Nov 2018: This place is what I'm looking for in a more laid back bar. Staff and experience was not so stuck up and PC as the rest of the area. A good place to let your hair down relax and have a drink.

Sept 2020: Visited this place again almost 2 years later apparently they just open with all the covid stuff going on. I got the Irish Burger and It was awesome. I was alone this time and the bar tender was good company plus great service.

Fun atmosphere and great vibe for an after concert meet up to keep the party going.

I was sitting at a table enjoying the surroundings and a drink, then their staff came up to me and said someone bought the table I was at and I was asked to move, that place is mainly for lowlifes anyway. The first time and last, I wouldn't recommend it for anyone except drunks and peasants.

Great atmosphere and attentive bartenders. Always a good vibe!

So out of everyone in the waiting line that was dancing to the Mexican music, they decided my friend and I were "too drunk" to go in. Even tho we weren't even close and just dancing like everyone else in line. Never going to bother coming here again.

Chy is the best damn bartender ever! This is a great bar/restaurant! You wonto be disappointed!!! Went in before the Kevin Hart show!! Made the night better before it started!!!

Five stars for that patio and the open air design of this place.

Not sure of who the manager was or who the person in charge of tonight was, 9-4-17, there was a man with many guns in a case, and was about to shoot the west gate bar area, but was at mcfaddens. every one was getting to safety so people went into the office to hide from the shooter. When everything was over and the cops said it was safe to leave, the manager came in angry saying things like " why is everyone in the office , who let them back here" I was speechless, how dare you say that to people that are or could have been in a life threatening situation? NEVER going back here again.

Irish pub/sports bar that is the place to go on a weekend night.

Not much drink specials but always a good place to party I love the vibe always a good experience

The service was horrible. The buzzers didnt work they just skipped us until we asked. There was no silverware, our waitress took forever to wait on us, and we had to keep looking for her to ask her for.things. We will not be returning.

Bar food and the setting here is very good. Two thumbs up for this place. I will be bringing family next time. Prices were reasonable.

HATE this place!!!! Met up at McFaddens for my friends birthday & kept an open tab at the bar which required them to keep my debit card at the register. When we were ready to go, I asked for my bill & debit card back. The bartender gave me my bill but said they couldn't find my debit card!!! So they looked around for about 5 minutes & then said it's lost but they'd look around more tomorrow morning & give me a call if they found it..UNBELIEVABLE! So then I was stuck with no debit card all weekend & had to wait until Monday to get a new one. HERE'S THE BEST PART! They just now, A WHOLE MONTH LATER, processed my bill from that night which has resulted in my checking account becoming overdrawn & now I'm stuck paying my bank NSF fees all because of McFaddens incompetence. Terrible experience, will never go again, worst service EVER.

Where you can easily spend $150 & not know it!! Lol This was my first time here. I only had the drinks, no food, but I did use the restroom. Bathroom was clean but I cudnt deal with the woman blocking the sinks, giving me a paper towel then tapping her tip jar saying "Dont forget about me"... Then saying it again and again... She was stopping the traffic from moving and I felt like I was being harassed... Might just be me, but I didnt like that. Id rather just walk out and use the restroom next door.

We literally decided to go to McFadden's for some food, as we approached the restaurant? they are playing rap music at such a high level that it could be considered offensive. Good job management.

They had Guiness. That's what I came for. Lol. Good service.

Service was good at the bar during the night life activities. At night it's turns into a night club atmosphere. Our group of people had a good time with good music and drinks.

Bartender was very disrespectful. I tried to get his attention while pouring my drink which was wrong. He had a bad attitude. I will never recommend anyone to go there.

Very small bar/ club. Ridiculous how they charge to get in.. beer is sometimes watered down.. YUKK !!! . Ambience is good to come and hang out 2with friends. Lots of ratchet girls thats for sure. Lady inside the bathroom charging to give you paper towels to dry your hands..... be careful yall

It s a great place to go. But I got walked out for showing signs of intoxication with no drink in my hand and was just dancing with my friends. I wasn t an issue until I started to dance with my boyfriend I feel. Honestly never going back. #IfYourGayBeSafe they made it clear we weren t welcomed.

Great music! Beautiful women! My Saturday night was a blast! The place to be if you want to have fun!

I've only been here when its a "club" so no review on the food. On a friday and sat night this place is packed...plus only place i know where i can dance on the bar.

If you want the best watered down drinks in all of west gate Mcfaddens is your place!

Conveniently located next to the Renaissance Hotel, quick food preparation for pick up, but the Ruben sandwich had disgusting beef slices, dry and fatty, impossible to bite, chew and swallow. Only ate the bread, cabbage and sauce. The french fries were spiced and tasty.

Mcfaddens in west gate gets a bad reputation and i don't see how they are nice prompt and fun. Food was great and hot. I am going back 100%

Food came very quickly. Appetizers and entree were served pretty much together. Food was very greasy.

Ashley has no clue on any specials or information. Definitely needs more training not to mention that it smelled like old wet towels

Had we just gone for pre-game drinks, this probably would have been fine. There is a really great outdoor space here with plenty of bar access and seating. But we made the mistake of ordering food. The food came out way too fast to be anything other than dished up from ready trays. The Mac and cheese had a cheese consistency of Kraft blue box. The nachos were very much like those you would find at an airport. The burgers at tables around us looked okay, but we did not try those.

