Sweets and Meats BBQ catered a wedding Sept 12 that I attended, and the food was AMAZING! Everything tasted great and it was ready right when we walked up to the truck. Worked so well for the reception and I would definitely eat there again.
Its ok.. the pulled pork sandwich that I had was too runny. At 12 p.m. didn't have any ribs and that's what I wanted.. the macaroni was good but dry.. I see the great potential though in the food quality..
Excellent food and service! Today was our first time in the shop; however I have had their food off their truck and it is always top shelf! I highly recommend them!

Response to owner - Sorry. I should ve been more clear. The food was provided off of a food truck at Cincinnati Children s yesterday 8/8 and not only got me sick, but got my colleague sick too. Maybe not prepared the best on the truck!

This gem is worth a trip to Mt. Washington. The staff is friendly, the service is great and the food is out of this world. The pulled pork is so good that is doesn't need the sauce (but I like it saucy!). I'm a creature of habit so I normally get the pulled pork sandwich, mac&cheese (full of flavor and very cheesy), sweet potato casserole (great pecan topping and not too sweet) or fresh green beans. It's always a toss up between the banana pudding or the strawberry crunch cake. We normally share a dessert because the sandwich and sides are so filling. Support local and help this small business grow.

Good food. Wonderful cake. A tad pricey in my opinion but the food is so good I treat myself sometimes. I usually get the ribs tips, but pulled pork yummy too.
Only tried their pork belly burnt ends Mac and cheese at the Cincinnati Mac and Cheese Throwdown. 10/10 would crawl through broken glass for another bite.

It is difficult to find great BBQ in the Midwest. Sweets and meats is consistently delicious. The amount of food you get for the price is a great value. Love their pulled pork and all of their sides.
Sweet meats is a hidden gem in Mt. Washington. I recommend if you're in the East side to stop by this place. Food is always great, and they never disappoint. After you have the food they have great dessert as well. I recommend everyone try this place. The banana pudding is the best in the city.

I was very impressed with their food. I had the pulled pork and it was arguably the best in the Cincinnati area. But that is not where it stopped. Some places get lazy with the sides. Their sides were great. Don't skip the dessert either.

Ordered through Uber eats. Potato salad is incredibly good and it got to my house in about 20 minutes...this was my first time ordering from there. I live down the street and have been curious for a while. 10/10 will be ordering again.

Wow what service! My hubby and his friend loved the place and they always pie led it up! Pulled pork to die for! I must say I had to run to get a whole crunch cake we ordered (so worth it). My first trip to the store.The expiercence of how friendly the owner was to kindness she was showing her new staff member.making sure each order had everything including napkins! I knew this was a fabulous place to eat but the people make it so much better! If you havnt gone do yourself a favor and stop by!

Sweets and Meats BBQ brought their food truck to a work event I was hosting to benefit United Way earlier this month. The team was very quick to respond to my request for their food truck to come, and was there promptly day of. I heard great reviews from all of their food all afternoon, and the mac and cheese I had was potentially the best I've ever had! I'm grateful for Kristen and her team, and appreciate all of their help. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great food truck for their next event!

Sweets and meats beats any other bbq joint by a long shot. The brisket is to dye for, its so flavorful and delicious. The mac and cheese is on a whole other level its so good. Highly recommend trying this place out!

I didn't get the cashier's name; but she was extremely nice and very helpful. Once I arrive at their location; I had to call my son, because their menu was more appetizing than what I saw online. Everything looked so good! And as she was getting my order together; I was looking around, and saw the desserts. And I remembered that I wanted the banana pudding and I saw the " strawberry crunch cake and the orange crunch cake "; I asked her to add one of each! The cakes was new to me; and they were a good choice.

If you walk out without cornbread, something is wrong with you! It is the perfect treat to help get every bit of the spice rub from the ribs off your fingers and into your mouth. When I am in need of comfort food, this is where is where I go.

I drove past twice before I spotted it. My fault, not an area I frequent, but now that I've found Sweets & Meats BBQ, I'll know right where to go. As luck would have it, I stopped in late in the day and it was "Buy one sandwich, get one free." I got pulled pork and pulled chicken. Rib tips, man and cheese, green beans, banana pudding and strawberry crunch cake. Everything was on point. The food was delicious, and that strawberry cake? Insert chef's kiss here. Yum!

