Medemerge, PA Review

I have been going there for 40 years and had no problems.

Thank you for what you guys are doing. Must be overwhelming to see lines all day and be able to treat all your patients with kindness and respect. Was able to be seen fairly quick despite the lines. I wasn t there for covid so was able to get my refills in less than hour.

I've recently moved in the area and Medemerge was recommended to me by neighbors. I've gone twice and find the staff very professional and understanding. The office moves pretty fast. The doctors are very professional and listened to my complaints. I'd recommend them.

Paid copay and got called immiedietly to the room, waited 50 minutes and walked out. The entire staff was standing around when I walked out doing nothing. Called me 10 minutes after I left to see where I was. Waste of time and money, slow staff.

The wait time to be seen is excellent
In the 15 pluse years i have used them never more than a half hour wait most times in less than 10 minute . They do the necessary testing i get the needed call backs my rx is called in with no issues or lag time. For those people that claim the wait time is long remember its a walk in clinic they have no control of when people come to them .last time i was in an er at a hospital it was a four hour ordeal . No complaints about medemerge from me

Great place to GET covid If you want to get sick. They don t implement any social distancing had someone standing two feet behind me in line to get tested with no mast on. Plenty of people with masks just covering their mouths or totally off. Arrived 15min after opening and waiting 3 hours after giving them my number to call when it s my turn to get tested, waiting 40min after that to be sent inside to a packed waiting room of people waiting to register to get tested for covid (waiting seat 2ft apart at most and no where to get 6ft away from anyone). None of the staff are asking people to social distance and allowing crowding inside the building. I m told to wait inside until I m called and will he sent outside for the one person testing everyone to test me. Taking everyone who might have covid and sticking them in a room together along with the elderly people here to get normal medical help seems to be their game plan. Just got done after almost 5 hours

Only reason I m giving two instead of one star is because I was here before and it was not being run like this

My experience so far has been great .. Glad I switched and my doc is awesome and caring ! Plus the staff calls me to make sure how I'm feeling after my visit .. !!! Def will give 5 stars !!!

I don't usually take the time to rate any places, but I wanted to just say how great this Medemerge is. I have never walked out disappointed or not getting the help I needed. They have friendly and professional staff and Drs. Also they seem to always have enough staff. I have never had to wait very long at all. They have been great every time.

horrible... i found someones wallet and it had a prescription from their location so i called and offered my phone # to help the poor lady get her wallet back(which we all know how it feels to lose a wallet).. they refused and said with an attitude "call the police" like they would be able to do anything. just thought i was trying to do the right thing

I've been going to this place since I was a little girl, however today when I went I was told that I could not be checked out for a twisted ankle that happened at work, which was quite understandable yet absurd because there could've been a way around this. As I was walking out, clearly angry, the women at the front desk had the audacity to laugh at me. I was shocked. They lost a valued patient. Too bad.

Better than going to the ER. I would only go here for simple things sprain, sore throat, etc. Pay only doctor office co-pay. They are open Saturday and Sunday which is a huge convenience!

My wife and I have been coming here for over 25 years. We now have two kids age 17 and 11 and take them here as well. We live 10 miles away, with 2 other urgent care facilities 5 minutes away but, we still choose Medemerge as our primary care facility. Dr. Popeck is our primary but, all the other Doctors, Nurses, PA's etc are all very capable.

They have treated us over the years with nothing but courtesy, professionalism and expedite care. Their office hours and walkin without an appointment, are worth the 20 minute drive alone. I have nothing but positive things to say about this place and will continue to use them as long as they'll have me. Thank You Everyone!

Fast testing for Covid-19. Wait was about 1.5 hours (they put you on a calling list so you don't have to wait in person if you don't want to) and got results in 2 hours. Very much worth it and impressive considering the volume they are processing.

Horrible! Overcharged my mother because she asked for an earlier appointment then hung up on me back to back after trying to understand why!

I have been using Medemerge as my primary care for many years. My medical history is complex and I trust the medical team to handle all my concerns. It is very nice to see many familiar faces when I go there. The nurses are always friendly and the charge nurse has personally helped me with a medication issue. I needed a referral and was able to walk out of the office that day with my referral. Top notch doctors and I have also seen several of the PAs. I am very pleased with the care I have received over the years.