Bad service, owner assumed bad things about guest. Last resort bar. No care attitude

Ordered the gourmet mac and cheese was served kraft powdered cheese meal. Before I could send it back I killed a cockroach at our table. Left as quickly as possible.

Most gorgeous women and best bartenders in Glendale! Great happy hour pricing and awesome night life. Must check this place out!

Good drinks, decent food. Nothing too special. The jalapeno poppers were really good though!

Might be the best corned beef we've ever had. The rueben is AMAZING. Nice Irish pub.

Their food is mediocre, service is toilet water and their very pricy.

This is not to mention the fact how they selectively discriminate.

This is a great place for happy hour with half priced appetizers (great) and drink specials! Tons of sports on TV and super friendly staff!

Nice spot. Glad it has a patio so when it gets to hot and crowed inside one can escape to the outside.

Our server was rude and treated us badly from the moment we sat down to when we left.

I went with 2 friends, male and female. My male friend was kicked out after a couple drinks, and I was barred readmission after I went outside to check on him. My female friend was slipped something shortly after. Luckily she made it to the bathroom before she passed out. I am never doing business at Westgate again because of this. Glendale PD, Westgate security and McFaddens Security did nothing about the guy who slipped her whatever, saying "Oh we saw her drinking and dancing with you, you are just jealous, and she is just drunk." Would have been a little different if we weren't 2 white guys coming in with dark complected girl I think. I've seen drunk, and I've seen drugged, I know the difference.

$6.00 small Bud Light draft in the middle of happy hour (4:00 p.m.) on a Wednesday.
Waitress wasn't the friendliest hen in the coop. Not personable at all... Not used to that.
Wings were huge (but if you like them that way, you might like them.) They had VERY little sauce and were rubbery as if they were prepared in the microwave. Terrible in MY opinion... Instead of 50 cent they should be 10 or free.

Went for a bite to eat at saddle ranch rest. before a coyote game and a very poor experience. The hostess didn't have a clue and realize it was busy, but almost had to tell her how to do her job. Mgr tried to help us out, but once the food arrived it was no better. The ribs were the worst we ever had - dry and burnt. Sent them back and the new ones were only slightly better. The food mgr suggested these were the best of the house. Staff tried but didn't have the support. I'd recommend skip this place and try somewhere else. For the cost not worth it.

1 star only because you are forced to choose at least one...this place is disgusting..ordered a Bloody Mary and when it came to the table it had a hair in it...2nd one had a nat in it...no apologies and manager was to busy to come to the table ( restaurant was practically empty) so not sure why they couldn't come by the table ...we were told they would take care of the issue ..by this they meant we didn't have to pay for either nasty drink WOW

My boyfriend and I decided to check out McFadden's because I love Irish food. It was in the middle of the afternoon, so the place was pretty much dead. The hostess was on the phone and ignored us until someone else came to greet and seat us, then we were placed behind a column. We both ordered the Shepherd's Pie; when it came out and we tried it, it was very disappointing. Too much cheese to overcompensate for the lack of flavor. No gravy whatsoever, used ground beef instead of lamb (which when using ground beef is called cottage pie). Our server didn't check on us until we were done eating. Never once checked to see if we needed refills or ask how the food was. Having worked in the restaurant business before, this was not acceptable. I doubt I'll ever go back.

DO NOT GO HERE unless you want a bad time! This place is a rip off! I kept reading that this place will run unauthorized charges on your card and didn't believe it until it happened to ME! Maybe they think some people do not look at their receipt. oh and the security manager is a joke of man. Baron (Bear) is a half blind fat %^&* that kicks people out for absolutely no reason. Never going here again!

I was not bad but it feels overpriced on the entire menu. That being said, it is right next to the stadium so it makes sense. Side order portions are huge.

Every time I go in there the bar staff takes care of me and is quick with making drinks compared to other places at Westgate. They are always packed and have the best music!

Extremely disappointed with this management team. I called to address a double billing. I was treated rudely and at the end of it all, no one ever followed up on $126.13. It's been months and nothing.

When it comes about good hip hop music McFadden"s is the best spot in Westgate. That's a place to.

Y all know you have cockroaches in your bathroom which is right next to your kitchen????

Kinda pricey for food so we didn't eat...had a vodka oj and Budweiser (flat) $15.

I honestly can't guess at why we were treated so poorly. I was meeting some friends for a little get-together, I wasn't drinking but everyone else was, and there were probably 15 of us. That's a lot of paying customers. For some reason the bouncers didn't want to let me in because I was wearing a white tshirt. No explanation why, just very rude and demeaning. I borrowed a friends button-up and things went fine. He had to leave 90 mins later and so I gave him his shirt back. No exaggeration, within 20 seconds of removing the shirt, the dirt bag bouncers were all over me. They pushed me past at least 3 other men in white tshirts on the way to the door. Do not go here, they don't deserve to be in business. They treated me like crap, but even worse they treated the ladies like dirt too (after promising them a "drinks on the house" promo).
