My fiance and I went there for late night drinks and we get there and the waitress is asking us what we want and never handed a food or drink menu. Yet she was asking us for what we want to order and we had to finally ask for a menu . Then on the drink menu it said "You keep the GLASS." So when my fiance and I were done drinking our drink we left and as we were leaving the waitress said I couldnt keep the glass. So basically they lied, you CANT actually keep the glass. She said we can only keep plastic cups. If we couldnt keep the glass then they shouldn't write it on their menu in huge white letters "YOU CAN KEEP THE GLASS." Just saying. It's a lie and a scheme!

It was a fantastic experience. I took my girlfriend, and we both had a 40+ ounce of mixed drinks. The big drinks were actually reasonable and didn't break the bank. I do admit that the food was excellent. First time downtown in Kansas City not knowing what to expect, it was an excellent sports bar atmosphere, and the staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and enjoyable.

I won a happy hour from 11pm-2am and they closed almost an hour early. I also brought 8 people with me and I never got my gift card (not that I plan to go back anyway). There is not much to do inside the bar. No darts or pool tables.

Sat in a booth around 9:30/9:40 today (a slow Sunday). Waited and waited for out a waitress to serve us. We sat at a booth that hadn't been bussed so we tried to wave her over in case she didn't realize we hadn't been served. The lady never made eye contact and when we finally got her attention she bussed the table but never came back to serve us--even after more attempts at getting her attention. Finally at 10 we gave up and asked the bartender for menus--she told us the kitchen closed at 10. When we left they told us "thank you for coming" and we were literally never served.

I have had mixed experiences here. Some good, some not so good. It is a hot mess before Sprint Center events. But everything in P&L is the same at those times. I've been in on a Sunday to watch NFL football and asked for a game to be changed (Nobody was in there), and I got a lot of attitude from the bartender. I had to ask for the manager to get the game changed. I have also had some outstanding service there. Mixed bag.

Amazing place in the Power and Light District. Amazing food, excellent service, and so many tvs, it'll make your head spin. Had above and beyond service here with my wife and kids after a Sprint Center show. I will definitely be back.

Really enjoyed the atmosphere and the bartender was great. We did go during slow hours. We're not from the area and we asked for some food suggestions and he gave us a range of options with tid bits (if it was pricey, longer distance, if there are usually wait times, etc.). Both my boyfriend's phone and my own were dying and they had a charger we could use. The only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is, like many other reviewers mention, the prices were a bit high.

The food was way over priced. A group of 4 consisting of 2 kids and 2 adults for one meal and a drink each. The drinks were 2 sodas and 2 glasses of beer and the cost was $84.00. I would not recommend this place to take a family.

It's not exactly my style of bar because the music is very loud and it's quite crowded, but the first beer I bought came out of the tap completely flat and was more or less undrinkable. They did the right thing and refunded my money and made me a mixed drink for free that was good, though. If you like bars with more of a party atmosphere, you probably will like this place.

Service was great and our waitress was really nice. Drink specials for good. Food not so great. Stale chips and lukewarm dip. Guacamole was $2 but came in a teeny tiny dish. But then the waitress didn't charge us for it. So it's all good!

Where to start... we were in KC for the college VB Championship and came here around 2pm on a Friday, so basically the place was half empty. It took a while to be noticed by the wait staff then 15 minutes to get the beer we ordered (which she proceeded to spill). 1 meal showed up, and we waited for the second while other food continued to be delivered around us. Waitress not to be found. Finally she stops over and notices we are missing half our food and apologizes. We wait another 10 minutes for it to come. They must have been in a hurry because it seemed like a whole cup of salt was on the fries. She didn't bother to ask if we wanted ketchup, which we had to get up and chase another waitress for. Thank god we weren't planning on paying with credit because she never came back after giving us the check. We might still be sitting there. Generally not impressed with the Power & Light District.

McFaddens is a fairly large venue with a large main bar and 2 smaller bars in the lower area. The food has always been good, appetizers, good selection of beer, good service and a lot of TV's to watch multiple games. The venue in Power and Light is directly across from the Sprint Center so it gets busy after concerts or events and for holidays. We have a good time everytime we go, it's a little loud at times but that is to be expected for a sports bar.

Not a place if you wanted an Irish pub experience. It is more of a club type of setting and have waited for almost an hour to receive any food ordered. Didn t even bother to ask what to drink. when the food came had nothing to eat with other then my fingers until requested utensils and demanded a drink. Food tasted like it was microwaved and not even warm what so ever. The DJ just kept the music so loud even though there was 10 people in the whole place you had to yell at each other to even order anything.

Lively fun hang out for Big12 Tournament but will not go back. Many other fun places in Power and Light District not looking to completely gouge visitors going to the games. Ordered 4 tall draft beers and laid out a fifty; 50 cents change back. Done

We always have a great time at McFadden's! The bartenders are fast, friendly, & funny. The food is always great! They have autographs of Eric Hosmer from nights that he parties at McFadden's with other KC Royals players. Also, I've seen lots of KC Chiefs players parting at McFadden's too. I highly recommend for all and you never know who all you will see parting inside.

It's an upscale sports bar. It is very overpriced for the quality. It only costs this much due to being in P&L. Also, when I went there prior to a College Basketball game at Sprint Center it was shoulder to shoulder throughout the establishment.

We are from our of town and came straight here after the Chiefs game because we heard many great things about it and our sever was HORRIBLE . We sit down and nobody greeted us, mind you they were not that busy, not busy enough to not see us Walk in , and when a sever finally came over she was rushed and gave me a bad vibe. I also asked to watch the Seahawks game and she never even bothered .. When we asked her what kinds of beer they had to offer she hesitantly mumbled and turned around to go grab a drink menu (making us feel like we were bothering her).. we than waited only a few minutes longer and decided to leave because we didn't feel welcomed there .... I have been a server for years and I know good customer service and that isn't what we got .. yes I know we all have our days but when pleasing people is your job you got to slap on a smile and do your job. When and if we ever come back to town I don't think we'll be returning .

Very nice place inside.. very spacey and had 3 different bars. Nice place. Didnt order food here. Reason for 3 stars is because their tap beer didnt taste right. Had a funny aftertaste and the bathroom was very messy.

Loved this place! You have to try the Reuben, it's one of the best I've ever had. I spent most of the day here for march madness opening weekend with some friends. The staff was great, fast, and friendly, and the atmosphere was top notch.

Called days in advance for reservations - was told they didn't take them and they weren't needed. Arrived at 5:30 p.m. - no seats to be had. Was told it might be hours until a table opened up due to a concert at the Sprint Center. Poor service. We left and went somewhere else to spend our money.

Friend won a party on a Friday night, went along for 1/2 priced drinks. DJ played fog horn during Adele songs along with other awful song choices. Not a quiet place. Stopped serving food WAY before closing time.
