I booked 2 broker loads with Summer Goodman; Very dishonest person; One cotton load was delivered to incorrect Whse and we were aware & okay of the $250 deduction. Second load 2 weeks prior to that was delivered to correct location and she also deducted $250 for no reason. That was very dishonest! Specially during this time when carriers are struggling to survive. Taking advantage of others is an abuse.
these people are a joke please don't haul for them please please you will be frustrated beyond your imagination. we picked up a load for them from Laredo TX and the lady who face to us (megan) didn't even sent us the address until the next morning and when we asked for it she said you can leave the load I was a little bit worried by her tone just for asking for a rate con then things went downhill. they didn't sent us a rate con with the right info so we called back and men the insults and cursing started all along am wondering all these for just a rate con fix.
when we got to the receiver she called and I said is our rate con ready oh boy she called all the f words you can imagine plus a guy called Sam he was as rude as I don even know.
am sorry for anybody who has to deal with these group of people but I hope they don't last too long.

Laughing at these idiots I had a yellow truck down in Laredo tx parked in front of the security guard the female broker asked where was I I replied I'm at the shipper where you sent me she says there looking for me so I chk back in again I waited 2hrs and called the broker to let them know I wasn't being loaded she replied there busy and I'd have to wait or I could just leave the load so after being there for 12 hrs I get loaded what a joke then she tells me I'm going to c@s wholesale ok so I find out my appointment is 12 noon I called the receiver to verify appointment and they don't even receive at that time also I couldn't get in the gate until 2hrs before my appointment time which was 3pm so I did like the broker said got there at 12 security let me in at 1pm the broker told me since I was on time they would pay me 25 an hr starting at 12 till I checked out at 5pm load was delivered asked the broker for a revised conformation sheet never received it and then they email my company and threatened to charge us 25 a day if we didn't go ahead and bill them needless to say I have my own company now and I will never pull for these lying rude crooked deceitful thieves again as all the replies I have read said steer clear of them very poor business people

Malek, Mary were very helpful especially when we had tractor issues. i would recommend using them . They truly care hard to find in this business anymore.

I've worked with Medallion for a couple of years now. My money is always right and that's the only thing I'm concerned with. I've actually never been disrespected on the phone talking to corporate either, now that I think about it. What's important to ya, cuz they will work you til you drop.

Bad experience. They refuse to provide address until they speak to the driver and then refuse to give pick up numbers until you arrive at the shipper. They give no indication that the load you are picking up does not match with the destination on BOL. as a result I could not get in touch with the receiver to inquire about an early delivery possibility. They withhold critical information that is necessary to do your job. They also assume things and get short over the phone.
These guys look like they re padding their reviews and STILL have a low rating. Look at Kestas review from four weeks ago. Now look at the response from owner and the email address provided. Finally, you can find a five star review FROM THAT SAME PERSON 9 months ago. I ve never worked with these guys, I was just sent an application. I check out reviews for companies before I apply, after the fiasco at Wider Group(stay away), and it took all of two minutes to put together that a review was left by a person who was also responding to reviews. Super sketchy. I ll be staying away. Also, five star review from the same person trying to recruit me. Seriously?
I have been moving loads for them for about 2 years now, they have always done right by my drivers , and have always jumped on any issues that i had a shipper or delivery.If i could i would move loads every day for them

Booked a load with Malek R before at 8:20 am sent me a rate con, told me driver need to call for dispatch hour before pickup, and the apt was 2 pm. They told to my driver they send me the addresses, I never received it, I tried to call to this dispatcher, all the time other dispatchers answered on the phone, and told me they already dispatched other driver.... and we wasn't informed about that. He locked our truck for 4 hours without informing us if some issue or not, and now not picking up the phone. I don't recommend doing business with this man, and doing business on this way can only make negative impression to this brokerage.
Former O/O. Only 4 stars because no such thing as a perfect job. I have been with Medallion for about 20 months now. I made good money last year and I am home on every weekend & hoping this year will be better than last. I'm in the dry van division. I know Medallion has some corporate loads (never hauled one) and some agents have some brokers they work with on the regular and get good paying loads from them. Freight rates so far this year are way down from last year. Overall the management is on top of things. When there's a problem with payroll ( it happens just being realistic) they get it straightened out by the end of day on Friday and deposit money into your account. Alan & Deborah are awesome in helping with company repair loans to get necessary repairs for unexpected breakdowns to cover cost and payroll deduct what the company loaned you stretched out over several weeks. I would definatly recommend Medallion to other O/O's to lease to.There will always be people who you just cant please,whiners and cry babies (haven't you heard? Truckin ain't for sissys!) and that's where the negative feedback comes from. I don't know anything about the company's brokerage as far as getting loads from them all my freight is pretty much originates from loadboards.
If there's anything I would want to see different from Medallion is to establish a large customer base generated by the company for dry van freight for the agents to pick freight from. Loadboard freight is hit and miss and having to negotiate rates with brokers is very time consuming and just a huge game.
I would like to see Medallion start a self dispatch system where O/O's can find and negotiate their own loads instead of going thru an agent.
Medallion's CSA score has gotten pretty high in last year and honestly I think they should clean house and get rid of the shi* heads here who just cant seem to get how to do things legally and keep up on their maintenance on their trucks these drivers are the reason the CSA is high and they make the O/O's that do the right thing "ALWAYS" look bad. I was pulled over a few days ago in OH for random roadside inspection by DOT officer, he said to me your not in any trouble you didn't do anything wrong I just ran your company's DOT# and it's high so that's reason for the roadside inspection. He did his thing and long story short there were no violations and he shook my hand and said keep up the good work. If your looking for a good honest company to run for give them call for more detailed information about them don't let the BS negative reviews discourage you from leasing here. I have been driving for 37 years including my 8 years in military this is a very good company to work for. I left do to medical issues had to take a local driving job.
Can I give -5 stars? These people are a joke. They are LIARS and CHEATS short paid us $300 for a day late delivery when we clearly communicated that our truck had different address on the bills that's why he was running behind. They know we won't take them to court over $300 so that's why they keep doing it. They have no trucks or equipment as they are only paper pushers. DON'T USE THEM AS THEY KEEP SCAMMING LOOK AT ALL THE BAD REVIEWS..

