Renaissance Entertainment Productions, Bristol Renaissance Faire
I go every year and will continue to until the sun quits rising! Awesome!
Awesome! Can't say more! Drinks a little high but meh with the fun way worth it big smiles all day
I go there every year: roasted nuts, costume, and Barely Balenced. Huzzah!
Hadn't been here since I was around 8 yrs old. I really enjoyed it here. It's fun seeing even patrons dress up. Mud show was the best!
LOVE IT!!! A total diferente experience it i a must go!!
Great place to visit, on your own or with the family. Lots of different things to see and do. Different foods to eat, lots of shops offering a great variety of Mid evil type products. Highly recommended.
I went a few weeks ago and it was amazing. The last time I was there, it was worn down and tired, having the vibe of that one bar in town no one likes but still goes to. Going again was like seeing new life breathed into it
We had a great day there. The staff were all super friendly and helpful! The place was well maintained, and the entertainment everywhere added to the fun. My only complaint was the shops were expensive - one has to be prepared to pay extra for any clothing or accessories. However, the merchandise appeared to be good quality.
Always a great day and fun place to bring the family!
Fun great place for a step back in time. Fun for adults and kids. Just be prepared to walk and make sure to wear comfortable shoes.
This went from a 5 start to a 1 star. Prices keep going up every year but nothing changes at the Faire.
Prepare and save your money, for the simple fact you are paying for quality craftsmanship. Make sure your phone battery is filled out have a battery pack, between photos and pokestops you're very well may drain fast. The food there is awesome. You can get a good sized piece of pizza for $5. When you go, do what you can to stay all day. The drinks there soon $4 for water & $8 for alcohol. Be prepared to find mythical creatures, perfromers and some of the friendliest of folks. Just overall a great experience.
I'm giving this 2 stars for a few reasons: Expensive, The free activities weren't in line with the price point you pay to get in, Not very family friendly for small children, lack of clean bathrooms, 1 changing table for babies in the entire grounds that I saw, nowhere for nursing moms to sit comfortably with their infants, Not slot of space for anyone to take sit down breaks while it's hot, Pricing of everything is too high: $4 for drinks, $6.50 for a brat that was not all that great, rides and games cost $4 to $8 a pop. On the positive side, the employees/ actors did really well with their costumes, language of the period. The variety of shops was good. I highly recommend they improve restrooms, sitting spaces, make it more child friendly, please make your prices more affordable. We had 5 people, spent over $300 total on tickets, food, and and 3 books and a souvenir mug. I was disappointed, but will give it a try in the future. Anyone planning a trip be prepared to do alot of walking, sunscreen, bugspray, and be prepared to spend alot of money . If you're bringing a family, you'll have more opportunities if you can have $1000 spending cash as a minimum. They also need to switch things up and offer more shows, activities, and shops. I was looking forward to buy a new purse and did not see any shops with purses. It's also very crowded at lunch time around the food stands, lots of long lines for food.
I go every year and every time I have a wonderful day... There's lots to do even if you're not super into fairs or fantasy
Amazing experience. I was surprized by how much there was for kids to do. Don t choose a very hot day to go though!
Great experience! It was pretty crowded but didnt feel cramped. All of the people were very friendly and committed to the concept and the happiness of the guests. Food and beverage was reasonably priced ($7 for a beer and $2 for a soft pretzel) and it was all delicious too. The only complaint I have is that its is definitely stroller accessible but not stroller friendly. If you have small kids a wagon or something is better than a stroller
Thank you for embracing freedom of expression! Fantastical!
Great time for families, couples and groups. Different events every week. Vendors from all over with unique finds. Great food choices. Can't wait for next year.
Get place, lots of fun for the kids and those that like to dress up. Caution is can get pretty busy.
BEST REN FAIR IN TOWN. make sure to check out the jousting. also Dirk and guido are legends
As someone who was born in raised in Kenosha, I feel extraordinarily blessed to live so close to the Bristol renaissance faire. It has an incredibly wide selection of the dead eras products and fantastical sights to behold; jousting, fencing, and parades to name a few. I highly recommend to visit this place if you're passing through. Some cons, however, are long lines and overpricing but if you know what you're looking for you can find some pretty sweet deals with the vendors there.
I loved it!! Although it is the same thing year after year
Always have so much fun at the Renaissance fair, it's more or a tradition to come out here every year. All the shows and vendors are amazing and do a great job. It's truly worth every cent!
I always get my drinks from the beautiful lady in her little shack. Love dressing up, and seeing what I can add to my outfits. C. Diva is where I got my first bustier. When my baby girl is older, I'm taking her through the petting zoo they have. And start making outfits for her too. Every year I'm always looking forward to get here! Made a decent amount of faire friends and you will too! It's definitely worth the money spent getting to/from and inside! I hope you end up loving it as much as I do!