We used SweetsandMeats for catering our 25th Wedding Anniversary with 175 guests. Everything was Perfect! Presentation, Quality of Food, Friendly Staff. The feedback that we received from our guests was "THE BRISKET!" very tender and tasty! My husband is from the south and he described the Banana Pudding as "The best he has ever had" He was almost speechless. lol. It was the rave of our guest. They were asking if they could take any extras home! lol. My personal favorite is/was the pulled chicken and sweet potato casserole and the mac and cheese. I like how they have veggie skewers for a healthier option. Kristen, the manager, is wonderfully kind, patient, and professional. The owner, Im sorry I can't remember his name, is a true American entrepreneur. I love his story. I love supporting small local businesses. I look forward to my next meal at SweetsandMeats!

The ribs are tender and delicious, but a big reason for why I keep coming back are the sides. The sweet potato casserole is my favorite. My husband's is the Mac n cheese. The collard greens and cornbread are yummy, too.

I really appreciate Sweets and Meats in our neighborhood. They are friendly on the phone for ordering and questions, and so willing to a accommodate. They even delivered the bbq sauce to my house when they forgot to add it. What chain does that? None!! I d give them a 6 if I could.

I really wanted to like this place. Tried it twice and the food was terrible. The food is priced higer than a similar joint like this. We ordered some cake with a cheese cake center it was probably the worst cake I ever had. I was going to give a one star but the service was good which earned the second star.

The food was great. The woman that took my order was so rude, I don't guess I'll be back. Pickles and Bones in Milford has great brisket as well.....a lot less attitude.

I have had food from here in the past via DoorDash, but since I was in the neighborhood, I decided to stop in and pick up dinner. I have had the pulled pork before, so decided to try the brisket and it was wonderful. I also tried the vinegar coleslaw and it recalled my childhood days in Alabama, tangy and bright. Such slaw is rarely found this far north. The collard greens and old-fashioned cornbread were delicious and southern through and through. Everyone was pleasant and welcoming. It is so nice to have this delicious option nearby for take-out.
Ribs are phenomenal! Brisket was a bit over done, but, it was the end of the day. The mac-n-cheese and sweet potato casserole were both best in class, imo. I'll be back to try the pork and the chicken. The ultimate statement? Their meat comes first, you want sauce? It's on the side, as it should be. I give a 4+ Stars out of 5. I'll be back, for sure.

The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming. They we're also very appreciative of us stopping by. Past the top-tier customer service the Ribs, Pulled pork, Mac N Cheese and Cornbread we're absolutely fire. The tang of the sauce adds the perfect amount of kick and the ribs were so tender. The banana pudding was delicious, but ill be back for the Strawberry cake and some wings next week.
Absolutely well deserving of all the love and praise, this place has a delectable taste on the smoked meat, the absolute best mac & cheese I've had in the city, good vegetarian site options, and the nicest owner, Pitmasters, and service staff I have had the pleasure of interacting with in this area. Mount Washington is blessed to have them, and so is my belly!
Sides are good down home cooking. The meat well....lets just say the brisket was sold out but i got a taste..wow was it good. Everything was great, honestly. Only thing I would change is the coleslaw. But that is "to each their own".

I have had Sweets and Meats cater 2 events at my home and one food truck event at my business and both times they exceeded my expectations. I also buy the team lunch and pick it up at their store in Mt. Washington several times a year. Kristen and Anton run a top notch business with fabulous food and service. They support other local businesses that support them and are a great asset to our community!
The food at Sweets & Meats is absolutely delicious. My personal favorite is the mac & cheese. But even more importantly, the customer service is always great and they give back to the neighborhood!
Rib tips were juicy, but somewhat fatty. Macaroni and cheese had an unknown herbal note. Barbecue sauce was good but nothing spectacular. Pricing was a little steep. Spent $14 on a modest lunch.
This spot simply knows how to take care of their clients. Constantly with a helpful attitude. The food is fairly priced, always flavorful and neat.
