McLean's Pub Review

I started off at Carlos n Pepe's 1 Star. So.... I came here 4 star. Friendly staff n good food. It was around 14:00 when I was there.

It's always been a sweet place with generally good smiling services. Took out a star simply because the wings I ordered last time were just so small compared to other pubs.

Edit: 2nd-3rd visit: Added a star due to ongoing amazing smiles and services. You feel at home at McLean's. My friend and I were served today by Manon who knew exactly when to come around. Kind, patient, understanding waitering is often taken for granted. The skilled ones are something of a dying breed but thankfully, not at McLean's!

Chicken wings were much bigger the 2nd time around. They seem to vary in terms of sizes but that's sadly a problem with the distributor. Kudos to Stuart on taking the time to communicate and explain the reason. Nonetheless, tastier wings in a great spot. What else could you really ask for?

Great service, waitress was very attentive even though she was extremely busy. Food was delicious. Nice atmosphere as well. Only my second time in Montreal, will definitely come back to this place.

Nice English-themed pub in Montreal. Staff were nice and proper but didn't interact much with them since they were busy. Went here to catch UFC 224 and the Loma-Linares fight. Wish they put the sound on though instead of playing classic rock on the stereo but my guess is they only put it on when showing hockey, football or basketball. Sat by the bar and met some regulars, which is pretty great since I'm new in town. Didn't eat but the beer selection was good. Above all, there's no cover at the door and they pour proper pints here.

It's ok. Beet selection limited compared to other pubs near. Great vibes.

A cool pub, the staff is friendly and the service is good. Pitchers and girafes are a little expensive, it's no big deal though

Nice cosy pub in the heart of the downtown to grab a beer or a drink after work, the staff is nice. There might be some music bands or a DJ it depends on the week day... I definitely recommend

Horrible service. Waited 45 minutes to an hour. No staff came to take our order. Went to the bar to order our drinks and food. But you had to be obnoxiously loud or annoying to have your order taken. It was a busy night but no excuse for us to not receive any service. A few tables have left because they didn't receive any service. Never going back and neither are my friends.

I went to McLean's Pub on a crowded fight night and felt very uncomfortable from the start. The bouncer was very unpleasant, I was with 3 of my guy friends but for some reason, he decided to card only me (which is fine) but when I got my I.D back, he cracked his knuckles in my face,I don't really know why but it was certainly unnecessary and pretty stupid. I enjoyed my time and drinks, the waitresses were nice, the service was good and fast. I left the pub with one of my friends shortly after the main event, the bouncer said have a good night and as I was walking outside he started running after me asking me if I paid my bill (which I obviously did). He didn't ask my guy friend anything just me. I wouldn't recommend this place to a petite woman like myself because the bouncer will try to intimidate you and will make sure you feel uncomfortable every time you pass near him.

Always a good place to hang out with a good music that's not too loud. My favorite place for casual beer an burgers. I'm there 1-2 times a week at least!