The nurse that was calling in the patients were very rude and didn t let me go in with my husband even though I wasn t told any point that I couldn t be with him in the room. He needed assistance in remembering what he needed to ask the doctor and I wasn t just there to take up space. She then proceeded to tell my husband that I had to wait in the car but never specifically told me that in the end showing that it wasn t a big deal that I was there. The nurse then proceeded to stare at me while I was there and no one told me to leave at all. If they were so worried about having people in their lobby they would ve told me to leave but they did not in the end making me wonder why she specifically targeted my husband and I. We were only the people she asked if we were both getting seen and I sat in the waiting room for more than 30 minutes hearing how she was treating other couples and letting them both in and not asking if they were both getting seen. Horrible place wouldn t recommend.

I have to wait long time to see a Dr..when he came wait 5 minutes with me and then he leave... what kind of Drs they are

Medimerge is taking advantage of the current covid virus situation. They are charging $98 for a televisit script renewal that tooktook 40 seconds.
Labs were done at labcorp and results were given over the phone via medimerge prior to televisit. I had to pay them, then wait for a physician to call me, which was in 24hrs. He asked me if I had my results and I replied yes and he had them and he proceeded to say oh yeah, you are fine and I will call your script in. That cost $98. No, inquiry to how I was doing,, did I have any problems, nothing but good bye. There should be laws in place to protect us from price gouging such as this.

I have been going to Medemerge for 16 years. I have always found the doctors to be caring and professional, However, tonight was the worst experience I have ever had with a medical professional . I had never seen this doctor before . Dr. Devajaran was cold, rushed and made me felt as it was a bother to him to be there. I felt belittled and left the office in tears. When you go to a doctor you expect to be at least treated with professionalism and usually at Medemerge you get a lot of compassion, too. I received neither today and am very surprised that this man is allowed to treat people like this. On a positive note, Michelle the nurse was wonderful as always.

Came in today because my daughter fell off her bike and needed to get her leg checked out. Came in and it seemed busy but we were seen and and got x-rays faster than some restaurants get you your meal. Love this place for emergencies!

I have been a patient at Medemerge for 30 years. The doctors have served me well through a variety of health issues; some serious and some minor. The on site testing and x-ray facilities are convenient and provide real time information that allow the doctors to recommend treatment quickly. The ability to see a doctor without an appointment 365 days a year is a plus which allows me to make visits at my convenience.
I continue to recommend this practice to friends and co-workers for many years.

I made medimerge my primary, because they are so good at what they do. The staff and the doctors are great. Hardly any wait time.

I have been going here for years - probably at least 20 years- and so have my sons. Love the staff and doctors. It may take long sometimes, but it s because they spend time with you and care about their patients. It s not about giving you a script and throwing you out the door. It s about really listening to what s going on with you. I won t go anywhere else.

Went here to get bloodwork done and I ended up getting talked to rudely and questioned on my political views, management didn't seem to care.

Don't try calling this place. Have called 8 different time, and tried every extension and no one will answer.

This place rips people off...Brought my son in because we thought he might have dislocated his elbow. Xray result came back was fine. The doctor came in and had him did a couple of moves with his arm and then declared it was fine. Later on we got a bill for "Treat Elbow Dislocation" for $1251 even though nothing was really done (with insurance it still cost $537). I have called them 3 times to challenge this bill and they still won't change it.. This has to be the most expansive 10 min doctor visit I have ever went to.

I love this place, close to my work. You never have to wait, and the staff is very professional... Thanks...

If you want great service than I recommend going to Summit Medical Group or any other place than Medemerge. The ONLY downside about Summit Medical Group is that on the weekends they close at 5pm which is ridiculous.

Not only is Medemerge disorganized but they'll keep you waiting for 15 minutes in a room and that's just to talk to a doctor. Maybe another 10 minites so the nurse can come in to do the bloodwork. I was waiting in the room for maybe 20 minutes because no one told me that they sent my perscription to the pharmacy and that it was okay for me to leave. The doctor didn't even tell me which medication he would be prescribing for me. The doctor didn't say how long it would take before I would start to feel better.

