Megafun Entertainment Company (Mövenpick resort & spa El Gouna) Review

Perfect for bathing and eating. Otherwise rather average. Touristy. Volume in the room was partly an impertinence. We had a superior with sea view. Would not I book again like that. Service in the restaurant was fast and friendly. The beach is not the world. Looks wonderful on the pictures, but it is not. The main restaurant often smelled terrible of rotten eggs. Probably comes from the lagoon, there is the water. Or wherever that stink came from.

Many & great excursions! A large selection, as far as the buffet in the main restaurant is concerned, I just miss a mark what, for example, vegetarian or vegan is, just as a gluten-free and lactose-free offer! The beach is beautiful, apart from the stones when you walk into the water, there are more than enough beach chairs, so you do not hang so close to each other. Similarly, there are 2 pools with enough pool chairs, through these 3 options, the guests share well and it is nowhere too crowded. Our room is a good size, there is enough wardrobe space and the bathroom is just great. The staff is very friendly and helpful, they are always on site for any questions. The spa area is great too and there is a good deal which may be a little expensive.
The only thing I really have to criticize is the gym, which has hardly any equipment, is very small and the devices are not new.
On the whole, I can recommend the hotel more than recommend!

Great hotel and large area with its own beach. Cleanliness, food and entertainment are very important.

Food with a sufficiently large selection, but the quality is more in the area of poor canteen food. Room outdated. Staff speaks only German, and unfortunately only slightly, everything is affirmed, but only half is understood. Only managers are really friendly, but that doesn't help much either. Overall bad for the price.

An aged Oriental place, I did not find particularly interesting in.

Vacation a little far from the tourist crowds. Since the region around Hourgada is a bit more extensive, everything is better distributed.
El Gouna itself is a private town that also has its own police force. Not only is it absolutely safe here, it's also beautiful. Despite that the lagoon city is completely artificial. The Labranda is one of the oldest, but also one of the most beautiful hotel complexes. The staff are super polite and not intrusive. This applies to all the locals there.
Overall, the facility is very clean, is well maintained and is located directly on the Red Sea.

Excursions can easily be booked directly from the hotel. Super Service.
This also means that if you have gastrointestinal complaints, you can be provided with medication free of charge at the reception.
Simply report to reception and enter your room number. Incidentally, no drinking tap water or sea water applies to all of Egypt! I involuntarily had to swallow the latter while snorkeling. So pack Imodium Akut!
I will go back again, it was just great (despite the Pharaoh's curse)! XD

To say the least, it's a mystery to me
That this hotel has received so many good reviews. We had us rebooked the next day with an extra charge of 320.00.
Room ok
Food is moderate in canteens
Pool is small and milky dirty
You cannot drink drinks e.g. cocktails
Pay for drinks all in only with a star
Staff are friendly but run around confused and unorganized.
The plant is hardly green, but we are planting.
Conclusion: they could give us 14 days for free to go on vacation here again, we would decline with thanks
And thanks again FTI, you are familiar with the problems and then rip the people off again. And tell your people upon entry that the visa costs 20.00 and not 29.00 what they charge and rip people off properly.
We spent a great holiday in the new 5 star hotel. Here we got to know 11 people who also let themselves be rebooked, who stayed in a Labranda Hotel and told stories that are reflected.

The best hotel I have ever booked. You immediately feel at home. We already know that we will come back.

We were in Paradisio as a family a week ago. The facility is well maintained and beautiful. The staff was very nice, polite and very concerned about the guests. The hotel may need some renovation in some places, but you can feel very comfortable there. Since it is a club hotel, a lot is done for the children. The food is good and everyone can find something for themselves if they want. The buffet is breathtakingly prepared for special occasions, such as Valentine's Day. We felt in good hands there and would love to come back again. Thanks again to all employees of this hotel.

I was here to Dine Around as a guest
from the Steigenberger Hotel and am
from the theme evening (there was an Asian buffet) not convinced. Who knows the Asian cuisine comes
not at his expense.

