I have no idea how these people got my disabled son's name and my phone number, but they called a couple of months ago claiming to be the new suppliers for his pulmonary treatment equipment. A couple of calls to my insurance company and the actual supplier, Advantacare, showed this was nonsense. Unfortunately, when they called, my wife simply handed the phone to the nurse on duty, who assumed everything was legit, and that's probably how they got his doctor's name. And that would account for why a box from them showed up on my doorstep today, which the (different) nurse on duty unfortunately opened.
Now I have to get all this nonsense straightened out, and take the trouble to ship their crap back to them, AND get the doctor's office to not send them prescriptions anymore.
THIS COMPANY IS FULL OF FRAUD AND DECEIT. DO NOT USE THEM NO MATTER WHAT. They practice dirty, dirty tricks to get doctors to sign for orders that patients never requested. If patients don't agree to let them send orders to the doctor for supplies the patient usually doesn't need, like braces, diabetic supplies, etc. they simply harass the patient with phone calls until the patient finally gives in just to get the company off their backs. Several of my patients have reported up to 5 or 6 calls a day from this and other companies like them. NEVER USE A SUPPLIER OUT OF SOUTH FLORIDA, OHIO, ETC. STICK WITH WELL KNOWN TRIED AND TRUE SUPPLIERS LIKE WALGREEN'S, CVS, ETC. WHO WILL MAIL YOUR SUPPLIES RIGHT TO YOU SO LONG AS THEY MEET A CERTAIN AMOUNT OF COST AND DIABETIC SUPPLIES ALWAYS MEET THAT AMOUNT. When it comes to these people, steer clear and JUST SAY NO. You have no idea how much headache these companies cause patients and their doctors alike. I should know, I'm a doctor in Alabama.

Jan 14, 2015 (Reuters) - U.S. FBI agents on Wednesday raided the offices of Med-Care Diabetic & Medical Supplies Inc, a Florida medical device company whose executive vice president helped inspire the movie "The Wolf of Wall Street," according to a Reuters reporter and other witnesses.
The reporter saw dozens of agents from the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Florida Division of Insurance Fraud, and local police around the site. Witnesses told Reuters the agents earlier closed entrances to the building that houses Med-Care and removed boxes of files.
In 2014, a former Med-Care employee filed a complaint in federal court in Florida accusing Porush and the company of engaging in Medicare fraud by using aggressive and misleading telemarketers to sell unneeded medical equipment to patients.
