. They tell you it's covered and once your closed, they come and tell you that your warranty items discussed in the walk thru is not covered. They have peoplenty that don't care about you. If you deal with Adam at sales office, he beats around the bush, never a straight answer. IF you get Trevor, in Woodbridge area, he attempts to help but tells you his hands are tied. And Lord, if you get Justin the warranty guy, your screwed as hell. GOOD LUCK, DON'T BUY , GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING.

Don t ever deal with this builder, terrible experience with sales staff and legal departments, they got my earnest money and didn t move forward, then send termination agreement with false statements Fraud and I didn t get my earnest money and lost many opportunities, I had filed complaint against megatel and take legal action...

Absolutely terrible customer service, they will not stand by their warranty. Generally unreliable.

I love everything about Megatel. Their customer service is amazing, and they deliver quality work.

I ll start off by saying to NEVER buy a home built by Megatel. I have lived in a Megatel townhome in Allen off Stacy and Greenville for about 6 months. It has been problem after problem. The builders and Megatel do not care about quality whatsoever and there has been 3 different builders come and go in 6 months. They are always reluctant to fix things, so you have to harass them. We have had problems with air ducts, creaking floors, cracked tile, sprinkler system, flower beds and grass in the front yard, etc. The landscaping company told us that Megatel stopped paying them so they have not put any new plants or mulch in our flower beds nor were cutting our grass until we told the builder what was going on. They told us the sprinklers were fixed but they just turned them off. HOA is $125 a month, which I should get a refund because the money isn t going toward what it is supposed to like maintaining the front yard. No one ever answers the phone at Megatel to speak with anyone and I heard they have a lawsuit with the building owner in downtown Dallas and are moving so you can t show up in person to talk with anyone. My husband and I are beyond frustrated. If anyone has contact info let me know thanks!

Their customer service is amazing. They walk you through the home building process and engage you on the design. I am very happy with their services.

We had 2 homes built, both the EXACT same. 1 was great and the other has had issue after issue after issue. Most were right after warranty period ended. The wiring was all jacked up, pocket door was installed backwards, sewer vent BACKWARDS. Its almost like someone was drunk when building the home. The appearance looks fabulous but the bones are horrible. The one with all the issues is our rental property as well. Then if you try and find the person who installed the items that went wrong the company puts you on a wild goose chase. Met the owner of Megatel once while building and he was horribly rude and arrogant, even mentioned suing us as he stormed off in his Bentley . Even though 1 home turned out amazing so far, 2.5 years later, its not worth the gamble! Save your money and headaches!

I have problem with propert tax issue. Becareful before buy with megatell

The home build is nice, corners are square, tall ceilings, decent standard fixtures. We liked the sturdy star railings and the energy efficient details.

The only issues we ran into, was getting items fixed on the warranty request. Construction management has changed 3 times, and they ha e people come out to fix that aren't prepared.

So good quality home, company needs some work.

They are an amazing company. From the moment I walked into their offices, I felt welcomed. I could feel that they genuinely cared about my interests. The quality of work they delivered is great too.

Signed a contract Aug. 1st to build a home in Flower Mound on the Riverwalk and told multiple times (yes even with the Covid) that my house would be done in August! That was about 4 supervisors ago and then signed my least for October! Now other houses are being completed but not mine!! It goes weeks without any work done (and no this is not because of inspections because the other house would have the same problem if that was the case).
If it is not done by the middle of October then you all will need to pay my rent of over $7,000 a month! Why is house #2217 more important than my house #4428!! I have to tell the apartment today if I am extending my lease. I cannot afford to move somewhere else or even stay here after Oct.
Why don t they just finish this house!!!! I had a ton of people wanting this area and I told them about my nightmare dealing with this company and the many many turnovers you all have! SAD

If possible I could give negative stars biggest mistake of my life is buying home from.megatel even after buying new house improper roof install.and other issues for which I am.qaiting to get resolved from almost an year

Their team is so rude and unprofessional that could call this the worst purchase of life if you want to buy house better spent little more and pick builders which are repuatted and do give you house and services

Please stay away from.megatel team.and houses and would never recommend them to anyone

Not helpful. My first time purchasing a megatel home and it will be the last one.

I love my new home! The home buying process with Megatel was an absolute BREEZE! The Sales Consultant was extremely helpful answered all of my questions no matter how dumb, and the finish product was even more perfect than I could have ever imagined! If you ask questions, and are present through out the process you won't have any issues at all!

They are the best. We contacted them for our home project, and they allowed us to give inputs on the design. All our inputs were put into consideration, and today we have the home of our dreams.

Maintenance department are rude and unprofessional . They don't respond to the service request and the quality of the stuff by this company is horrible. I highly recommend anyone don't buy from this company , they are cheater , cheap, rude and unprofessional

Been in a Megatel for over a year. I love the house. All of the finishes are perfect - no issues. Very well built.

Run from them....even if means losing your earnest money. Their buildings look nice on the outside but the inside designs are old. They use very cheap material. The foreman we had to deal with at the Prosper Artesia location was very arrogant. Little to no communication. The agent, Melissa, we had to deal with at the time was a snake who'd make you feel like she's helping you but then go behind you to sabotage you. The people at the corporate office were no good either. Everything seems so micromanaged by the owners who only like to drive around in fancy cars rather than take care of business and customers. Never again! Be careful with Megatel....

Absolutely awful. They changed our closing date over a dozen times, we almost never had a build meeting with the same builder twice. Post build warranty items were almost never completed in a single trip, when they did show up. 5 times they were scheduled to come do warranty work, but no call no showed.

Examples of other issues include: They also forgot to properly disclose PID information during the sales process. The contract they gave us to sign as a different price than their agent quoted us, causing us to have to go back three times before they got the initial contract right.
