Great spot to have a drink while watching a game! The food is pretty good as well. The main attraction are the beer towers.

The staff was great and the food is always good. The only issue, since it was St-Patrick's day, it was really noisy. We still enjoyed it.

Lamemtable service. A server for the entire 2nd floor.

The rudest bar staff we have ever come across. One in particular, she swore at us, gave us attitude, told us to "f****** wait a second", slammed a pitcher of water on my phone. Got into a verbal argument with my boyfriend when he stood up for me, made derogatory comments about me being Irish, on St Patrick's day of all days. Charged us twice and told us to "f*** off"

Warm and receptive staff, drinks arent expensive at all and food was good! Have only been once but the experience was good

Eh. This place has potential to be great. It's not. Wait staff is disinterested, and jerky. And it stinks in there. They leave the mop and slop bucket by the door, so the whole place smells like wet, dirty dog. It's awful. We had a beer tower, which is cool, but left because of the stench. AVOID.

Loved the understated ambience.
I have had better wings in my lifetime, the sauce was literally poured over it. Could have been meatier with the right concentration of sauce.

Really cool spot to hang out and have a few drinks. The staff is super friendly and really cheerful. Maybe it was the particular time I was there but they had this fun throwback playlist that we enjoyed. Only drawback for me personally is that it was a bit too loud. Otherwise price is similar to other downtown pubs, food's good (nachos were a little spicy for my taste).
Definitely recommend to try it out for a night.

Not a big pub guy these days but this was the best spot. Live music that wasn't too loud and was really good. Awesome staff, very social and friendly, friendly patrons. Overall loved it here

Imagine. You're a famished traveler, much hoping for a warm meal, a zippy drink and plus service. At McLean's, imagine no more! . Here in a rustic wood milieu, a mellow, healing vibe seems to just emanate. And while you may be an utter stranger, the tavern may even evoke stirring memories - as in days of yore near a revered hearth. And if the beloved Les Habs are skating up the telly - especially if they're winning, well, "Allez les bonne temps roulez, eh?" (Let the good times roll!) And it'll be fun even if, well, "Hey, they had their chances..." Just a splendid spot; with a feel of Olde Montreal.

Absolutely great bartenders and very solid security. Honestly some of the nicest people and most rational ive met in montreal.problems taken care of quick efficuently and respectfully followed by good drinks at a good price

Great service, solid beer selection, awesome drinks deals. Good place to watch various sports! Food's not bad either, but a little on the expensive side.

Good little irish bar. Could do with a better cider like thatchers but nice all the same.

I have always spent beautiful evenings there: it is never empty, rarely too full, good value for money and this for years.

A simple pub that has everything you'd need to enjoy a nice evening with friends.
I prefer it over the pub next door.

Loud, limited selection of beer, crowded, food is lousy and expensive. Didn't have enough drink menus for an announced event and brushed off the idea of putting it up on the wall once suggested stating that no one would read it...making me and my table no one apparently...very expensive for the low level of quality. Every second I was there all I wanted to do was leave. Avoid unless you are a University student looking to get hammered and even then you'd be better off elsewhere.

I have never had a problem here at Mcleans pub!

- the service is great, professional and courteous. They were understanding and patient.

Environment
- the great thing about the atmosphere is they offer a second floor which has a DJ and pool table etc. If you feel in more of a relaxed mood the first floor is where to go, if not head up to the second.

Overall, with the 3l and 10l towers and great music you won't miss a beat or a drink partying at the pub!

Excellent food, large portions, flowing pints and a caring wait staff

I would give this a 4.5 but the excellent service from Adrienne put it over the top. She was quick, attentive and funny. Now the 007 burger was great. It had a little charred taste which was awesome. Bacon crispy and it was quite a big serving. It was hot! That tells me it was just off the grill. It literally took no time at all to get it. The fries were a little overdone, but I m not expecting perfection at a Pub. The Cider was crisp and cold. Wasn t a fan of the music, but my EarPods saved the day. Fun atmosphere. In the end...Adrienne made it the more special.

Fun place with really awesome waiter's! If you are going for to a game at the Bell centre this is the Perfect place for a pre meal and drink!!

The beer list is pretty corporate now, the menu is full of fried stuff, pretty decent but not much variety. Drinks are pretty cheap.

Amazing bartenders and ambiance within the local MTL downtown metropolitan area. Absolutely feels unique and authentic.

I decided to go there with a friend of mine. We have been there before on and off for many years. I had a craving for chicken wings that night and so that's what I ordered. At one point, not our waitress but another waitress came over and mistoke me for a friend of hers. We talked and when she said that I looked exactly like a person that she knew but he was fatter, I laughed and told her "well I'm also getting fat myself so..." when suddenly, for no reason she decided to grab me in my chest and stomach area to see if I was fat. I then proceeded to ask her to stop, then asked her that how would she feel if I grabbed her and gropped her stomach area? She then replied by pulling up her t-shirt to reveal her stomach by hintting to me that I wouldn't bother her at all...all I wanted we're wings. When the wings finally arrived they were dry and had no life in them and out of the ten, I ate maximum half and then gave up, I wanted to talk to the chef but I was worried they would bring out a microwave because that's how dry they tasted. We asked for the bill and I went somewhere else to have some proper wings. Say what you want about my review but I was gropped for no reason by a member of staff, I'm fine and not freaked out by it, but seriously, who does that? I'm only giving it two stars because my friend liked his hot-dog poutine.

Good place, the service is welcoming and it's always fun to take a giraffe of beer with friends at this place. We get along pretty much even if sometimes when we are placed at the bottom the sound can be put a little louder, choose your place if you can;)

It's a pub and it's downtown they have an alrigh variety of beers and the food is pretty good.

Had an awesome time at McLean's with The Third Rail for our NYCFC pregame party. The upstairs bar was a great space and felt like a home away from home traveling from NYC. Must try the smoked meat poutine best washed down with a beer tower.
