An absolute horrible business. First in 2015 they gave me the wrong cpap machine and not the one my Dr. prescribed which was supposed to have heated tubing. However every time I ordered supplies they sent me heated tubing and not regular tubing the machine they gave me uses so I had to run by the local branch in Glen Allen and swap it out everytime. The heated tubing has a specific connector that my humidifier did not have since it uses basic slide on tubing. After about a year I was fed up and went to ABC Healthcare in 2016 but Medi-Home still sent me another wrong order the same month (07/16) after told them I had switched. I took that order and dropped it off at the local branch in Glen Allen but now 18 months later after being told that invoice was taken off my billing I am told I have an outstanding invoice for that order. On top of that I received an invoice in December 2017 for 3 months rental for Jan-April 2016 that they apparently made a mistake in their billing department & forgot to bill me but now want me to pay with late fees. Oh and the local branch In Glen Allen has now been closed. This has been an absolute nightmare so do yourself a favor and DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH MEDI HOME CARE!!!!!

I had been using another home health service that was unrealiable and hard to get ahold of. An answering machine that is full doesn't cut it when you are calling in a panic about your loved one. A friend who is in the home healthcare business herself suggested Medi. They were at the rehab center for my dad within an hour of my calling them to assess him, and that remained the standard through additional hospital and rehab visits to his death. Haejin, Jennifer, Chastity, Chaplain Don, Mark--everyone was so compassionate and reliable. Chaplain Don McMillan came the morning my father passed away to pray with us and even ended up stepping in and performing his eulogy when, at the last minute, our priest could not come. Many people have the wrong idea about hospice, but the people at Medi will educate you and be there for you throughout this horrible time.

1. Never call patient when she said she did.

1. Never call patient when she said she did.
2. Showed up loudly knocking on door
3. I slightly opened door and she said she was "Dr. Denise Foster..WARNING she is not a doctor! She has PhD. That means she did research and wrote a paper. Don't know what's about. But to portray yourself as a doctor is UNETHICAL. . That was the only reason I let her in.
4. Once in, talk about ADD, asked questions, but didn't give time for answers. Didn't listen to one comment I had with needs. She told my daughter things I didn't say. AGAIN, didn't listen because my daughter knew the correct answers.
5. I was told to get a dietitian consult I had to see a nurse. Ok I did. Warning, don't let anyone in unless they have an appointment and educated in your history. She knew nothing of my case. I told her to leave SHE REFUSED AND CALLED MY DAUGHTER THEN SHE LEFT. WOW

The "care team" took excellent care of our Mother in her final weeks, days and hours. The patience, love, kindness, care and dignity shown to her by each nurse, counselor and chaplain throughout the hospice-care period was a testament to the character of each of them. My family's deepest gratitude to each one.

Worst company to deal with. Constantly on hold or the system disconnects you. Staff is not helpful. I ve gotten 1 reorder call in 2 years, I always have to call them and they usually don t have what I need in stock. There are so many more problems but I don t have that kind of time. Been on hold 13 minutes after someone said please hold a moment. Not counting the 2 disconnections and 5 minutes holding before that.

First experience with a hospice provider. The whole team was responsive, knowledgeable, efficient but most of all compassionate. These people know their industry and provide top of the line service and , moreover, support to the family of the loved one . I can't say enough good things about this organization . Thank you Medi and in particular Mary . As I believe each one of you do for every patient you have, your team will all be in my prayers.