I generally enjoy using this place but unfortunately, my last experience was horrible. I came in because my regular doctor could not fit me in until September. She advised me to come here and tell them exactly what I needed. I dealt with a male PA who 1) didn't know what a very common "lady" issue was and ran out of the room to ask someone or google it. 2) he seemed extremely embarrassed and tried to just "textbook" talk to me about it. I honestly found it a bit funny and just figured he wasn't used to speaking to young women medically about their anatomy. However, he refused to give me the medication I requested, claiming "it's not used for that." I explained repeatedly that I was SEVERELY allergic to all antibiotics and that the particular one I asked for was the ONLY one I could take and has been given to me by my regular doctor before. He still refused to prescribe it for me and basically didn't believe I was that allergic to that many medications. He told me that it was uncommon for anyone to react to the medication he was going to give me and I would be fine. Within two days, I was completely covered in hives and almost landed in the ER because my reaction was so severe. I reached out to them to inform them and they still refused to give me what I asked for and proceeded to give me a prescription for another medication I couldn't take! When I called again, the nurse I spoke with told me that the PA never included my allergies in my chart! Unfortunately, now I have to go to another doctor for steroids because my hives are not going away after being off the medicine for 3 days.

Terrible organization and communication. Plan to wait about 3 hours after you "check in" i.e. give your phone number. They don't do appointments and they give terrible time estimates. Once you finally get called, there's another 30-min wait, inside, to get to the counter. You'll end up paying two times if you want rapid results. The first time at the window (insurance/copay) and an additional $65 for rapid results when the nurse brings you to the room (most insurances don't cover the rapid results). Otherwise it'll take 7-10 days. I will never go to this site again.

I hate going there. Feels like I'm just a number and they don't listen to my concerns. And what they think something is.. That's it.

Wow this place is efficient. When you see a line I expected somewhat of a wait. Once we gave our phone number we were called almost to the exact time they told us. So many people needing tests and lines are long but the staff is doing a great job. Thank you for your hard work.

I went in because my throat was swollen and i could barely speak. All they did was check my temperature, did a culture sample and gave me antibiotics. The very next day im feeling worse. I realized that they didnt even take my blood pressure nor did they do a blood sample as they've always done in the past. I called back the next day and spoke to a nurse to tell them i was feeling worse and said to me that they were too busy yesterday to do any of that to come back in today and pay another copay and basically roll the dice again with them. The staff maybe nice n courteous but i feel that they don't care for you as a patient because they are too overwhelmed. They need to take their time with each patient to assess the problem and not just get them in and out as soon as possible. If i could i would rate them with no stars as per they have done this to me once prior and to other people i know. Yes it is my fault for going to them but they should treat everyone as a patient and give them the time they need to find any and all results.

Came for Covid testing long lines but all the other places have lines as well. Chose Medemerge as they seem to be the go to place in the area. I drive by everyday on my way to work. Came early before opening and was seen and tested and on my way by 830am. Everything is explained and options for the no fee testing and rapid testing for $65 are given. I was just testing out of concern so opted for the send out test. Should get results in 3-5 days .

Horrible service. STAY AWAY. TOOK ALMOST THREE HOURS TO GET A COVID TEST partly because of almost complete disorganization and line cutting. If you fear for your safety go somewhere else, prices also outrageous (200+ dollars for a covid test). Felt it was extremely disorganized with people cutting lines and staff doing nothing. They get everyone into the building without triaging people with symptoms and people without. I would AVOID THIS PLACE unless you want to risk getting COVID because everyone is herded into the building whether sick or not sick. Could not get a direct or honest answer about the cost. Charged 120 for "an office visit" that consisted of 15 seconds of seeing an MD and one or two questions about why they need a covid test. Charged another 120 dollars for covid test and then getting the results on paper were a nightmare. Asking the staff for transparent pricing and they keep giving me incorrect or different prices. Four phone calls later and a day later we still do have it and cannot fly without it. THIS PLACE SHOULD BE REPORTED TO DOH AND STATE FOR MEDICAL FRAUD AND DANGER TO THE PUBLIC HEALTH.

Very good and affordable medical attention. Got 12 stitches after cutting myself with a piece of glass. They only charged me $200, whereas a hospital emergency room would have charged me $3000!. The doctor and nurses were very nice and attentive. They really take good care of you. Definitely recommend to anyone that needs medical attention! Thank you so much guys

When you come to the place if know you know any staff member for what i see they have vip.. i come and i see alot of people not doing line.. and not waiting ... i been waiting at the moment for over1 hour to see tbe doctor on room number 8.. ask a staff member for the doctor she ignore me run away... over two hours to get results this place is a Joke! Dont waster your time go to a real clinic

Wait for over 3 hrs. Then had to come back next day to see the doctor. On the following day which is the 3rd day , was waiting for a call from the nurse at home for over 2 hrs. Had no choice but to come in to see the doc again. Then the nurse called. Was just fustrated.

