Megaplex Theatres Review

My favorite place to go see a movie. Very comfortable. Love that they have the freestyle soda machines.

The staff is so helpful. We mistakenly got tickets for an earlier time than we thought and they exchanged them for us no problem.

I love this place because I love the big movie screen and because the bathrooms are close to the movie theatre

Would have liked to known that the luxury seats had a button to warm it.. First time there ....

Has a cold stone inside and serves food in the theater to be taken into the movie! Movies are pricey. It you get a great experience. They have 3d movies as well as movement chairs that are awesome for action movies.

Nice place, very large IMAX rooms with comfy seats. A little dirty as if the rooms are only cleaned every night but no bad smells and nice staff.

After being spoiled by the host of new Theaters with reclining leather seats, you do feel very close to the people next to you and not as comfortable as a more modern theater experience. That being said, the concessions and service are still top notch

Love going to LHM theaters. Don't like the competition at all. Prices are great and their seats are always in working order. Love the mega tubs and cups.

Going to the movie's is always magical you get to imagine your someplace else. The workers here are friendly & helpful. Very clean. We enjoy ourselves very much.

There are a wide variety of movies, the pricing is average, the seating is very comfortable.

Experience was great! The concession stand workers were incredible. One of the workers I believe his name was Brett had such great customer service skills and was incredibly helpful.

Try Cinemark in Draper instead. Megaplex theater service is slow. The lines are long and the seats are just ok.

Awesome place to see any movie. They have time off different food selections and the theatres are comfy but also epic. Pepper Potts dies in the end.

Great place. Really miss the restraint diversity it had even just a few years ago. Mostly concession places now.

Great movies to select from and great staff. Able to buy food and go watch a movie while eating makes it better. Seating could be better with more leg room and better seats. I have sciatica problems so my legs were bouncing around and had to change positions every so often and stretch my legs out. That's the only reason for the 4 stars.

Parking is kinda tough but the theatre itself is very nice. The staff are always very friendly and helpful as well!

If your looking for movie with seating options this theater is your place with over 20 screens they have seating to accommodate all. Luxury box that reclines and the legs lift to standard seating this movie experience is grand at Megaplex.

There are food court yard choices, that offer a variety of flavors from American, to Mexican. All are as you would expect from a fast food theater.

I recommend getting a frequent buyer card and collecting points to get the coupons that you get for spending.

You won t want to miss $5 Tuesday s either!

Didn't enjoy being solicited walking to the concession stand and even walking out of the movie someone approached us trying to get us to donate.

Great. Nice, clean, happy and helpful staff. I still get sticker shock when I look at the food court prices.

This place would have been really cool in the '90s, I would have gone here all the time as a kid. However now it kind of seems dated. The only good part about this theater is the wide selection of food available. In order to get more up to date, they're going to have to update those stadium seats to some nice recliners. It's either that or lower the prices and become more of a budget theater.

Went and saw Toy Story Four. Always a good experience.

The design of this building is to show downtown Salt Lake in the early 20th century. It's a fun atmosphere. Food and movie tickets are rather pricey. The theater and movie projection quality are excellent, though.

Lots of food options. The theaters are pretty nice but you have to pay extra for the premium recliner seats whereas other theaters are all recliner seats for the same ticket price.

I love coming to Jordan Commons. I do wish they would follow suit and get the reclining seats.

Went for opening night of Spectre. The protectionist was terrible. The subtitles were off the screen and couldn't be read. Also, the red and green color channels didn't line up, it blurred the entire movie and bugged my eyes.

On top of the terrible movie experience, the food lines are all way too long because they lack any real "fast" food. I don't want to wait 30 minutes for a burrito, just give me a burger in 3 minutes. Don't even get me started on trying to get popcorn...

Pretty cool, watched the war of the planet of the apes.

Favorite theatres. Adorable food (for a movie theater anyway), no bad seats in the theatre. Assigned seats when you purchase. You can host private fully catered viewings in plush VIP theatres.

