Meadow Brook Theatre Review

I am handycapped and when we went there, an employee saw I was having a hard time walking so she gave me and my husband a ride on the golf cart from the parking lot to the pavillion were our seats were. I was also happy that they have their handycapped toilets in the front of the restroom instead of all the way in the back. Very handycapped friendly THANK YOU!

Had the pleasure of escorting a bus load of our brightest and best to see a production of A Christmas Carol.

Watched Blithe Spirit. It was a great storyline and excellent performance.

Meadowbrook Theatre is a great place to watch a play. The sets are amazing. The sound is awesome. And the director is not only talented, but hilarious. If you happen to go to a play that offers a talk back after the show, I highly recommend you stay for that. I have learned a lot each play from talk backs.

This was a wonderful show. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

AWESOMESAUCE!! We saw the "A Christmas Carol" production at Meadowbrook Theater and it was absolutely awesome! The set, the actors, the sound effects, and the ambiance were stunning. Every seat offers a great view to thoroughly enjoy the production. Ticket prices are extremely reasonable. Makes a great family outing or an awesome date night.

Went there with my students easy entering and exiting building. The greeter inside the theater was very Stern on where we sat. The theater was cold like the other times I've been there.

My daughter and I have had season tickets here and we enjoy the plays very much. The seating is wonderful and the prices are very affordable. The only downside is that the is not a lot of variety of restaurant around that are not a part of a chain

It s with a heavy heart I m writing this review as this theater is one of my favorites. Always a spectacular show and experience- until tonight, when I was shown just how little this theater cares about its community.

We spent a small fortune on tickets to A Christmas Carol and unfortunately, the night of our show (tonight) is a blizzard. I already live an hour away, in good conditions, however tonight it s closer to three. When I called to see what their refund or exchange policy I was told there was none- unless of course the venue cancels the show. Considering Medowbrook is on a college campus I would have assumed that they would close. However- they didn t. I m sorry, I m not going to risk my life, or someone else s to go to a show. Now, being in theater my whole life I fully understand what s involved in a production. I also understand that this is Michigan and snow happens. But this is a severe winter storm warning. Schools are shutting down, companies are closed for the safety of everyone.

It s just discouraging that a theater so revered within its community has such little regard for the safety of their staff, cast, crew and devoted fans.

Just saw arsenic and old lace great performance! Would've gave 5 stars but they had two 10minute intermission and not enough time to get a drink or go to restroom. Long lines....

There are no 'bad seats'

Christmas carol play is really good play great for family and friends

Small, comfortable, it is better than your typical local theater. Some shows are great, some not quite so good. But worth going nearly every time. Staging is always excellent

We just called Meadow Brook and they will not refund tickets for performances coming up this next week. Regardless of what the governor has said, Meadow Brook is still going forward with performances. Who is in charge?

Great theatre. Every seat is a good seat for viewing. You feel so up close to the action. The plays are varied and exciting. Actors & actresses are professionals & very talented. I always look forward to seeing the next play. I love Meadowbrook theater. I see plays in Detroit at Fisher & Fox but look more forward to the upcoming plays at Meadowbrook. MJ H

We went to see A Christmas Carol and it was excellent highly recommend that production Peter was awesome facility was pretty good definitely an older place but not like historical old gist early 80s old the production in the actors and whole play was just phenomenal.

We are so blessed to have this wonderful theater close enough for us to attend. The performances are always wonderful. Gerri

I went and saw a Christmas Carol. The singing was great and the acting was even better. They didn't miss a beat. I will definitely be going back. Well worth the time and the money spent to have a great afternoon at the theater.
