It's fine. It's the post office, you know? The people who work there are nice, if a little harried during the holidays. Approach and parking aren't too bad, and it's easy to get back to Richmond. There's a chicken and egg problem with angry customers and indifferent employees at POs sometimes, but they seem patient here. This location is fine, but the tracking and shipping tools the USPS has are antiquated and suffer a lot of down time, which sucks. TL;DR: This is the best post office in the neighborhood and you best shot for escaping with your sanity if you need to mail a package.

This Post Office on Greenbriar is the BEST! Keaundria and John were the staff members working today, and both of them are exceptional employees of whom USPS should be very proud to call their own. Both Keaundria and John go above and beyond to make customers feel respected and valued at the Post Office (a trait that is unfortunately rare to find these days - especially at other USPS locations).
Before going to the Post Office, I was not in a great mood, and I was particularly dreading my visit due to past experiences at USPS locations. I was pleasantly surprised when I found that there were two smiling employees at the front desk (and the line was short, which is always a plus). While Keaundria was helping me with my package, John overheard her searching for tape, and he went out of his way to find her some... Great teamwork! I noticed that they were incredibly helpful with answering customers' questions and treated everyone with utmost respect. Their positive attitude was contagious, as it put me in a better mood, too!
All the customers at this location said that the Greenbriar Post Office is the only one they will go to, because it is truly the best. I have had other positive experiences there, as well, so I can attest to this.
I hope Keaundria and John see this, because I am truly overwhelmed with gratitude! Thank you, thank you, USPS!
Automated shipping machine is down, without explanation today. A Sunday. Today is the entire reason you developed the machine. Also, this location stinks like a mildewed basement.
Good luck if you're ordering a package from amazon and happen to have a Saturday delivery date. You'll get "errors" like invalid address and end up having to pick up the package on Monday instead. This has happened multiple times.
I have yet to have them answer their phone. Ever. I have had this station deliver mail to me for 3 years now and any time I have ever had a problem, they have never answered their phone and have always exerted the absolute minimal effort in order to try and help once I show up. I really dislike writing reviews (this is actually my first one I have ever written) but this location absolutely deserves it. They are nice people but wow are they not running an effective business.
They leave a note in your mailbox saying you have a package at the post office but then when you go it takes them 20 - 25 minutes to find it. That is if they can find it.
I love this post office! The staff are always friendly, down-to-earth, and professional. Every time that I've been here, there has never been a long wait. I'm usually in and out in 5 minutes. Thanks for being such a great post office
I ordered two things but failed to put my apartment number so I called to try and track down my packages. The lady I spoke to was Ms. Adria (I may be misspelling her name). She was super helpful and we were able to find one of the packages and the other was delivered to the wrong address but that's the mailman's fault, not hers. She was great so the starts go to her and not the guy who lost my package lol
Second time my mail went on "hold" permanently. They seem to lose track easily and I finally realize they aren't going to deliver unless I go there and get it a bushel full) ???
I've always had very pleasant interactions at this post office. I've made a few phone calls to this office and found the person on the other end to be both friendly and helpful. If I have issues with packages being delivered, they are quick to find them for me. Honestly, one of the better post offices that I've dealt with.
By far the best USPS I ve ever been to period. The staff is always extremely polite and take time to help all customers no matter how simple or extensive the request is. Have yet to have one poor experience here and I frequent this location daily.
Most rude and disrespectful people I have ever dealt with on the phone. Zero help. Did not even attempt to help. USPS corporate customer service line even told me they could help me yet nothing but laziness from this location. The lady was rude and eventually just started repeating the same thing over and over to get me off the phone. DO NOT TAKE YOUR BUSINESS HERE!!!
Perfect service In 10 years of living at two locations in this zip code. The letter carriers are great people, who will go out of their way to help you.
I was at this post office yesterday. There were two people at the counter; a male and a female. The male was helping someone and I had to wait for him because the other person (the female) working the counter was sleeping. She was sleeping so hard they didn t want to wake her up. Rude!
I went first thing in the morning to return some packages with pre-paid postage. The employee waited patiently for me to get everything together, and even super-taped the packages shut so nothing happened to them in-transit. Great post office!!
Staff is friendly and the wait is never long. Usually in and out in 5-10 minutes when I ship a package. I ll be sad once we move and I have to find a different post office. They can be so annoying esp in Houston! But this place is great.
I highly recommend this place. They give you the best advice and help you to make the right choice for the service you need. It is good value for money.
Clean enough but if you re trying to actually mail out a package after hours using the self service machine and drop off box there s no way to actually drop off your package as there are no handles to open the drop box.
Absolutely THE worst post office ever. Not that any of them are run that great, clean or pleasant, but this is the worst. And of course, closest to my house. They lose packages, their "systems" are always down, they have no clue what they are doing - on the regular.
Oh, and they NEVER answer their phone, which they should, since I have to call ahead of time to see if they are open and running at full speed...yeah, go to another one if you can.
I was surprised at how efficient this place was! I was in and out within five minutes. The staff kindly answered my questions, and helped me ship my package. The gentleman that helped me was super friendly and made the stressful experience for me easy and fast! Go to this post office! Others in Houston cannot compare.