They diagnosed my husband's blood clot in his lungs as bronchitis. He almost died.

Rip off. They will tell you on the phone that they accept Oxford health plan. Make you wait 3.5 hrs in the parking lot. When you get to the counter, they tell you that they are not in network because you have another primary care doctor. Who goes to Medmerge to find a primary care network? Classic bait and switch. Go to another walk in clinic who makes appointments. You ll save time and money.

There doctors are horrible, service is crap, and the billing department what a JOKE!!! Sending bills 5 years later and when I called to find out why the billing department was soo rude and mean, she couldn't answer my question what i was seen for just that I owe some bill that was from 5 years ago and they sent me plenty of requests. when I asked why hasn't it gone to collections then? its been 5 yrs? No reply !!!!! bUNCH OF CROOKS watch out!!

They are dishonest. They have been billing me for services they said was already covered. Make sure you get in writing if they claim a service was free.

Im extremly afraid of getting my blood drawn but was put at ease by a caring and extremely professional nurse. No one likes or chooses to be sick but glad that Medemerge is good at what they do!

Called on the phone asking about a COVID test. Was told that they have the rapid test available and it would take 2 hours for results. They also said that the normal test would take 2 days to get the results. Packed up myself and my two children to go get a test. Took the test and then was told that it was 3-8 days to get the results and we didn't qualify for the rapid results. Now, I'm on day 13 after the test and still haven't gotten my results back. How can you tell someone that it takes 2 days on the phone, and then 13 days later, there are still no results. No wonder COVID keeps spreading, people can't afford to stay home for 2 weeks waiting on results for a test.

Had to find a doctor a late hour yesterday because my daughter came down with a high 104 fever. It was our first time here and the doctors and nurses were so attentive to her needs. I ve always heard great things about this place. It seemed busy but we were seen in a timely fashion.

This place is a rip off for a rapid covid test. Other places don t charge $120 for a doctors visit unless you are positive & need consulting/prescriptions. Don t go here because they are taking advantage of you.

95 dollars if you don t have Insurance forget about it

Doctor and nurses are very very nice and profesional Im giving them 2 stars because guy at counter profiled me when taking my wife s info (if it was not profiled then it was laziness or ignoring me to talk to us but if that was the case he should ve stayed home and not ruin other people s life)

Been a patient for years. Always helpful and responsive. Staff respectful. No better or worse then most other family practice docs. Appreciate the availability and hours.

Had been struggling with a nagging sinus infection and nothing over the counter would give me relief. Glad I came in and got some bloodwork to find out I was really fighting a bad infection with a high blood count as the doctor said. Overall the visit was quick and the staff from the desk to discharge were very nice.

I love going to Medemerge urgent clinic because the are efficient with time and treatment. I have been going there for over 25yrs because is very convenient for me. I won t change anything except that now with Coronavirus pandemic there is a long line to get in.

Today I had such a bad experience. The doctor I was supposed was going to be available till 3pm. I was in the premises by 2 .30 pm. Initially was in queue for 20 mts and in the reception for 15 mts. They charged me in the front and I did tell them that the dr will leave please inform her. But no one said anything to me. They made me wait for 20 mts and upon asking then she said the doctor has already left.
I do not understand if the doctor is not available then why they are not informing the patients that the doctor is not available they do not value time and the Upercusor is so rude then what do you expect??I am so disappointed with Medemerge..

Very nice staff .. I felt very comfortable bringing my son and myself .. It was a quick visit .. But very thorough !

We drove over an hour to get tested. Called beforehand and they said they closed at 6 and we should come. We arrived and 4 and they turned us away because they said they finished testing at 1:30!! we are in The middle of a global pandemic and you guys want to stop the spread, yet you re turning people away that were exposed. I needed to get tested asasp we were exposed to someone that had it and needed to know because we ve been around so many people. THIS PLACE SHOULD HAVE ON THEIR WEBSITE THAT THEY STOP TESTING AT 130. THEY TOLD US TO COME IN AROUND 230 AND THEY STOPPED AT 130!! They should have let us know they stopped testing an hour earlier before we came in this is absolutely ridiculous. Places like this are the reason covid hasn t stopped spreading. Absolutely ridiculous.

