Megaplex Theatres Review

I have never been disappointed in service and product here. My wife recently bought tickets through the Atom app thinking they were luxury seats. Turned out they were not. Manager put us in luxury, at no extra cost, apologized for the inconvenience and we didnt even miss a second of the movie. Keep it up fam.

Also, integration with the Atom app has been seamless.

Was so fun..! Went with friends and had food that was amazing. You have everything around you.

Great theater! If you love movies this is the place to see them.

I love the megaplex theaters in general but this one has a really good selection of food and snacks for the movie! They are pretty fast with the service and always willing to help you out!

Its okay here. I really like the decor, but it kind of sucks for any event that needs audio or internet

This is an awesome movie complex where you can purchase entire meals, take them into your movie, and enjoy the show. Inside of this movie theater complex is a huge movie dining plaza full of different shops that provide a myriad of different food choices.

Had a couple of minor problems and management stepped up went above and beyond to fix the problem very satisfied I love this theater

Super crowded, had to drive around many times until someone left, other than that the inside is so neat. Love how the inside looks likke a cobblestone street with shops

It was so crowded. Wall to wall people. The screen was huge and the concept of the theater is adorable. Yet, it's not really worth the hype. I don't like being a sardine. I like having a little space to really enjoy the movie.

The movie was great but the customer service was horrible pretty special workers!!!

Really like this theater. Restaurants all around the common area, rewards card, pick your own seat, bring food in the theater... The only downside is the price, but that's the case with any first run theater these days. Matinee pricing is a little better.

Best concession stands and food of most any theater in Utah. Also very comfortable seating.

Title: They should of been more prepared on a $5 Special Tuesday! Missed almost 30 minutes of my movie to find out that I could not obtain a 9" pizza because they ran out of the dough. They did not fully refund me but partial refunded me for my order and gave me a 6" personal pizza at the end of my movie. Did not feel that the Pizza Hut team and concessions team worked well together that night, usually I get better service but it felt worse than a dollar movie theater treatment. Hopefully they get their act together as other customers were not as happy as I am, getting the same treatment.

I've been going to the Jordan Commons since it opened. Awesome movie theater. Always have a great experience. I always buy my tickets on Megaplex. Com it makes it really easy. I would give it a 5 Star but the price of their drinks and popcorn are getting way too expensive. Two drinks and a popcorn is 20 bucks

This theater is really the best theater in the area. It beats all competition easily. They offer a great variety of seats. There are normal leather seats, luxury recliners, and seats in the front row which are half the normal price. The popcorn is really good here, probably the best movie theater popcorn you can get. The atmosphere is really neat. It kind of feels like a cafeteria but like a luxurious cafeteria when you are getting your movie treats. The staff is always friendly. The movie rewards program is really good here as well. It beats all the competition. They also have a subscription service for movies which is a really good deal. They have a really great selection of movies. They offer all the normal movies with the addition of some of the smaller movies and independent films.

Awesome place to visit. It was like going to Vegas. They made it look and feel like your outside. The sound was great. Everything was wonderful.

the seats are terrible. Not only are they outdated, they are breaking. The overall experience is despicable and it is very obvious that management is not investing single dime into maintaining or improving this once beloved theater. This is a sad.

We saw a movie. The popcorn was burnt and we had to haggle for a replacement. Very crowded.

The VIP theatre was nice. The screen was smaller than expected but still very comfortable. I was shocked that when we were leaving the theatre there were no recycling bins to be found. I asked an employee if they had any and she looked shocked by my question. I am Canadian and there is a great emphasis on recycling where I come from. I am disgusted that such a large facility that creates so much waste does not seem to care to do their part.

This place has multiple areas to get snacks before the movie, but only opens one despite the number of people. You stand in line for 25 to 30 minutes while 2 people man the snack bar. The management here obviously has no idea how to staff and run a movie theater. If you want to eat, get to the theater 45 to an hour before your movie.

This is the second time I have been treated very poorly by the staff at the ticket booth. Both instances they were extremely rude and unhelpful. The last time was by a supervisor (whose name I did not catch unfortunately), she literally turned her back to me and did not say anything else- offering no help or suggestions/options- while I was with my sister who works at that very theatre, and had shown her her ID card! Very poor customer service. I was extremely disappointed. There are other theatre's close to my house that I will be going to. I have never had an unpleasant experience at Cinemark.

Prepare to wait in a long line for concessions!! If it is the Tuesday during the week between Christmas and new years, have enough staff to serve people!

