Megaplex Theatres Review

Still the best theater chain around (and my favorite location), but the service at the concession stands has definitely taken a step backward.

I want to thank Joyce for the outstanding customer service. Being that we are out of town and didn't know the area at all, we bought tickets to a theatre that was out of town. Not knowing that we showed up at the wrong theatre, Joyce made sure that we were able to transfer our tickets here. And we are so glad she did! This is a movie theatre of all movie theatres. A definite must see. Such an awesome experience!

Went to see a movie here for the first time last week, and while the facade and number of options were nice, getting a soda was not. The fountains at the theater snack bar didn't serve melloyello, but the ones at the self-serve kiosk did. However, the self-serve kiosk ran out of ice, all four of them. It wasn't even that busy, yet nobody had any interest in ensuring ice was available and just stood around twiddling their thumbs.

Other theaters around here have much better service.

It's a fun place good movies and relaxing place to enjoy time with your family.

Wasn't bad just a bit to much for a simple night out at the movies.

I love this place. The movies are not old movies. They always show the newest movies with amazing quality and prices. Food and drinks are served here at a good price. When buying your tickets you also get to pick your seats depending on the amount of tickets and people. The rooms are also a very good size so you usually don t have to worry about them not having enough seats.

My favorite theater to go to, except last time I went, we paid for the "luxury" seats, when we got there the theater had not been cleaned up there was garbage all over the seats and some dirty napkins and with this weather who knows what's in it. I carefully cleaned my seat and enjoyed the show. I expected a clean place to watch a movie though.

I like the Megaplex chain of theaters. Comfy seats. Lots of eating choices. $5 Tuesdays are nice on the budget. Provided you can choose a good movie they do their part really well.

This theater is a great place to go with family and friends whenever you want to see the newest releases on film. It also has great accessibility to food for a broad range of prices.

The new chairs aren't that comfortable. The main reason for the review is I'm sick of paying a convenience fee to buy online when it would save them from having to pay cashiers and no other industry keeps insisting on charging customers for nothing.

Always a great place to see a movie! The concessions have just the perfect level of variety. Two things to keep in mind 1 - it is always chili bring a jacket and 2 - they remodeled and made the seats closer together. Tall people seem really squished

Just getting tickets for the movie later, but was quick and easy

Have been going here since they first opened their doors. The lobby concessions and restaurants have changed quite a bit over the years, but it's still a cool venue to see a movie. Their IMAX theater is Ginormous and they have plenty of theaters, event rooms, and parking. The Mayan restaurant is no longer there (I heard it was too expensive to maintain, so now theres offices, and a Cold Stone Creamery. Best thing about this movie complex is its close proximity to the Sandy Expo (convention) center and Rio Tinto (MLS Real soccer) stadium.

5 dollar Tuesday is awesome! Lots of parking and nice theater seats and a variety of movies playing.

My boyfriend splurged and bought us luxury seats for 'Fantastic Beasts and where to Find Them" we had no idea that the seats in row h (back row in the center) would not have foot rests. We ended up paying a lot of money for normal seats. We went to the cinemark on 12300 and had a much better experience. We paid less than half the money and had much better quality seats. Will not be going back to Jordan commons.

Nice theater and it seems to have been upgraded since the last time I was there. The only reason I don't like is because there's an additional charge to purchase tickets online.

I'm sorry you pay differently online but find another processor. So lazy.

The movie Wonder Isn't Tim but the prices for popcorn and drinks is excess people should quit buying drinks and popcorn and maybe they lower the prices

Megaplex is such a great movie theater! They literally are a step above other movie theaters in the country. I always go to their theater first before I search any other movie theaters.

Watched Starwars in seat #d13 in theater #9, chair is broken, gave me a backache. Popcorn burnt....

The extra few bucks for the recliner seats are awesome

The theater was nice when new. It still is but they need to step their game up and update the seats at least.

This place is top notch! They have very comfortable seats and a great experience with huge screens and explosive 3D audio.

They have all the theater food you d expect but also have hand scooped ice cream.

The only thing I have found a little irritating is their movie choices seem lacking. About a handful of times we have looked on fandango to find a new more popular movie to watch and they seem to be playing in all the theaters except this one and they don t play here till later.

Amazing theater. Has tons of food and a giant food court, offers I'm ax or regular screens... to put it short, this place has everything I've ever liked in a theater. I do hate the parking, even with a parking garage it's rough to find a close spot. Plus this place offers $5 movie Tuesday and at the end of November they sell popcorn buckets that costs $3 all year to refill. They have t he same for sodas but I don't drink soda so I don't know the deal on those other than they have a deal with a megaplex cup. If you don't go out much to movies and you live close to here, not a bad place to take the family... especially on $5 tuesday...