I'm so happy to call this my "home" theatre. I love stopping by the in-house Coldstone Creamery and taking it in to watch the show!

Very nice facility, it's like being in a small town.

This is still one of my favorite theaters, but the logistics for concessions can been improved. On one visit, it took 30+ minutes to get food. Luckily, we arrived early that day. It seems that the theater is understaffed which may contribute to longer wait times for concessions and awkwardly placed ticket checkers.

There are other amenities that continue to make this place great though, such as the luxury seats (recliners). They are amazing! I don't watch a movie any other way now. And ticket pre-orders are extremely convenient. Also convenient, are the mega mugs. If you go to Megaplex often, get one! It's worth it.

Parking is also plentiful. Parking on the top, uncovered lot, is usually my go to choice. Hardly anyone parks up there.

I love this movie theater! It's like a tiny city inside. They don't sell gum here and they don't like to see people unhappy. A woman here gave me a piece of here own gum after telling me they don't sell it. She also asked me to refrain from sticking it to the bottom of my theatre seat. :) Good service and good advice.

I don't necessarily like to post negative reviews, and I've been here enough other times with a positive experience that I really hesitate to give the rating I just did. However, last night's experience was the worst experience I've ever had at a movie theater! There was nobody around to help, I waited in line at the concession stand for an hour to get from where I started the line to the checkout counter. While the line was long, the people were really slow. When I was a half an hour in to the line, I called customer service and spoke with Stephanie. She told me there was nothing they could do because they were understaffed and that nobody was there that night because I had all just worked the previous 4 days. I get it if you're short-staffed, but it's your job if you know people are hosting events and you have tickets sold to have enough people to staff your concession stands so someone doesn't have to wait one hour to get a bucket of popcorn and a water bottle. Otherwise I love Megaplex Theaters and have had a positive experience almost every time. The last night's experience was enough to make me never go back to the Jordan Commons location.

I love going to the theater scene new movies and always having great customer service four tickets booths and food booths.

Imax Jordan Commons seating is not comfortable at all. The seats that my husband and I sat in for Joy were hard and squeaky. Every time we moved they squeaked. Very annoying and embarrassing all at the same time.

This place is awesome, they let you bring your service dog and if the movie has a problem they would replay the movie and give free passes for another movie.

Very expensive for VIP but look for good deals online and coupons towards concessions

A nice place. I spent most of my time out of the theater chasing my grandson. I really liked the 4D seats he was able to try out. They helped me keep him entertained.

Probably the coolest theatre I have been to. It looks like a mall inside with all the stores being filled with food and snacks. Even a Cold Stones! The only thing I could ask for a change would be the seats you find at Cinemark theaters.

The theater we saw the movie in smelled like a bunch of sweaty people had been in there for a long time. Other than this the seats were comfy and good sound.

So I never give reviews on movies because they're so subjective to the viewer, this being said Mr. Rodger's was a childhood favorite show. The best part was an experiment to try the VIP theatre, our seats recline but had seat warmers!!! Definitely worth it.

Some movies start twenty minutes after show time, some start right at show time, so if you have a life it makes it really hard to plan ahead. You also can't exchange your tickets for a different showing after it's started.

You can bring your food in from local restaurants nice

Great place. Currently they are playing older movies. We saw Back to the Future. Was so fun!

There is honestly more leg room in an airplane! No exaggeration, I had to straddle the seat in front of me, and I'm pretty short. How awful!

This is a really neat place with all of the different food options. It feels a lot like Los Vegas to me with how grand it it BUT every single time I have seen a movie here I have had to ask people to stop talking. I really don't know why this theater has such an issue with this. Maybe it has to do with the fun atmosphere but I finally got sick of people ruining my movies and now go to another theater. I must say that the staff is excellent and are always very attentive. When I dropped a soda an employee got it cleaned right up and brought me a new one.