Very unprofessional front office staff. When you have already been there and spent $120 out of pocket plus another nearly $50 on meds so you call back because the antibiotics aren't working on a diagnosed infection, you get told a nurse will call you back. Guess what? When you call back the next day you are told the message was sent to the dr and they will get back to you 3 days later. This is not against nurses or doctors there but the staff who answers the phone. Terrible.

Wow! This was only my second visit to your office and again the care was excellent! I had a follow up visit today and also needed a referral. The woman at the reception desk checked me in and also said she would check to see if my referral to a specialists was ready. She was able to hand me my referral and even offered to assist me if I had any problems with the referral. My follow up visit with the doctor went well. Just wanted to say what a nice, friendly experience I have had at my visits from the time I registered to when I left the office.

Been coming here for years since both my schedule and my husbands are crazy, we love their flexible hours and range of services in one place. We see Dr Popeck primarily and he is THE MAN!! Was in this week with a rip roaring upper respiratory and really worried about being able to fly out for my business trip in two days...Dr P (as always) took the time to really listen to my concerns, assess symptoms and develope a treatment plan for my specific needs...THANKS DR P...it worked and I'm good to go!!! Would highly recommend the medemerge team they are always friendly and thorough no matter how hectic and busy they are (which is the norm)

Came in for a Covid test for travel requirements. Needed to time it so the test was withing 72 hours of my flight. Staff was pleasant.

I turned up here around 9pm needing 3 sutures in my finger. From the reception staff, to the nurses, to the doctor all were pleasant and engaging ....... and most importantly looked after me.

It took me around 1 hour which compared to.an emergency room feels like express service but like all of these places they have their peak hours and non-peak hours

I can say about it is that the wait time is very minimal. They get you in & out quick. However, they never call you when they said they will with results. The place needs a little update, looks dull. It gives a feeling of being a little dirty & run down. The doctors have been pleasant, no problem with that. Also, they do everything in house. Don t have to send you anywhere else for anything. They do have to work on their prices though. They are too expensive for people that don t have health insurance or have Medicaid. The billing department needs work.

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Staff is nasty and rude and no one does anything about. 1-2 months ago my husband had a routine physical done here. Today he went to get paperwork completed stating that he just completed a physical. He was told that he needed to CHECK IN as a patient, pay a copay and they will charge his insurance in order for him to receive the paperwork today. OR he can wait 7 business days. He spoke to a CHARGE NURSE over the phone regarding this SCAM LIKE issue and she hung up the phone.

I went there with the flu. They did the traditional nose swab, but for some reason they took my blood and urine. After about an hour they finally said I had the flu. They then prescribed me Tamiflu and an antibiotic for some reason. We had asked if there was anything we could do for my wife as she had not shown symptoms yet. They said no and sent us on our way. A couple days later we went to a different doctor, not at Medemerge, as my symptoms had not improved and my wife was starting to have symptoms. They checked to verify I did not pneumonia and confirmed that my wife now had the flu. The doctor than told us she may have not contracted it if they prescribed her a preventive dosage of Tamiflu. I was furious as we explicitly asked them at Medemerge what could be done and they said there was nothing, if she gets it, she gets it. I will never go there again and make sure that my friends and family don t go there in the future. You have been warned.

Even though has partnered with RWj(which is so convenient for us employees of RWJ) there are new faces , some Dorctors really need to work on their bedside maners,and time spent with patients, sadly i had to tell the Doc what to check and thank God i did bcz i had an infectiin; otherwise, they were discharging me already. Next day with my son the wait in the room 40 min...the doc came in rushing spent less than 5 min and seemed annoyed, now this is not professional, every patient deserves attentiin with the right time and to be courteous, after all this place is opened thank to patients, so with this being said i really hope for a change.

Staff is friendly, they would not set an appointment so signed in to wait said it would be two hours asked to wait outside and they would call. They actually called in 45 min. They take temp checks to go inside, once inside looked like a long line to check in but went quickly about 20 min with about 15 to 20 people ahead. They are vary busy on a weekday and see many people for various ailments. They are also performing covid 19 testing so this is most likely the delay and additional people waiting.