Also on a side note, they charge a dollar per ticket online extra for buying them online as a service fee. However, if you buy a gift card with them and use that to buy tickets each time you go they wave the 1 dollar fee.

It being my first time at that theater I never felt so uncomfortable, employees were rude. When you hand someone something in their hand it's only right and polite to hand the item or change back in my hand, that didn't happen and also no thank you or welcome. Even the Customers there were rude. So I won't be going back there.

This olace used to be magical. Now they seem to only be money driven and have changed there food choices to almost nothing. I have no reason to continue to go here when i can pay the same price for better seats at a cinamark. If they would go back to how they use to be the customer experience first then the money i believe they would thrive again

My favorite place to see a movie! Love the VIP screen and the luxury recliners.

Can't wait for new movies to start coming out. But, we got to see something that we had previously missed and the hospitality was great.

Just.......amazing. Like the cinematic world in a bottle.

Where I look for first when I go out to a movie. Good theater where even the smaller rooms have large screens and good sound.

Fun theatre. Comfortabke seats. Good customer service.

Best Movie Theater EVER!!!! They have AMAZING Crepes and Gelato that taste just like the food on the streets of France. They have Pizza Hut, Cold Stone, Burgers, Mexican food, and Sandwiches. The decor is perfection for the ideal movie theater feel. Great Seats. Great Screens. Yummy Popcorn. I always choose Jordan Commons in Sandy. :)

It is so big and pretty and I can say that I will be going back there a lot more also love that every theatre has it's own experience but this one is over the top I loved it so much

I m so impressed with this theatre. All the employees were so happy to greet, help, and assist. Mr.Val is a phenomenal employee. The area walking in from the start, the theatre, and even the bathrooms were clean; well organized; stocked; and good to go! Thanks Megaplex!

I m so glad we found antoher theater with nice seats near us. The VIP theater there is a Mark Miller tribute to disgust. 5-7 commercials of his narcissism before the previews and then even more during the actual previews. I went twice and wanted to die. Ill never go back. And Ill never buy a car from that douche.

I was there for the Pride and Prejudice and Zombies screening. It was nice.

Always love coming here. A little expensive but that's to be expected. Love the atmousphere and the people are super awesome who work there. Always have a great time when I come here.

This is probably my favorite Megaplex. The interior is decorated well and has a "Main Street" look to it.

Always have been a fan of Jordan Commons. They always keep it clean and tidy. Movie was good to.

They give you bottom-of-the-barrel popcorn, don't dim the lights during previews, and then turn the lights on before the movie is over.

It's like you step into your own little town, really cool experience. The theatre was clean and the service was really great.

Love watching movies here. Like that I can preorder my seats, great concessions and so many movies to choose from. Theaters are always clean. My only wish was the newer reclining seats.

This is a nice theater! They have a huge selection of places to get food or snacks. The theater is very large. There was a ton of people and kids but you couldn't even tell because of how spread out they all were. The employees were all very nice and helpful. The restrooms were clean.

Saw an advanced screening of a movie, very large theater! Sat in front and was still comfortable!

Normally this is my family's theater of choice for lunch and a movie on the weekends but lately their services has really dropped.
For the last several times they have gotten our food orders wrong, which has caused us to either have to wait for them to correct it and get into the movie after it has started or just accept the food as is and be disappointed with not getting what we order.
This might sound petty but it can really put a negative vibe on what should be a fun family experience; especially when a child complains during the whole movie because they didn't get what they order.

Time to step it up Megaplex at Jordan Commons.

Nice large theater. Great seating, very comfortable. The employees are very pleasant and helpful. Nice big parking lot, tons of spaces close to the entrance.
They also have lots of food, snack and drink choices. If you want to see a movie, this is a wonderful theater to see one at!

It s amazing and wonderful theatre and cinema , it s like a home of movie it s a small city of movie I am sure everyone will enjoy there. Try it and you will used to go there so many times. I wish you all a wonderful and nice time there having a wonderful and good movie show.

The staff here is great. Willing to work with you and joke with you too. The staff is a big highlight to my bights here. Most theatures do not have reclining seats but the theatures are still nice. It's also close to trax so it is a great meet up spot for friends all over the valley. Will be returning soon.

I love going to the movies here. They have lots of theater and movie choices and Los if food choices. The coke machine have even more drink choices.
