Extremely high failure rate. I moved in to a new build 2 years ago which had Megaman Gu10 LED lamps installed. They started failing within 5 months of moving in. I ve had about 16 out of 40 fail within the first two years. I won t be using this company again.
20 GU10 Lamps fail in 24 months. I purchased a new house 2 years ago fitted with 21 Megaman GU10 lamps. Over twenty have failed some twice. This is a very poor product backed up by very poor customer support.
Useless. Hopeless. No service at all. I'd give zero stars if could.
The Megaman lamps I have (12) all failed within a year. I couild not find a distributor who could supply replacements and after three emails Megaman cannot give me the name of a distributor where I can get them.
I tried two of the distrbutors nominated on their website. The first said they don't deal with megamn any longer. The second did not know of the product I needed and suggested I call Megaman UK. Megaman said I need to find a distrubutor (couldn't suggest one) and order them.
Couldn't be worse. Avoid
Spoke with them this morning, was promised that they have a lot of products in stock with delivery time 2-3 working days. To order everything I had to go to electrical wholesaler. After contacting electrical wholesaler I was told that they do not have these lights in stock and I have to wait 3 months for delivering their product.
Do not waist your time with them!!!!
No stars. Converted house to full LED lamps, all Megaman. Very high failure rate and Company will not respond to you. I will not be purchasing anything from this Company ever again. System would not let me post with No stars so they are very lucky to receive one star. AVOID!!!!!!
I used Megaman to kit out three of our national offices. Service was excellent, delivery was almost immediate and the quality of product has (touch wood) been perfect too! I don t ordinarily write reviews, only done so as I like to spread good companies!
I have dealt with megaman for many years. On the odd occasion when we have had a faulty product the problem was rectified straight away and always replaced. I Have found the sales team very helpful and would recommend megaman to all of my customers as i know if any problems should arise they will be dealt with straight away, leaving us and the end user, very happy !
I Have used Megaman for many years and have always found their lamps to be a very good quality product and seem to have bought a lot of new reliable products to a flooded market place. Service levels have been second to none especially with their next day delivery
I moved into a new build flat 3 years ago with two dozen Megaman bulbs fitted. I ve had to replace at least twenty of these in that time. Absolutely atrocious and couldn t advise anyone against them more. The company will replace any bulbs for free as they must be aware how poor they are.
The range of LED lams are really good and I use them a lot, I recently started using Lightwave rf dimmers, they advertise them as LED compatible but it turns out that they are only compatible with Megaman lams! They say that installer should check the compatibility before installing but try and find the document on their website...good luck. I've used it with ansell titan downlights and the unit broke even though it was installed with their minimum and maximum guidance. Support refuses return as they reckon that it was installers fault. Small suggestion, dont advertise product as LED compatible with wide range of LED lamp, just say that it is compatible with 5 lams and anything else will damage it.
Very high failure rate,no customer service, OFT is my next call.