Great service. Great hours. One advice: please do not pay by cash at the front desk. I visited it last year and paid a typical cover for a visit by cash. It was my mistake that I have lost the receipt after a year, and now they claimed I have not paid the cover. Although the money is not much, it showed their management team did not do the job right. When I called the billing office, the lady maintained I haven't paid and kept asking for a receipt. Common sense is that had I didn't pay for the tiny amount of cover fee, I would not have been able to come into the exam room.
Regardless, I recently made a payment for something I already paid. I would recommend you pay cover fee by credit card instead of cash in case of dispute. Medemerge, please get this together and fix it.

No idea what happened with the costumer service in this place. I never had an issue until today. I had to wait more than 1 hour to attended by the doctor.

I just moved into the area and glad I found such an accessible group of doctors to help with my ailments. So far each staff member that I have encountered has been so caring and concerned with my needs. The young girl that took my blood was so gentle and talked me through the whole procedure while I had my eyes closed.

Found out the hard way I now have a shell fish allergy. I had never been to this walk in clinic but was very impressed and happy with the doctor and nurses! The lady at the front could of been a lot friendlier but all in all very happy with my experience there with most of the staff.

From the moment I entered Medemerge Greenbrook I was assisted by the front receptionist with a smile that will brighten anyone s day. Next I saw the most wonderful nurse Heather, who explained to me step by step on how we are going to fix my broken finger. Nurse Heather then sent me to see The X-Ray technician Mike who has to be one of the coolest guys. After my X-Ray was done I saw doctor Popeck, who shared with my finger was not broken, however he had a solution, which may or may not work (nothing is guaranteed) he gave me a shot and help straighten my finger back. I tilt my hat to Popeck because my tolerance for pain is pretty but I hate needles and he spoke to me to get my mind of the matter. I left Medemerge feeling great not because they help fix my finger, but for that fact that they were very easy and flexible to talk too.

Very popular with the locals. Everyone is very pleasant, iv been coming here practically my whole life (24) and my family has also. No bad things to say, even have our own doctors we love to see, when we have to anyway.

I had an awful experience checking my son in Sonia L took my co-pay. Then she told me my insurance was not current, I knew I was and she would not offer any help what so ever she just refunded copay. I asked the girl next to her to help she made a call and verified all was good. Family care is a mile away, go there not here.

My wife and I have been using them for over 7 years now and have recently decided that neither of us will ever go back there. It has been getting progressively worse. Every time I am there I have to wait a minimum of 1.5 hours just to see a doctor, then usually get stuck another 30-60 minutes before I can leave. I have been misdiagnosed twice now and the last time my wife was there she was misdiagnosed also. The company they use for billing (Atlantic Medical) is constantly billing the wrong insurance company... the lady from billing that is physically in medimerge is great and will really do everything she can to help but that doesn't help the fact that I am still trying to get Atlantic Medical to correctly bill for a visit from 6 months ago.
The doctors blow in and out as fast as possible and I personally always feel as if they're only half listening. As I said, after being a steady patient there for over 7 years, I will never step foot in there again.

Considering their insane Covid testing workload, they're very customer oriented though their logistics are not there yet.

Was told I could have Covid -19 nasal swab testing (I was asymptomatic, needed it to return to work as I am a Registered Nurse) , with no visit since I wasn't sick and no charge. Front staff was inefficient, they sent me a bill and charged my insurance in addition for a visit. Bad news.
Update: Medemerge has since returned my payment as they had originally said I would not be charged. I respect they do the right thing.

I go here often to see Dr voschell (and others) . They're always busy but are always good with time management. They're very understanding and willing to work with you when it comes to insurance/payment. They accept NJ Family Care which is great! Compared to most places that take family care, medemerge is a step above the rest . It may not be the most beautiful place but it's definitely well organized, clean, and most importantly, helpful.

I took my son (<1yr) to Medemerge and did not like my experience.

1) Poor history and physical. Also nobody introduces themselves. The physical exam was only on heart and lungs; they did not check ears, nose, throat which is required in a younger pediatric patient. Even if it is a just a well visit, my pediatrician at the very least checks all these things.
2) Incorrectly diagnosed my son. I told them that he had a croup-like cough the previous night and the PA seemed to dismiss that history and I was told that he had bronchiolitis.
3) With their wrong diagnosis, they didn't treat according to guidelines. I followed management on uptodate. Grade 1A (highest recommendation) against use of oral bronchodilators. They gave my son albuterol, a bronchodilator.

I did see they had poor reviews but decided to give them a chance for myself. It's maybe worth going if it is something run of the mill (stitching, x-rays, bloodwork, etc.) but I would recommend avoiding this place, ESPECIALLY with pediatric patients. Children are not little adults, send your kids to a pediatrician. I went to mine the same day and as soon as she heard him cough a little she knew that it was croup and properly treated him.