Okay theatre. IMAX was disappointing compared to Jordan Landing Cinemark.

Poor service. Broken kiosk! Made me late for my movie after 30 minute wait for the manager to try and fix the problem.

Clean theaters and so many choices of movies to view

Always clean. Great employees to help you out. Many food options. The only thing you have to worry about is choosing a good show. However their price increase still makes this a pricey date.

I was very impressed by the friendliness of the staff! I misplaced previous bought tickets and with my receipt they were able to print off new ones with no problem at all. Plus they were very conversational with me, especially Goody. I was just very impressed and felt like my needs were heard.

Such a unique atmosphere, it's like a fair inside of the lobby. Huge theaters, awesome customer service, the only downside was in one theater I've been to the pleather seats were uncomfortable to sit in for the duration of the movie, and you end up sticking to them.

Very cool and very easy to get in. Theaters are clean. Its like a little city inside of a building. Its worth going!

Jordan Commons is my go to theater to see all the big new releases. The IMAX here is the best in the state, especially in sound quality. I highly recommend this theater to anyone who asks.

The Popcorn, holy crap the Popcorn so GOOOOD. Oh yeah and some good Movies too.

Pretty big and I liked how many dogs options the were. If I didn't live so far away, I'd gp the more often.

Has a ton of bathrooms for you in the maze of halls. Employee's are always nice. Would have given five but the last two shows I went to the theatre had nasty smells and not the typical you get with a ton of people and food like urine.

I love this theater! The epic scale and Tinseltown styling inside adds such a cool feeling to "going to the movies." I live half an hour away and sometimes it's just fun to make the extra drive to have an extra-special theater experience. Tons of screens, lots of snacks, and IMAX baby!!! Been to an opening day or two here and it's always a special atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Very expansive physical layout, staff at ticket screening & concession stand very affable & helpful. We come from an Easy Coast planned community where many people are open & welcoming. Staff @ this theater complex reminded me of home
Many other locals are in holiday mode- too busy or too mercenary, not your young staff. Congrats...!

The food choices here are the best of any theater I've ever been to.

One of the first imax theatre in Utah it has balkany levels and its got luxury seating as well as Xbox.

One of the better theater's in the valley and Theresa with special events is fantastic!

The environment is fun, while the quality is still decent. There are several food options besides just popcorn and nachos, so that's a big plus. Make sure you get the rewards card, if you frequent the movies you will easily accumulate enough points for free concessions or tickets.

Star Wars was great but the common area was so crowded you could hardly move it's probably not like that all the time but it was snowy Saturday afternoon what else can you expect

Good, but not as good as cinema because they don't have reclining seats.

I am very disappointed with this theatre and will not return. Not only was it designed with no regard for the disabled, the staff showed no concern. The doors into each theatre are very difficult to open for wheelchair users, they are narrow with a high threshold. And when I asked for assistance, instead of helping, I was told I need to go the office. This happened twice. Plus, I must used a closed captioning system. The first one did not work at all. Then, twice it was set to the wrong theatre room. In addition, I got a soft pretzel from concession but the first one was soggy, as if it had gotten wet. By the time I had a working closed captioning system and edible pretzel then situated I had been in and out of my theatre 5 times and missed the first 10 minutes of my movie. As I said, I will not return.

Huge cinema that looks like a little strip mall on the inside. So many concessions options. The tater tots are incredible and they serve hot sandwiches and gelato. Lots of options. The seats are very comfortable. It's just kind of out of the way when you live in slc.

Tiny tight seats. Did I book a flight on an airline? When every other theater is offering luxury seats at standard price. Commons is charging for luxury seats and shrinking their standard seats...

Great little movie theatre. Food isn't bad. I recommend the chicken sandwich or ice cream. Popcorn is always a movie favorite. Searing is stadium style so great views of the screen and IMAX as well.

I have been going to jordan commons for a long time and it has had its ups and downs. This last time was a very good experience. My only complaint is the prices for movies are getting out of hand. The best part was the 3D movie. The last time i went to a 3D movie was quite a while back and it wasnt very impressive. This time it was a big step forward. Give the 3D a shot if you havent in a while its pretty fun, although expensive.

I'm from out of town, so I don't know how well this place resonates with locals, but it is such a cool way to set up a movie theater. I'm all about it. The seats could probably use an upgrade to the more common recliner-style seats, but honestly that's a small thing. Super cool place to catch a flick!
