Medemerge, PA Review

I had to bring my daughter in because she was having some allergic reaction to something she had come in contact with. The front desk helped me get registered fairly quickly and they were able to bring us back to an exam room. The dr came in shortly assessed the problem and they were able to give her shot to help stop the reaction. The staff was friendly and courteous and my daughter was a happy camper when we left.

My wife had a pretty bad burn and found their convenient hours and no appointment. Very professional staff was treated efficiently. Glad to have an urgent care for these types of situations.

Came in today because I could not get rid of this nagging cough I've had for the past week. Place seemed busy because of the line at the front desk. I was seen fairly quickly and able to get blood and x-rays. Overall staff was courteous and I was worried that I would lose my sunday at the doctors office but was in and out faster than I expected.

Recommended by one of my friend and after reading the comments got worried. However Great service provided by everyone from Enrollment till the end as they say recognized for quality care. Dr. Ahmad being good professional in listening out to issue and gives correct guidance and assurance... thank you. Happy Thanksgiving

Doctors and staff always nice to my family. Can always count on Medemerge to take care of the family!

They mislead the Public. They do not do Rapid PCR test in 3 hours. The 97% accurate PCR test takes 2-3 days for results. You can get this test anywhere. If they tell you its a 3 hour PCR test , they are misleading you. Go somewhere else for the test. You can get this nasal swab done anywhere. I wasted 4 hours and 45 minute drive for a test I could have gotten at any CVS or local Med Emergency location. The Covid Test they perform has a 90% accuracy.

Needed rapid COVID test. Arrived around 10 am, waited in a line to the front door for 10 min, then a nurse took my phone number and told me to wait in my car for 30 min. They call you back and let you inside to wait in line for 5-10 min. Fill out a couple forms, give them insurance card and ID, then they tell you to go out to the tent in the back. $65 for the test. They test you, then reviewed quickly by a doctor and they tell you to expect results in 3-4 hours. Overall, about 1-1.5 hours total, everyone was nice and friendly.

...BEWARE... I took my daughter and myself for Covid-19 antibody test, they said it's free, my insurance company said its free but they charged me anyway for somethings else to steel from my insurance company and from myself..

Nice place to go for urgent care but watch the billing. There is an out sourcing and an apparent lack of communication. Have been fighting a bill for 6 months in which I was to not to owe anything as per my insurance. Medemerge will not take you unless you pay your co-pay yet some how they did not have a record of it. Thank goodness I paid with a credit card and had proof and was able to send my insurance records as well to show that I could not be charged anything extra.

Open hours changed due to Covid19 , however nobody changed the hours printed in the door. People waiting outside based in hours printed in the door and clerks inside didn't make any effort to tell people waiting to go somewhere else.

Great experience so far. Dr. Carrieri is excellent. One of the nurses called me today, Suzanne, and she was out of this world. She was nice and friendly. No complains so far.

They will charge you $120 for NOTHING! The doctor sees you for less than a minute! DO NOT GO HERE TRUST ME!

I've visited the facility in Green Brook several times over the years for myself and my two sons, I've always found them to be courteous, clean and knowledgeable..The fact that I have never had to wait for more than 15 minutes is also a plus..

One Stop Shopping...Actually, I take my health / self care quite seriously and Medemerge fits superbly well with my needs. They are incredibly thorough and communicative. Something acute, I head to the clinic side...My doctor, well, the wonderful Dr. Sgambelluri! They are efficient in their waiting time as well!

We've had numerous pleasant experiences at this facility. I imagine that the low rating is due to the fact that people are more likely to complain than they are to compliment.

I went for the same reason for months n everytime was given antibiotics.. it was due to yearround allergies!! All this time wasted!! I had to do my own google search on my syptoms n i saw an allergist where i was tested and cme out allergic to alot of things around me everyday!! Im getting the treatment i need now.. they should have knew i had allergies n it was so simple to just prescribe zytrec instead of antibiotics and anti inflamatory inj n meds which never helped!! N since i see a different doc everytime they dont agree or change what previous docs ordered or diagnosed!!

Went with my husband for covid test yesterday. Every person we came in contact with was so nice. They said it was a 90 min wait for test and sure enough it was exactly 90 minutes when they took us. We went in and didnt even have a chance to sit down they took us right to the tent, swabbed done. Would def recommend.

This place is great in the sense of how they offer bloodwork and Pap mears right in the facility. They are pretty quick with calling you to a room, the nurses I've had seem pretty knowledgeable. However, do not expect them to call you if something is wrong with your bloodwork.
I made an appointment with the cardiologist weeks after receiving treatmemt there. They never called me to tell me that my thyroid gland was producing too much hormone. When i called them to see how soon I should come in for second bloodwork the guy over the phone was very unprofessional about the whole situation.
I find it hard to trust them so im driving two hours to my old doctor for the second opinion.

Avoid this places on the COVID test. , the people in front desk are rude and not competent
Outside they are 2 lines for COVID patients and to the doctor visit but when you go inside it gets one line for everyone- it s terrible!