Also on a side note, I didn't mind seeing a PA but if the history and physical is poorly gathered then how is the doctor that the PA reports to supposed do his/her job correctly? I've worked with PA's previously so I know just like every other field, it varies with the individual but this experience made me wary.

So quick and convenient...have been coming here for over 25 years!

It all depends on the luck you have of who happens to helps you at the time. I played phone tag all day long with them and eventually they told me that I could be helped over the phone to please come in, I drove over super sick from a far distance away, just to be denied care once I arrived. Was literally told WE DON T WANT TO SEE YOU AND HUNG UP ON ME!! Yet there have been times that they re been super helpful..it s all On luck I tell you..

The place is poorly run... I ve been to multiple testing centers (CVS, drive-thru clinics, etc.) and Medemerge is pretty much what you d expect - an overworked staff, minimal testing, and poor service.

They tell you to call to register if you have symptoms, but then the line automatically hangs up on you. I ended up scheduling a test elsewhere.

Apparently they bill you $65 for a rapid test, and another $120 for a doctor s visit.

Unless these guys aren t getting any funding, I would think they re turning it into a cash cow - not investing (in more staff and tests) but making $200/head.

I have been using Medemerge for 25 years, Most experiences are good. I have had a couple of incidents where I found this place to be more concerned about getting patient payments vs providing quality care, I was very surprised as I know that Dr, Pilla and staff are excellent physicians. But on more than 1 occasion money was more a priority than patient care. for example I came in with a severe asthma problem and was told I owed $100 and should ask a pharmacy for over the counter medication if there was a problem. More recently I visited medemerge and asked if I needed any prescriptions filled. I did n't but when I did I called to ask if they could be refilled and was told to come back in and pay for a visit. This happened again today. I was there on 10/29 and got a prescription filled. I called today for a refill and asked to come in for blood work. I offered to do this in October and was told it was not necessary, Now I can't get the prescription and am being shaken down for another office visit fee. Maybe a mistake but it seems like the priority is $$$$

Always prompt with registration and seeing a doctor. Everyone seems to be caring, professional, and the Physicians/Physician Assistants are very knowledgeable. Whenever outside testing is done, they always inform you of your results in a timely manner. Having such flexible hours are truly helpful for any patient. I would highly recommend this practice.

Went to this office for an emergency visit. Pleased with treatment and staff was caring and friendly. I like the care and availability to walk in with no appointments I am switching primary care. This will be my new go to facility.

Way better than going to a walk-in urgent care or a full fledged ER. Most doctors here are pleasant and very knowledgeable. The individual attention given to every patient is the highlight. I had gone in for back pain and Dr. Garg took very good care of me. They have X-Ray and many other facilities on site which is really convenient.

Recently my daughter needed a referral to an asthma and allergy specialist. After playing phone tag the referral department said they would fax it to the specialist if we left the fax number. We called the allergist and they did not receive it. I called Medemerege and told the woman on the line I needed to talk to someone , not voicemail, she was not very kind at all. We had a half hour until the appointment and she said we could not talk o anyone because they are too busy and they couldn't take my call so we went there to get one and my daughter was told she needed to see a doctor to get one. When she went in the doctor didn't do anything but get the referral and we missed the appointment
. There was no Examination and wasted our time and the doctors. The staff is very nice except for this one woman who is not very nice and not helpful at all.

Dangerous for health. My father is out of blood pressure medication and request was submitted 1 day before from CVS pharmacy about alternative medicine as they are out of stock and till now no response from medimerge. Stay away from this place.

Medemerge was good before when they were affiliated with previous but now the doctors want to make money here I just went for a cough and they want to take x-rays and perscibed me antibiotics well I wasted money there but waited for my primary doctor and when I visited him he said you did good and not took the antibiotics just over the counter cough syrup helped but again it depend which doctor you get.

i've never been, but this place charges 220 for a COVID test if you don't have insurance (need it for travel).I've called so many other places, nobody was as much. Making money on the pandemic.

I ve been going to medemerge since I was a kid. Doctor Sharon is a legend!

Testing was very quick and efficient. Joe was the one who helped us when we got tested which was great, he explained the procedures and made them very straightforward. Be on the lookout for that guy!
