After being a member with Medicash from 2002. We have received a letter to say that they wish to terminate our policy or move us to a more expensive one due to claims. It seems that if you become Ill on this policy and need to claim your loyalty counts for nothing. By all means if you think you will never need to claim this would be the policy for you. This company is not what it once was.

Don't know how Medicash manages to deliver but it does! Means I can access complementary healthcare as well as support for dental and optician's fees. Easy to apply and no fuss to receive reimbursement.
Excellent service and cover can't fault it for value. It would help if you could see your own account online giving your claims to date and the balance of your yearly entitlements along with the anniversary date.
My partner and i receive payments/refunds very late from Medicash. We everytime have to make a phone call to following up the process.
She had not submitted our claims instead generated excuses "bank holidays" etc.. She wasn't helpful. We never receive our refunds in 5 working days as promised by Medicash.
I invite Medicash to work its job properly, as promised and we don't want to contact Medicash every time! instead their admin/refunds team must complete the refunds in maximum 5 working days as promised!
Extremely disappointed with the service from Medicash, they claim to be "A Positive Approach To Health" but are very swift on blocking your account for a mistake on one claim form even when all previous forms have been completed to their standards.
When speaking to the team directly in regards to the claim and explaining in full the mistake I made they were very unhelpful especially with my circumstances at the time.
When I decided to leave Medicash at that time due to them not able to resolve the situation, their team did not advise me that I would not be able to return to Medicash if I wanted to reapply, which is a shame as a company like this should be able to advise customers on future circumstances if reapplying at a later date.
I have since contacted Medicash on two accounts to plead my case showing evidence and reasons around the original talks and ask for consideration of my reapplication and have an agreement moving forward, but it seems for a company promoting health and well being are unable to show compassion for a single mistake made on an account that has been following guidelines.
Really is a shame as would like to give a better review but due to this and their customer service not helping to resolve the case I have to give this low star review and advise other users to be careful.
Medicash for me takes the worry out of paying fort medical care. I don't have to worry about paying for dental and optical fees. When I couldn't get to see my GP when my back was bad I got an immediate appointment with an osteopath who sorted my out and Medicash refunded my fees .
My husband and I have been with Medicash for decades. Our parents were members of when it was known as the 'Penny in the Pound'. It has been invaluable this year as we have both had medical problems. Medicash has been there for us, thank you.
