Nothing but the best! I work for Avalon Flooring and have worked along side the The McMullin Design Group for a number of years. Nothing but professionalism and attention to detail. Their knowledge of project planning, materials and installation is incredible. I would recommend anyone to McMullin Design for all of their interior needs.
We built a new home in fall 2016, and McMullin helped us design several rooms, as well as choose lighting and paint colors for nearly the entire home. I was so overwhelmed with the task at hand but Kristen worked so thoughtfully and patiently with me. She put so much thought into choosing items within our budget and I truly couldn't have done it without her. She allowed for my opinion to be heard but guided me when I was struggling with making decisions. I can't say enough about the job they did! All of the ladies we worked with were awesome, from the front desk to assistants. Every window treatment (there were MANY) was correctly measured, and over 18 months later everything has held up well, even with 3 kids running around. I would not hesitate to use them again, making your house a home is a worthy investment and should be treated with this level of care.
EVERYONE at Mcmullin design group is amazing. My designer, Kristen Joyce is a godsend. She really got our style, and redesigned our entire house accordingly. She is a dream to work with and really knows how to pull everything together. her ideas were perfect for us. She took a huge weight off my shoulders trying to design the house, and she organized all the changes with the contractor as we went so I did not have to do anything. Also, the desk staff has been amazing as well. The other designers also have always been nice when i called or visited. I am SO GLAD I picked MDG and would do it again in a heartbeat!! YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED. Do yourself a favor and pick them, you will be glad you did.
I moved into a house that was in bad need of a remodel and I truly feel like I have the worst taste and no idea how to make a house look nice. I researched online many different design groups and between pictures and reviews I really fell in love with Kristen's work. But my budget was incredibly low so I really did not think it was going to be possible. I spoke to the McMullin Design Group and they gave me something that I was able to work with financially and I actually scored Kristen for ten sessions. I could not believe it. She came to my house and I cannot express not only what a great and amazing designer that she is, but she is also so so kind and never made me feel silly for really being clueless about anything dealing with design, colors, etc. She was truly such a blessing for my home. Pretty much was able to do most of the work with 8 sessions and had the remaining two which she contacted me months later to check on me and remind me that I still had them and to think about what else I would need her help with. She recently came over and completed the final time so I cannot believe that I had her help for my initial move in to my house but also about a year and half later followup to help me with some design issues I was having with a basement that I had to waterproof and unfinish, flooring and window treatment recommendations, and even more. I truly love the feeling and the way my house looks. I STRONGLY recommend for anybody even if you are working with a small budget this design group will work with you and their expertise is phenomenal.
We had the best experience with the McMullin Group. We redesigned our master bedroom and kids bedrooms. Working with them has been an absolute joy! From the initial meetings to the design presentations to the install, we could not be happier with the level of design, professionalism and integrity of our designer and team. Our rooms are literally magazine worthy and we just stare at them everyday. We can't wait to work with them again soon!
I ve used MGD on several occasions and my experience has always been very positive. The first occasion was when I wanted to get window treatments throughout my house. The owner measured each window and went over different options, material and price points. After deciding on the details the order was delivered in the timeframe estimated. The windows look great and gave the rooms a brand new look. The second occasion was for a console table for my living room. The owner assessed the space and provided some options for a concise table. Out of the options she gave me I selected one that was really unique and sharp. The delivery was on time and the MGD team gave me instructions and updates on delivery. To this day almost every visitor to my place has complimented the piece.
My family and I worked with The McMullin Design group to furnish our new house! We had nothing but a positive experience! The team we worked with was very hands on, creative and easy to work with! I could not recommend this company more!
AVOID!
This design group charges top dollar and LACKS ATTENTION TO DETAIL. We remodeled two bathrooms and they made MEASUREMENT ERRORS in both bathrooms. Based on these measurements, we were directed by the designer to purchase custom pieces that we were unreturnable. When approached with the problem, they first blamed the contractor, then REFUSED TO PAY to fix the problem. This problem DELAYED a 6 week project back 2 weeks and they were very unapologetic.
If you are looking for a group to increase the ease of your project, they will make mistakes and delay completion.
For the price of their services, go elsewhere.
We are in the process of completing the "re-do" of our living room and Kristen and everyone at The McMullin Design Group have been great. Kristen started us off with some great ideas and choices that we wouldn't have arrived at on our own. We made some purchases on our own based on the framework she gave us and we could not be happier!
