Decoration of the campus is great. There is a IOT based irrigation system in their campus.

I am an MTech student under AcSIR(an institute of national importance), doing my master's in CMERI- Durgapur. It comprises good research facilities in Robotics, automation, manufacturing, aero system, environmental engineering etc.

I has got one of the best natural environments I have ever been... And the place has got must be appreciated maintenance.. besides I also got to see a smart village with awesome plantation works..!

CSIR-Central Mechanical Engineering Research Institute (CSIR- CMERI), the only national laboratory dedicated to Mechanical Engineering, carry out dedicated research and development
over a broad spectrum of mechanical engineering and allied disciplines of science & technology. CSIR- CMERI is situated at Durgapur, West Bengal. It is situated just opposite NIT Durgapur. Nice and clean campus is one of the important the features of CSIR-CMERI. One can can take auto from Durgapur Railway Station or City Centre to reach here at CSIR-CMERI. The staffs and research scholars has been accomodated at the staffs quarters and Hostels situated at CMERI Colony.
