Great city great airport and will most definitely be there
Plenty of flight options and multiple airlines. However, limited food options.
Very nice airport. I am accustomed to more housekeeping and customer service. For example, there were not noticeable helpers in the airport to find baggage and the car rental area. A sign is good, but sometimes you need a person.
Everyone was very friendly. Easy to understand directions to the gates. Plenty of places to shop or eat while waiting for a flight.
Always so sad to seen her go. Vegas that is lol. Clean and safety precautions are enforce.
The hotel luggage elevator the one you can put your bags on and take from one side to the other wasn t working. I had to carry a heavy duffel bag all around the airport so that was a very big inconvenience. Why they didn t work I have no idea. Most of the restaurants that stated were open online was not and I had to eat at a spot that wasn t even something I would ve preferred. Other than that I would ve given them 4 stars
Nice airport!! Lots of shops and places to grab a pre flight drink. Security seems iffy... Got me a quick full body massage for free though. Vegas baby!!
The walking escalator has been down for 2 years!! There's a sign that says renovations coming soon!
The airport needs a new look! It's old and outdated!
The airport is like Las Vegas itself! :)
Slot machines at once, so you don t forget where you flew.
A good transfer, but it s better to order and pay in advance - so you can save a lot!
Definitely not my most preferred landing spot compared to Atlanta. Had a strong animal smell once we departed the plane plus the Food wasn't all that but I enjoyed the alone time in Vegas with my Wifey
Still one of the busiest airports despite CoVid! The staff is knowledgeable and seem to know who tourists are. Can't wait to fly back to vegas
It was excellent . The staff was oh so nice and helpful. If anyone is flying anywhere FLY SPIRIT if you want to be treated like a King or Queen I dare you. Thank you Spirit for a great flight.
Security was great. Check in was easy. Handled the large crowds well.
Easy airport to navigate. Lots of signs to direct you to the right place and screens to read info about flights coming and going. I have never had a problem with the baggage claim and it usually is much faster than other airports. It's an airport version of the strip. If you still have some money, you can lose it at the airport.
Service was fast and efficient. I guess due to covid wait times are pretty much non existent, not as crowded as one might think and everyone seems to be adhering to safety guidelines due to covid.
Clean and easy to get around but sadly not enough charging ports
Its good. Just stay away from Spirit Airlines. Its the worst.
This is one of the most beautiful terminals I have seen, including the artwork and architecture. Large banks of windows greet you as you ride the escalator. There is a good selection of shops and food choices. My flight layover was actually enjoyable.
Very clean. Employees super helpful in finding your way around. TSA lines definitely need to be better staffed so we re not in line for 25 minutes but it is what it is. Interesting never saw slots in an airport lol. Good amount of souvenir shops & restaurants too. Pretty cool UBER & Lyft have their own pickup area on level V across the pedestrian bridge
Security was quick
SW bag lines were quick'r
Full bird...baby! One Seven 5
Smooth take off and landing!
Southwest front desk, baggage logistics, flight crew and TSA checkpoint security: Shout-outs and many thanks.
Alot of walking not enough food options opened....Way to crowded for covid pandemic
I heard this airport is getting renamed and Should have been called Las Vegas International Airport not named after a Nevada politician name Harry Reid. Las Vegas international Airport sounds better and the citizens of Las Vegas agree. It let's people who are coming to Vegas know they have touchdown when landing and hear the captain say the name of this great Airport.
If you're arriving @ McCarran Airport and plan to rent a car. Take the escalator down to Gate D to take the shuttle to the McCarran Rental Center. All the different car rental companies are there.
The shuttles are to the left, once you exit the terminal. It's about 10 min drive.
Overall experience with arrival and departure went smoothly. Great job!
Quick & efficient the staff gets you through as fast as they can.
Even though lots of announcements about wearing face coverings, many people at our gate did not wear them. Knowone said anything. In addition the handicap seating at our gate backed right up against other seats, without any separation. I was traveling with a person that was handicapped and he had to walk around to find seating that was acceptable social distancing, but ended up being far away from our gate. Also people sleeping on the floor between two rows of seats. Knowone said anything and they were there for an hour and a half, without face covering. I travel a lot and so many other airports are doing a great job. This far into the pandemic, they should be doing much better or at least trying.
Caught a flight out of Seattle landed early. Easy pick up at the baggage claim and out I went!
Very courteous!! Clean, safety, very helpful with me being disabled
McCarran airport was exciting, seeing as it was my first time in Las Vegas! The essence of gambling was in the air as soon as I got off the plane. Although I arrived on a late flight and I was exhausted, I was instantly energized by the flashy, colorful lights, large billboards, and statues along what the Las Vegans call the new downtown strip!
Needed to go to the Spirt Airlines counter to purchase a ticket. Super clean and super friendly. Way to go Spirt Airlines
Great airport. Spacious. Clear signage inside.
Outside;, signage for 'other' rental car return companies should be sooner. A arrow to stay right for other companies should be before Hertz and then again where it is. And on Las Vegas Blvd better signage for the smaller rental car companies (altho that is probably not the responsibility of the airport, it would make it easier for passengers to get inside the terminal in better time.
Nice Airport to fly into. We fly in and out of here a couple of December's ago during the Christmas Holiday Season. Crowds flowed, clean public restrooms, friendly employees. Used Uber & Lyft instead of car rental to get around. No problem at all.
Las Vegas airport is typically efficient and has great customer service. That's is saying a lot for an airport.
Nice... All covid 19... Regulations in place.. peeps all complying...