Had an excellent stay.
Nice room view, cleanness top, delicious fresh prepared food and high standard services.
Some improvement may be done with cocktails. Tried a Margarita and it was not good for my taste. By the way staff is confused if you order drinks that are not included in the all-in package. You have to argue to get it.
Music and entertainment is sometimes confusing. Arabic hip hop tunes for a public which is mostly over 50/60 years old.. seems misplaced.
Still worth 5 stars for my personal opinion.

We had a nice holiday! Especially to be highlighted is the friendliness of each employee! We really liked that! We were also helped with every concern! The food is very tasty and varied for us! The beach is great too! Small drawback was the loud air conditioning and we would have liked more bottled water! But that is not a minus point in my opinion! Therefore I can recommend this hotel! Thumbs up and many thanks to the entire staff! You are awesome!

Are very disappointed with the room and the unfriendliness of the staff. Some are friendly for tips. We are 9 times in Egypt and we have not experienced anything like that.

We had a good time there in September 2015. Weather was still great. From time to time people try to sell you stuff at the beach but they usually leave you alone once you declined.

The shows at night were usually okay, but sometimes a bad performance was given and people left early. But it was already off season, so we expected something like this. It was not an important criteria to us.
I really can recommend to have the three course meal at the beach restaurant. It is complimentary once a week and we could decide between fish and chicken. It was really great.

However, the regular all inclusive dinner was pretty good. Every night they had a different theme, e.g Italian, Spanish... They provided typical food for the current theme. We stayed two weeks and never had a theme twice. Some of the food I would consider as standard which was available every night (noodles, fries etc.)

A shuttle bus drove to el gouna downtown for about 1 one way. I don't remember the exact schedule but it was multiple times within on hour.

There is diving school close to the hotel but it is actually not part of the hotel. We went there for a few dives and could see some cool fishes, unfortunately no Dolphins.

There are couple of kite surfers at a separate beach. We usually stayed at this site of the beach as it was more quiet compared to the other beach. But that's just personal flavor.

A very hospitable resort. Is recommended for a short break. However, less for the main holiday. Staff very friendly. You have to like the food. Should not mean that it is bad, you just have to like it. The service was very good, the rooms and grounds clean.

I actually stayed at the Steigenberger Hotel, el Gouna, but have been to the Paradisio Hotel every day. The location of the hotel is great, as it is right on the beach. The beach is also very nice. I also find service great! Especially the program. The hotel is highly recommended.

I've been here for the third time, and it would be nice to be in bed sometime.

Delicious food, nice people and nice rooms. Always worth a holiday. We look forward to our next visit.

Animation is not bad, but lacked the variety, the program monotonous. The rooms are spacious and kept super clean. What I miss are drawers for trifles. The location is very good.

The rooms are spacious and equipped as standard. The area is clean and very spacious but unfortunately hardly any green. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The price / performance ratio is unbeatable. But in direct comparison to our previous vacations in Turkey, no comparison. A few more years will certainly go by. Apart from the food, which is really ok, the animation can be described as extremely expandable. Was similar on another property in Egypt 4 years ago. But really recommendable for those looking for relaxation who do not have to deal with the heat.

Very nice hotel and nice people. Delicious food in the Marco Polo restaurant in buffet form, prices are also ok. Everything very clean, I can highly recommend it.

We have been to Egypt several times, this is the first hotel we would want to visit again. The food the beach the staff the animation especially we really liked. And Christmas we are back.

We have just returned to the Labrandra Hotel and can not understand the review by Mr. Harald W. There is no hot food, and there is not a small selection of buffets. There are fish, turkey, chicken, beef and veal every day. We do not need any nibbles at the bars for a relaxing holiday. Who wants everyone to eat from ready-made snacks? We will definitely come back next year, as we can totally relax here.

It is Egypt so every visitor should be aware that here the clocks tick a little differently but you can expect a man to have a nice holiday.

A very nice facility right on the Red Sea .. Spacious rooms, comfortable beds and a nice cleaning staff who always provide you with enough water (you need to brush your teeth in Egypt, among other things) etc. But to be highlighted is the staff as well as in the service, animation and reception - attentive, always friendly always tried to do everything that you lack for nothing ... conclusion - I would love to come back ...
P.S .: Sorry, the kitchen is of course absolutely worth mentioning! Super delicious freshly prepared dishes - there is something for everyone ...
