Medstream Anesthesia of Asheville has an inept billing department. I received my first billing statement February 18, 2019 from a procedure that was done in October of 2018. I called them to see if I could set up a payment schedule and was informed that I need to pay the bill in full because they have turned me into collections. My advise to you, Medstream Anesthesia of Asheville, is to outsource accounts payable operations to professionals...Or file bankruptcy because you are incapable of collecting what is owed to you. Find a better way of doing business!

Medstream anesthesia sent my husband's account to collections without ever sending us a bill. When I contacted the collection agency they said it looks like medstream had the wrong address for you. I call medstream and they tell me there is nothing they can do since it is in the collection agency's hand now. Now we have to wait for this to come off his credit when it was their fault in the first place. Looks like this has happened to many of their customers if you look at the reviews. Horrible service

I mailed my remaining payment on 11/1 and they stated never got bill. I called bank and my check finally went through on 11/18. I have called them everyday and it has yet to be posted to my account. Evidently they have a billing staff that does not know how to post a check to the right account number. I even put account number on my check. They need to get a staff in there that know how to do billing. I hope to never have to mess with this company again. I am very displeased with them. I keep getting run around, but I am not double paying them. If this is how they do business they need to go out of it.

Similar story as what Lori ran into, never received a bill from them after my insurance settled with them until I heard from a collection agency for a very small dollar amount. Not the right way to do business this day and age. My first time ever having to deal with any type of collection agency, very embarrassing.

I called to obtain a cost estimate for an upcoming procedure and the person I spoke with went out of her way to not only provide the estimate but to explain options regarding my insurance to help make the best financial decision. She took additional time to explain things that I had not considered.

They sent a bill of $128 to collections. I had never received anything in the mail from them and was never aware of the bill until a collection agency called me. According to the collection agency, they didn't have the right address. So when I call Medstream, they say, it isn't our policy to make phone calls. Unbelievable! With all the money these places make, they can't afford to make one single phone call. I am so angry that company's can't take the time for good customer service!