Easy to navigate. Clean. I wish airports would post a list of food options in different concourses.
Seems to me that it is bigger than my msp international airport, which makes it a little confusing.
Really nice airport American Airlines employees were very welcoming at 3am....way to go
The airport itself is fine but Tsa staff is not. The TSA web site says you can bring a little bit of water but the TSA staff said no and made me throw it out and was very rude and disrespectful about it. She also was rude to me and someone else cause we didn't put the stuff in the bins the correctly. I don't understand why she needs to act that way.
Great airport you can gamble and smoke inside airport.
I love McCarran easiest airport to get around in and out of.
It actually was easy to get through maybe because it was late at night. Either way it was smooth...
It wouldn't be so bad if the gates weren't so far away
A fun airport, finally! It sure makes layovers a lot better. The games they have are varied, and the staff and attendants are friendly and willing to assist you if necessary.
Clean. Well organized.friendly people. TSA a little scrambled. Over all enjoyable experience at airport
I love the place 4 big runways and lots of length for safe landings.
Never ever fly southwest.. again stuck at the airport
I was arriving in Vegas. It is confusing at times. Just hard for first timers. But it is Vegas and the slot machines provide an opportunity to get rich. This airport is always clean. It is just hard to get around if you don't know where you are going.
TSA check out was not as bad as I thought it would be. All employees were helpful and professional.
Interesting airport design. Most fights arrive and depart from a 'island' terminal. Fliers must take an underground from there to either Terminal 1 or Terminal 3 to get ground transport. Confusion about which terminal you are at is commonplace.
A very large airport but they have really good signage, I m shocked that they didn t have TSA precheck. It was frustrating having to unpack all of my stuff. I understand smaller airports nixing it during covid but McCarran is too big.
Great airport. Good restaurants. Easy to access the strip.
Lousy signs at C concourse when you're looking for B10! Gate agents say it's 3 minute walk....it's more like 20 minutes...need more auto-walk ways.
Nice Airport with lots of room for social distancing
Great customer service and easy to follow signs for all gates
Garlic Cheesy bread with pizza sauce was delicious. Bartender made an excellent Manhattan and the atmosphere was upbeat. Nice!
It's kind of hard to rate an airport when we depend on the premise that their policies and procedures on safety are always in the customers (us) best interest first. I've had no reason to doubt this? The 9 times that I have been to this airport what can I say.... I landed, got off plane, used the restroom, got a spendy snack which is quite the norm and expected, waited for my connection on to Portland Oregon, boarded my flight, landed in Portland 2 hrs. later safely and so I would just give them 5 Stars and be grateful they did their part in connecting me in all the ways I expected and paid for. Thank you!
Not the cleanest airport around. Long lines for anything with no social distancing.
Well organized and fairly nice.
I'd give a 5 if it hadn't been for the way the employed at the gate spoke to me.
Went quickly through the security. Not too crowded today.
Offborading and baggage claim super fast today. Standing in line for the car rental shuttle added another 30 minutes.
This airport handles a significant traffic flow for its size. The overall appearance looked cluttered as we stepped off the plane, with none other than slot machines, which were ubiquitous throughout the Vegas region.
Shuttles availed themselves to take us to our hotel. I did not see any free shuttle services provided by the hotels.
We ate at the airport before our return flight. That proved to be a plus. Security checks seemed very efficient here. It's an overall good airport.
Horrible layout. Terminal signs do not determine which airlines are in which terminals, very confusing.
It was great being at the airport. .y favorite place to be. I enjoy seeing all the wonderful people.
I was there in July of this year 2020)I found everyone to be nice and customer service was excellent
The airport is nice! Spacious and clean looking.
The TSA people - not so much. I was traveling with my infant son in a carrier, and I had our carry on luggage AND baby s car seat. The sign before entering security says no carts - so I ask a TSA worker if I could get acceptation, or help- or guidance... he said, no carts and walked away from me!
A woman entering behind me offered to help. Luckily her gate was close to mine.
There was no reason to be a jerk.
Although Mccarran is a relatively old airport, it s been updated nicely. Large screens tell off coming events and the new terrazzo flirting gives a bit of sparkle. The people that work in the terminal are always so polite and helpful, although the signs point you to where you need to go. I always see the employees wiping handrails and elevator buttons to help with sanitization. Many of the shops and restaurants were closed when I went through the terminal but before the current pandemic, it bustled with people. I will be returning to Mccarran very soon!
Worst signage for gates/terminals ever. Good luck getting between A and B
One of the better airports I've been to as the security checkpoints are much faster with minimal delay. Wish all airports could be like this.
Mccaran international airport is the biggest airport in Las Vegas, this airport has many terminals and it s a good destination,if you want to fly out of Las Vegas.
I have good experiences in this airport, I was almost late for my flight and the staff really helped to check me in as soon as possible and I ended up being three minutes on time for my flight.
If it was any other airport, I don t think I would ve made it and I m so glad
Not a bad airport...terminal 1 is always a madhouse terminal 3 is always calm and quiet ...if you are not checking bags go through terminal 3
The baggage weight is 10 less than most airports. No chargers while u wait.. the plane had No wifi, no room. And a small as table not big enough for more that cell phone.. staff good, pilot awesome.
TSA Precheck closed. I PAY for this service. Very VERY uncool.
A lot of vegan options! Sammy s restaurant has the vegan impossible burger. Jamba Juice also has a lot of vegan plant based drinks.
Easily airport to navigate through.
