Always incredibly friendly and helpful. Best pharmacy on the north shore.

Buyer beware! Ask for the prices of prescription drugs before purchasing anything here. I bought a second course of antibiotics here after the first one proved inadequate. Price paid for first lot at a nearby chemist in St Ives viklage was $15.95, here it was $25.95! Another medicine I bought at the same time was $18.95 vs $8.95 elsewhere. Huge markup for identical products. Very disappointed and won't be coming back.

I had lost my reading glasses, and urgently dropped into this pharmacy on Mona Vale Rd St Ives, not being able to focus and see up to 1 meter in front of me was very annoying, I walked to end of the store and noticed the elderly pharmacist writing a script, i politley asked where the prescription reading glasses were, I appreciate he was working on an script and in hindsight I should have waited, but I thought a simple question would do no harm.
How wrong I was. The man was extremly rude to me in a store full of customers, I have never ever been treated as such nor endured such blatant insulting words, all because I dared asked a question.
Well may I remind you that your are in a business of providing service to consumers at retail level and must show some restraint even to impationt customers such as me.
I went to Chemist Warehouse in Turramurra, almost every product is much cheaper, the staff very cheerful and very helpful, unlike the arrogant and insulting pharmacist on duty on Saturday night 18th July 2015

Service was so slow and they charge more than 50% more for a drug I can get at another Chemist in Crowsnest. If you want to get RIPPED OFF go there.

Possibly the best service in Sydney.. Highly knowledgeable staff and very friendly pharmacists. Prices might not be cheap but you certainly get first class service!

We were working within the pharmacy carrying out a strata plumbing repair in the ceiling and throughout the day we couldn't help but overhear how lovely the McDonald Pharmacy staff were to the customers. We were there all day and every customer was treated with compassion, care, understanding and professionalism. They go above and beyond consistently.
The team there are all wonderful people and it made my day.

My father and mother have been purchasing products from Mcdonalds Pharmacy for nearly 40 years. My dad wanted me to write this review for the following reasons...
The service has always been of the highest standard
Products that are not in stock are always ordered and available within 24 hours
The staff without exception have a good customer focus and are always very friendly
They are happy to deliver in an emergency
The range of products is always very high

This has been our family pharmacy for ages. The pharmacists are very friendly and very helpful - I recommend it.

I was stupid enough to pay $26.50 for antibiotics, where the same exact bottle would cost me in Hornsby $9.50. What a great way to reward clients who still believe in supporting local services - let's charge them 160%(!) more. Used to be a regular customer, would never go there again.

If you have a choice go elsewhere. I am stunned they can charge me $30 for a medicine that is $18 in other shops! I can't believe they would rip me off.