Dr. Sharon really takes his time with his patients! He is friendly and welcoming. Dr Sharon and his assisting nurse Heather make a great pair, they are very detailed with there consultation and make you feel comfortable.. I received two shots from heather and they were quick and painless... Also, if you need blood work drawn nany is amazing! I didn't feel a thing and I usually get dizzy but she made me feel extremely comfortable and talk to me through the whole process then before I knew it we were done.

Normal waiting times in the waiting area, but once inside the wait sometimes is more than half an hour. The doctors have always been very professional but curt, with a few exceptions. I find this place no better or worse than similar ones.

The entire staff at Medemerge is VERY rude from the front desk to the nurses, pa s, lpn s and doctors. They are very impatient. I had a pa walk out the room while i was still talking and she clearly showed she was annoyed with me. I wouldn t recommend this place if It was the last place on earth open. They also will make you feel extremely uncomfortable as if your wrong for coming to the doctors. Everyone in there needs to look into another profession if they don t have the patience to educate ppl on what they re coming in for to the fullest of their ability with the best attitude possible. The entire building needs a sensitivity training course on how to handle patients. I pray they experience something similar so they know how it feels.

Medimerge gives me a peace of mind only having a good doctor, competent nurses and a modern, well run facility provides. Dr paul popeck is a gifted doctor who i couldnt trust more. He gave me new asthma medicine that works without making my heart race, flu and pneumonia vaccines and inspired me to lose 64 pounds this year. I feel so lucky and free of the worry of not having a great doctor to turn to.

Horrible believe me run away from this place u will be here for hours and get every test known to man its like being on another planet its not earth nothing on earth is this bad please trust me its not like anything u would believe unless u witness it for yourself u will feel like ur going to die any ratings over one star r fake or r friends of these monsters .if you want to experience absolute torture than I reccomend this place the doctors all hate u and think you r dirt but they will take ur money anyway and the atmosphere is absolutely horrible I wish I could give less than one star because 1 star is far too high .please please please avoid at any cost

I have been going to medemerge for over 15 years. I would never go any place else. They know there stuff, and if the doctor does not know, he has like eight other doctors in house for a second, third, fourth or fifth opinion.
What a plus to have all those doctors to discuss your case while your waiting. What a great concept. The only problem is im getting ready to retire and leave the state. What will i do???

Place only cares about money, how many they can get in and out per hour. Rudest front desk staff on earth and patient damaging policies when it comes to medication. They're only there to scam funds from Medicaid and Medicare. Avoid this place like the plague it is.

This place is set up like a mini emergency room without the wait. Got blood and a chest x-ray with results within one hour. So convenient.

Had relapse and glad they were able to help over the phone. Really another reason to LOVE this place!

Felt very safe entering the facility to get tested for COVID. Lines seemed long but that was due to the office having social distancing marks and doing temperature screenings before going in the office. Staff was friendly, I was placed in the room after check in. Doctors explained multiple options for testing I needed results quickly for a surgery and was given that option. I was informed that testing labs are backed up with samples and result time vary but my requirement for my surgery made me eligible for the same day result.

Very surprised that they pride themselves on no appointment needed/walk in. Traveled 1 hr to get to this place because I needed a rapid COVID test. We arrived at 7:50 AM on Saturday, just before they opened. Went to the front door, they took down our name/number and told us to wait in the car until they call you. 2.5 hours later they STILL haven t called us. After all said and done, the whole ordeal took 3.5 hours. This office seems to be severely mismanaged and unorganized. They were unwilling to run the insurance properly so now we have to battle the insurance companies for reimbursement. $120 for the office visit and another $65 for the rapid test. To top off, one of the nurses was walking around improperly wearing a mask with her nose exposed.

Friendly staff, knowledgeable and fast! What more can you ask for.

I have been going to Medemerge for over ten years. I don't need an appointment and most times I don't have to wait too long. The staff is friendly and the hospital is always very clean. If I have a serious problem they have x-ray machines and lab testing on site to help the doctors make their diagnosis. When I go to Medemerge I always ask for Dr. Lyalya Strumkovsky. She has been my primary care taker the whole time. She is awesome. She is very attentive and actually listens to me when I am telling her my problem and immediately knows what to do. She has a way of making you feel safe and confident in her care. When I bring my daughter she always wants "Dr. Lyalya" because she is very gentle with her. She is the only doctor that can give my daughter an injection and not make her cry. Amazing!

Was told that psychiatrists were not real doctors and they couldn't refill my medication in an emergency. If I hadn't gone to Family Care on 22 in greenbrook I'd be in serious trouble. Some medication isn't meant to be cut off but weaned down. If I could give zero stars I would. All of my family members have switched to Family Care and do yourself the favor and do the same. Waiting 3 hours to be talked down to by a doctor is not medical care.

I brought my son here to be checked out before we flew back home and they were fast and thorough. The staff was super nice and overall had a great experience.

I took my son to Medemerge because he had a temperature and was vomiting all night. He was refused from being seen because we left his insurance card. The receptionist told us we could pay at a cost of $139 for him to be seen which did not include like lab work and everything had to be paid on the same day. Unbelievable turned a sick child away. Never again.
