A fantastic night at the 'grown up' panto. Great cast and a laugh a lot night of entertainment.
Pantomime is always excellent! So funny and great for everyone.
Superb theatre with great variety of shows plays etc.
Lovely little theater. Clean and well presented. We watched The Little Shop of Horrors. Good atmosphere, good sound, good production and cast. More people should be supporting great venues and events like these.
Fabulous theatre, good price, friendly staff and brilliant show.
Really enjoyed the local panto lots of belly laughs
Good provincial theatre. Well organised and professional staff who obviously have a great deal of passion for the theatre. A highly enjoyable evening
Just the best pantomime ever. The scouse bloke who plays the dame is funny, savage and brutal. Love love love it.
Saw Prince tribute ..Mark Anthony and it was brilliant. Great performance and a very enjoyable evening. Bit rsque and a few of the audience offended but if you know Prince you should of expected it...wouldn't be tribute to him if a clean show!!
I always enjoy my entertainment at the Mercury Theatre.
Ideally located with over the road multi storey car park. Intimate and comfortable theatre to fully capture a performance.
A great theatre in the centre of Colchester, easily accessible. The theatre always outs on fantastic shows, with really good talent. The seats are comfy, plenty of leg room and every seat has a great view.
Excellent venue in the heart of Colchester. Facilities at the Mercury are very good and the play, the Mouse trap was well performed. Highly recommend a visit.
The Smallest Show on Earth - such fun. Made in Colchester should be proud. This show deserves to make the West End. I must also congratulate the Mercury Theatre on the "disabled box" - it felt like the Royal Box. We took a friend on a mobility scooter and were amazed at how easy access was. We will certainly do this again - she was thrilled. Thank you sincerely. C Beedle
Lovely theatre looking forward to visiting when the alterations are done.
Great panto and awesome effort from the performers and all the crew
Christmas panto with family. Excellent entertainment
Nice theatre. I have seen many plays, musicals and the occasional Christmas pantomime here and have always had an entertaining time. Good seating with plenty of legroom. Facilities include a bar and restaurant onsite.
Pantomime snow white. Slow start but hilarious in parts.
Super theatre with great plays and music. Bar and coffee available. One of the best local theatres around
The Mercury is a great theatre, always enjoy my visit. The Ballroom Boys was absolutely fabulous, Ian Waite and Vincent Simone were great. A wonderful show.
Eric and Ern were fantastic last night. Had really great evening very funny haven't laughed so much in ages.
There's good parking nearby. You could pre-order drinks for the interval that were easy to find and the seating was comfortable. Your experience of the show depends on who you've booked to see doesn't it?
Panto is awesome. Very funny. Great place. Comfy seats.
Jack & The Beanstalk. The panto this year at the Mercury is another fantastic performance from all involved. A rotten baddy, a voluptuous dame, an amazing cow, a trainee fairy godmother, a beautiful princess and the understated hero make for traditional Christmas fare. Throw in lots of gags and innuendo and you've got a fantastic show for the whole family.
An absolutely fantastic theatre, Colchester should be be very proud!
We watched Cinderella and it was outstanding! So entertaining! Amazing performances from all especially Buttons (Dale Superville) whose ability to engage with the audience was magical.
Ten out of ten! Thank you for such a great evening.
Nice size of a theatre - no seats were too far from the stage
Great venue. Great staff. Closing for a refurb for a year or so. New venue at Abbeyfields.
Great show with a fantastic selection of sets. Well worth a visit.
Lovely theatre, warm friendly staff and a brilliant show.
Been to the Mercury Theatre a few times now. Tonight was the 'Illegal Eagles'. Great band and great evening.
We absolutely loved it here me and my family we watched BABE! Fantastic as good as a London show in our eyes a real must the crew all put 100% and more. Will definitely go back again
A wonderful theatre. We went and saw " Little Shop of Horrors " This was by the Colchester Operatic Society and was west end standard. The theatre was modern and comfortable with a large stage and teared seats. Also a bar and restaurant. A great night out. x
Very helpful polite staff ... Could do with a few more or two separate toilet blocks as queues were very long.
Expected a local sing along but had a USA professional group of the highest quality. Viva 4 seasons.
I love the Mercury Theatre! My family and I go there quite often and the performances are always entertaining and professional. The service and staff are also great. Definately would recommend.
Fabulous evening watching Jack and the Beanstalk, excellent Pantomime!!
