Terrible staffing agency. They will lose your information, I'm talking social security numbers and bank information...suspiciously vanishing
These people are very reluctant to call back. Will complain about their volume of clients before offering a solution. I would not recommend you do business with them. Find another staffing agency.
PS: they take about $5/hr of whatever your pay rate should have been and pocket it

I wish I could give zero stars. This company and its employees are the most conniving, unprofessional and disrespectful people I ve encountered in my career. So many untruths told to your face just to get you in a seat. Despite having multiple conversations with Jeffrey he does not stay in contact while on assignment. Many times I ve felt unsafe on assignment and nothing was done. He will undermine, underpay and overall mistreat you. DO NOT WORK FOR THIS COMPANY. Stay far away. Jeffrey is great at putting his words together but do not be mistaken he is the opposite of what he says. I ve told Jeffrey I ve felt unsafe and he told me he would follow up NEVER Happened. Also stated he would call me after being let go but only responded to emails but called once he seen my review to save face. This company is a joke and so is he.

The negative reviews you read at MB Staffing are all true, my interactions with Jackie, Jabari and another gentleman whose name I can not recall were amazing.
On the other hand the rest of the my experience was completely horrible. I am a public health specialist with a MPH from JHU the top Public Health University in the nation. Jabari called me one day saying hey found my resume online and he was interested in my background for a position, I interviewed but I wasn t selected for the position but he said there were similar positions coming soon he would keep in touch which he did. One week he didn t call so I called to check in to see if there was anything available and he informed me he was no longer employed with MB Staffing and he referred me to his colleague Jeffery Hebert. As I said before all the reviews are true.
At first Jeffery was very helpful that changed almost immediately. Jeffery said he had and interview set up for me with a company that he spoke highly of. I cleared my schedule and the interview never happened. I called to get more information and he rushed me off the phone and said he was walking into a meeting, mind you it was still in the height of the pandemic in person meetings weren t happening so I ll take that as he was lying. The next week he calls me about being a concierge at 6pm on a Friday. I reminded him about my background yet he still persisted to try and convince me to take the assignment I say no and he gets a complete attitude and hangs up. That is one of the most unprofessional things I ve ever experienced professionally. Jeffery Hebert is definitely someone who pulls the bait and switch. After that I never heard from him or anyone from MB Staffing again.
If you are desperately looking for a job I ll recommend MB staffing, if you are a professional I d reconsider any position that you get called for.
I got a call from mb staffing 3weeks ago and went to the interview last week they asked for my id and ssc card as soon as i walked in the door. I was handed a 55 page application then set up to take a assessment test which all together took about 3hrs. After the assessment test i was told to wait to interview, i waited for about 20mins then was told that the interviwer was called into a meeting and would call me the next day to talk about the next steps in the hiring process, i still have not heard from yet.

There are so many other FANTASTIC staffing agencies in the area. If MB staffing still employs Jeffery H., a senior recruit, I would run the other way. He is the reason behind so much chaos in the office. On one occasion He told about the firing of one MBs employee's which was totally unprofessional and messy. They have decent contracts with companies but once that assignment is over, you'll be lucky to get anther call even if your performance at your previous assignment was PERFECT. I worked along side with other employees who worked with MB and they shared the same if not worst reviews. Jeff promised me a position after my position was "randomly" over w/o any heads up. I haven't heard from him since. He is known for that. You cannot have poor character when working in HR. He will be the downfall of the small company. There are so many other staffing agencies that actually care about your job search and stability! :)
Firstly I would like to say that everyone that I've come into contact with in this agency was very professional, down to the receptionist. I've worked through a few staffing agencies before and this has by far been the best in every aspect. I started off working with Jeffery, and he got me an interview very quickly and kept contact with me every step of the way. Then, I worked with Keanu and he was ALWAYS available to give me more information on open positions and provided positive affirmationswhen I felt that I may not qualify. These people are AMAZING and they live up to their motto of having staffing down to a science!
Very friendly, helpful and have a professional attitude and great customer service and there fast I had my interview on Thursday and Monday morning I was working. This place was top notch! I ve never seen more hospitality in an office setting than this company ever. They offered me water, asked to hang my coat, welcomed me in, and gave 100% professionalism the whole time. The office was modern, clean, well lit, and had beautiful glass windows letting in natural light and awesome views of the city. Everyone was nice and coming from the usual grunt and stiff corporate environment my visit to this office was a surprising breath of fresh air. I highly recommend this company and I look forward to working with them. Best staffing company hands down so far.

I recently had an interview at MB Staffing and everybody seems to be very professional. It seems that only one person can talk to you about a possible job opportunity. It seems that a receptionist answers the phone and when customers call, that same recruiter answers all the questions, even if they are in an interview with you. It seems that the rest of the employees are following orders under one dictator and he is very controlling. His name is Jeff.
I am wondering if MB Staffing have more than one recruiter. I am also wondering if Jeff is a team player. Did anyone interviewing at this agency have the same or similar experience?

I read the reviews and was acutely alarmed by some of the accusations and negative posts. I am happy to say that I was treated professionally, affably and fairly. the interview process was thorough and detailed. They were generous with their time and had great eye for detail when asking questions about my previous work experience. questioned that i had not been asked before ( I've been on over 10 interviews in the past 2 months). My husband started working on a contract with MB Staffing in Oct of 2018. From start to finish always professional and responsive . I had taken ill and Jeff personally called to make sure I was okay. This is my second go-round with MB Staffing. My initial impressions of the office team were that they present as very professional and seem to sincerely care about the independent contractors that make themselves available to the agency. While the process in registering with MB is indeed lengthy and requires some time, it is a thoroughly proper procedure which gives MB all of the background necessary to effectively match a candidate to an agency client. As an experienced senior-level Executive Assistant/Chief of Staff candidate, I felt that I needed to find a an agency would be able to place me easily, The first recruiter that handled my registration had me very excited about the possibility of several possible positions. While those didn't pan out for me, I am more hopeful this time that I will be a ideal fit for MB's client list.
I did take the time to read the other previously posted reviews and wanted to add mine own experience. I do want to give a special thanks to Juan Orozco, who handled the update of my registration. He was extremely courteous and professional during my processing. He took a real interest in the details of my resume and had a very fruitful conversation with me about my experience and special achievements. Juan reassured me that they would work diligently to place me with a client that would be able to compliment my skill sets with the possibility of permanent placement. I will revisit my review within the next 30 days to see if MB Staffing can find the right position for me.
I applied for a very specific accounting position that I saw on ZipRecruiter. I was invited in for an interview, but I was not properly prepared or informed about the rediculously lengthy three-hour process, which included over an hour's worth of paperwork and forms, and additional assessments. I explained to them that I was not there to join their temp database, and that I was there to interview for a specifc job. I was also not told over the phone that I was expected to bring in two forms of ID for the I-9 or a voided check for direct deposit. Why am I doing all this if I am not even guaranteed an interview with the hiring manager for the position I applied for? I should have listened to the negative reviews I read before wasting my time and metro fare.
