The two paramedics that came to my house to treat my insulin reaction were amazing. They were kind, attentive to my needs, and extremely knowledgeable about my situation and the best treatment options. I have never had such an amazing team from MedStar, and these two guys were phenomenal. Thank you so much for your service and going above and beyond what I normally see with Paramedics. Chris and Chris, You two are truly an example of great customer service.

I'm a recently retired registered nurse who was transported to Baylor All Saints before day Sunday 6/21/2020. Want to let the company and others know how grateful I am to the 2 young men that CARED for me. The manner in which they performed was exemplary!!
I hope I'm writing this review in the right place. But Mason and Isabella (hope I got the names right) were the best paramedics to handle my situation. I was needing a blood transfusion and needed to get surgery done for my pregnancy loss, and they were so nice and thoughtful and really put me at ease. It meant a lot to me and I want to thank them for what they do. They show that they actually care about the people they are helping.
Today we received Maderna shots (free) at Mt Olive Baptist Church in Fort Worth and senior citizens on Crutches and wheelchairs and Caned were forced to stand in seven and eight hour lines. There should be something done to improve this situation for April 9 second booster shot. We appreciated the three shots but it was really hard to see the elderly going through that process as it was!!
On site very quickly. Both John and Jordan professional, courteous, efficient, and extremely caring. They exhibited not just great "patient care", but CARE for the patient. Thank you to the entire Medstar family!
HH Nurse suspected a UTI, called the ambulance to take bedbound hubby to the hospital. After MedStar's examination one told us they didn't recommend taking him to hospital, that it was after all, a dementia issue. Nurse insisted, so I agreed, to take him to ER based on Nurse's examination. We waited 6 hours before the doctor on duty came in to see him. Meanwhile he sat in a wet pad, and, for 6 hrs he was left off his feeding tube! When the physician finally came I told him how long we'd been there and he said he was told it was a dementia issue, not, that we suspected a UTI!
I was shocked! Not only that they would accept the diagnosis of an ambulance driver but that ER employees didn't even bother to look at him or talk to us. When I had asked how much longer, I was told "a doctor would be here shortly"!
We were in a room directly across from the nurse's station and watched -as several sitting staring at their computers, and one had been on his cell phone! Clearly not understaffed or busy, especially as the next shift was starting to come in. Looked like a convention! The cell phone guy overheard our conversation with the doctor, and came over and said, rather curtly, 'I wasn't asked, so how would I know? IF you had asked I would have changed him'! No apology, just this defensive attitude! Extra pain to follow due to an aid of some description, without an ounce of empathy!
Now, after all this time they decided they needed a urine sample but had to cauterize him to get it. He was empty! It took a couple of days, but he was positively diagnosed with a UTI! What if we'd listened to that ambulance driver?
Business office needs some serious retraining on how to speak like a human. Extremely rude and condescending while talking over you. Didn't even verify HIPAA compliance by simply asking my dob.