We booked a load with them with 1pm pick up appointment. The truck got there on time and was loaded at 8pm. We requested detention and we were promised we will get paid. After 3 weeks of going back and forth about it with Malek Robertson and Jack McMurray, we were told that there will be no detention, since the shipper is first come, first served. The rate sheet clearly shows 1pm appointment and no one ever told us that it is FCFS. This is super unprofessional and total legal scam. Medallion Transport and Logistics doesn't value the relationships and they are willing to burn a bridge for less than $100. Think twice when booking freight with them. Companies like that are the tumor of the industry!!!

Broker called my phone over 10 times on the way to the 1st stop. No PO numbers provided on either loads that I had to pick up. No destination provided. Will only give the pertinent information when you arrive and when your fully loaded to head to final drop destination. All stops and drops state the hey HAVE TO BE ON TIME , arrive for a 10 am delivery...broker again lied delivery isn't til 1 pm. Stay AWAY from this company they lied, and play the better good for themselves. Dont haul loads for this company!

They gave me a work order on 7/22/2014 with the shipper listed as TBA. I was given the shipper information after I asked for it. When driver was at shipper they told him he couldn't load the freight.
The broker was very rude. She said, "That's not even where you're supposed to pick up!" Her office personal gave me that information for pick up. I even kept the emails to prove what kind of children work there.
I'll never do business with them again. They're a medallion alright, just not the gold medallion. More like a medallion of crap...

Wasted my time today booked a load with Mary that weighs 30,000 they wanted to load 42.500. Be aware not an honest brokerage wasted 5 hours for nothing. Mary told me sorry even though she knew what the weight was to begin with guess what sorry does not pay bills. On top of that no layover or detention pay.
I rate this company one star due to employees such as "Malek Robertson" who are sadistic liars and bullies. They misinform, laugh in your face and show zero respect towards other people. Worse than TQL.

I recently took a load with this company from Montgomery, AL to Bethlehem, PA. The broker's name was Cam. Before I took the load, he was extremely nice, however, after taking the load, I called him due to a 4 hour detention my driver had to sit through. His attitude and demeanor were completely changed. He was incredibly rude and completely dismissed my concerns and said there was nothing he could do for me. Furthermore, when I booked the load it was to be delivered in PA, however, the paperwork said Texas. Cam said to have my driver go to the nearest truck stop where he would fax over the corrected paperwork. It cost my driver $14 for all the faxing and Cam said we would be reimbursed. It is now a month later and this has yet to happen. I am not upset about the $14 cost, what upsets me is being lied to and having to pay for something that was not our fault. When I called the accounting department to be reimbursed for the fax, as well as the detention time, the woman I spoke to was also extremely rude and smugly replied "we only pay the drivers what the broker tells us to pay."

This Company is Pure JOKE....Medison (Broker) she is rude as Hell....NEVER will I ever do another Load with them.....After I book the load she would NOT send me a complete rate of confirmation. They wanted my Driver to lie to the shipper that this load is going to Lerado, TX, when infact this load was going to VT. 1PM appt, my driver was there at 11am, then she said the appointment is 3pam, to say the least he finally got loaded at 7pm. & then the BOL does NOT match what they put on the truck & she will not correct it...So we unloaded their freight right away and refuse to haul this freight anywhere... Not to mention she called me every F word and the B word.... and she said I am reporting the you guys stole the freight. I have NEVER seen anything like this in my entire life. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS BROKER.
It's sad to be treated worse than dirt, especially when we are all in the same line of business. Dispatch booked a load with "Madison" whom was using an email that belongs to "Cam." This person is a female and was extremely rude. She called back asking for our driver's location after we had already booked the load. My dispatcher told her the driver was at "New Springfield, OH." She started acting like she didn't understand him, he spelled it out for her and she kept giving him a hard time which was clearly on purpose. I get on the phone to see if she would understand me better and she rudely asks for a zip code. I tell her that the city should be enough but i can google the exact address for a zip code. She immediately starts saying that she will not allow us to lie to her company and says "guess who just took you off the load?." I am pregnant, and as you may know, my hormone levels are sky rocket so i proceeded by calling her a racist jerk. This Madison, Cam or whoever hides behind those names is insane. Really, no need to make a show if you found someone else to give the load to for a cheaper price, be honest, don't be so unprofessional and uncivilized. I called Corporate to complain but of course, they could care less.
booked a load at 8am with Malek Robertson who said he was the manager. He sent the RC with no addresses and asked the driver to call once empty for the disp info. At 1 pm my driver called they said there was an issue with the load and is not good to go. He never bothered to tell me. Wasted my driver's and my time and refused to compensate. He knew all along because his colleagues told me he was supposed to send me an email earlier. When I asked why he didnt tell me he said he was in an important meeting. My driver's times was not important enough for him to let me know.

The dispatcher was extremely rude when trying to deal with them. Their truck drivers are unwilling to communicate what's going on in the duration of the load and I would not trust this company to haul your freight.