Love the Bristol Renaissance Faire - we come here about once a year with the family, and it's always a fun time. Was raining this year, but still a great time!
Expensive but fun and great place for people watching
Fun things to do and see for all ages, very cool atmosphere
Nothing better to do in the summer than to enjoy the Ren Fair experience.
Its the Ren fair. Hard not to love the atmosphere, food, shows, music and the people. My hats off to the people who make the rides go.
Great place to spend a day roaming the grounds and watching the shows!
Acts and stores are great like usual food is getting worse every year.
Fun and unique experience. Employees and many guests dress the part for the period. Entertainment at every turn from free stage shows , games of skill, Renaissance roles played by employees, actors and audience members and people watching to your heart's content. Fun day. Good food and drink. For ages 3 to 90. Lots of walking and hills . Plenty of shade on hot days and shelter during rain.
Amazing loved everything about it the people the village food will return at least twice a year
One of the biggest and best events in the area. I've been coming here for years, and so many of the performers here have been mastering their shows for YEARS and give the same knock down performance 5 times a day every weekend. Definitely more of an adult attraction than for the young ones, but there is still much fun to be had for the whole family. Good food, Better people, Overall just a great time. Also, even the most simple of costumes really makes a difference here. The whole event feels better on weekends where more guests are in costume, even the basic ones.
Best! You won't regret it. They have a lot of Game of Thrones and Lord of the Rings custom hand-made items in the marketplace as well. Perfect place for nerds to gather.
Always love coming to the Ren Fair! Summer feels incomplete when I don't make it! My daughter & son & I look forward to making our way to the fair at least once every year!
Be prepared to spend a LOT of money. The shops had some interesting things, but everything was super expensive and the food was outrageously priced. I knew there would be some occult things there, but was surprised at how much.
Incredible dedication. Lovely atmosphere and the food is just too good. Can t wait for next year.
Great fun! Huzzah!!!
There's much to browse and something to do for everybody.
yay for experiences! good food n great times! you'll come back every year
The Ren Faire is a must do for all family and friends. If you haven't gone, you haven't lived!
The people, the costumed performers, the wide variety of shows and street performers, the food stalls and beverages as well as interesting shops set in a medieval village was very entertaining. Plus ample stuff for small children.
All very strange. Too many people dressed in period garb who were extremely intoxicated. I don't know if they were staff or ?. Not my cup of tea.
My only complaint is how EXPENSIVE an effing bottle of water is!!! RIDICULOUS!!
It's a solid place to hang out in a costume with your friends and have a great time
Make sure you watch the joust and stay for the parade at the end
Much higher quality of entertainment than I was expecting. Good show. Had a great time.
It's basically a kids themed fair with employees lavishly dressed in clothes of, you guessed it, the Renaissance era. The shows and games, with the exception of the jousting arena and the "strong man" game, (hit the weighted pulley target to ring the bell), are for kids. For adults, there's a lot of over-priced clothes, boots, jewelry, pottery, etc., available for purchase, along with beer, liquor and food stands. In my opinion, I wouldn't recommend going to this fair. By the way, it costs 30 bucks a ticket to get in.
Always a fun adventure going to Bristol Renaissance Faire. They have great food, excellent shows, and many cool and interesting shops.
It was quite interesting to see other individuals dressed in costumes from medieval times. It also makes a nice little road trip if you are not from Wisconsin. I will definitely be back next year!
Do not take young children to steam punk weekend- leave that for us adults.... good times all around
It's just ok. Good ambience but expensive for what they offer...
Great place to escape the real world and enjoy the times of old. Great food, and a bunch of shops to get all kinds of stuff. From clothing, jewelry, even weapons. There are fun events to watch throughout the day. You'll be entertained all day!
Holy fun time batman!!! First time there last week... and wishing I never had to leave. The performers where amazing. The clothing and items are top notch. In need of a kilt
Always a lot of fun! It's like medieval times on steroids lol. Can't wait for next year.
I've been coming here ever since I can remember. My parents brought me in a stroller! This place will always be my 2nd home, the entertainment, the shops, the people are all unique and ever changing. It is a summer event to not be missed no matter what age.
This place is awesome! Only went there once with my daughter but definitely going back! To the person that wrote the negative review concerning the smoking, learn how to write a review please. Complaining about other patrons smoking is not a review of the facility itself. Reviews are done on "Appeal", "Facilities", and "Service". You obviously seem to like the place since you keep going back to it correct?
Such an awesome fair! Good food, great shows, and LOTS of wonderful costumes. It's easy to see why it's voted as best in the land.
Very real experience to the old days, just the people having fun and communicating with you in an old English accent is the cherry on top of an amazing experience. I would highly consider visiting this cheerful fair.
