Even though I moved away from South Boston, I keep returning to South Boston Family Dental because of how great they are - professional, efficient, punctual, easy to deal with regarding insurance or accommodating appointment. Everyone is very helpful and friendly, and my teeth are well taken care of!
I just finished my Invisalign treatment here and whitening. I am super happy with the results and will keep coming back! Everyone on staff is friendly and accommodating.
I was having a dental emergency and they got me as quickly as they could and then did a wonderful job bonding and refilling my tooth.
Unacceptable service. I was told to look into Invisalign so I booked a consultation. Months later, they finally told me what % my insurance would cover. Then, they told me to book another appointment, which I did. I was told that I would be receiving my Invisalign at this appointment. However, when I arrived at my second appointment, to my great surprise they wanted me to repeat the original Invisalign consultation! Because the dentist who did my original consult was different than the one I saw for my second appointment, apparently I had to start over again - even though they already had my file on record. It would have been nice to have been told that when I set up the second appointment! What a waste of time and what a way to add unnecessary COVID risk to myself and other customers during this difficult time. Avoid this unorganized business at all cost.
Can't thank South Boston Family dental and Victoria for making what I thought was going to be an unenjoyable experience so great and painless. I had gotten a new job with new insurance so had to switch dentists, they were so great talking me through the X-rays and plans for next appointment. They were quick, professional, very safe followed all the precautions and super nice. Highly recommend if you're in the southie/ dot area in need of a dentist and cleaning.
I absolutely love South Boston Family Dental! Molly was my hygienist and she was so friendly and kind. My appointment started on time and the cleaning was very efficient. Both dentists I have seen there are exceptional. I trust them greatly! I have recommended SBFD to all of my friends in Southie. Thank you for your care!
Great experience from start to finish. My hygienist, Molly, was thorough and painless. I was in and out quickly, while still feeling like all my needs were met. She even took the time to learn about my hobbies outside of the apt, which I truly appreciated. Dr. Keck was incredible with explaining my treatment plan, and Alex at the front desk was so friendly!

I give south Boston Family Dental 5 Stars! I was seen by a woman named Christine, I cannot say how happy I am with the work she did for me. The place is nice and the people are professionals. I recommend anyone who is looking for a local dentist office to see on a regular bases to come here.

I've been really happy as a patient at South Boston Family Dental. They've always been friendly, accommodating, and not overly pushy with optional treatments.
Dr. Keck and everyone at the office were great! The receptionist was very helpful sorting through my insurance information and scheduling my next appointment quickly, and I didn't have to wait long once I arrived - less than 10 minutes. During the appointment, both Dr. Keck and her assistant, Serena, did a great job explaining to me what they were doing and were very receptive to any discomfort I expressed and adjusted accordingly. I have always had very sensitive teeth and been nervous during dental appointments, but they eased my fears.
Another thing I really appreciated was that Dr. Keck was aware and sensitive to the potential financial impact of some services beyond the cleaning itself. For instance, she had the receptionist check with my insurance to make sure the X-rays she wanted to do would be covered. For another treatment she recommended, she immediately noted that it wasn't usually covered by insurance and let me know how much it would be. Despite the recommendation, she did not pressure me to do it, and I'm thankful for that.
Dr. Keck ended up uncovering some significant issues and was extremely patient, kind, and informative in explaining to me what the next steps would be. She answered all of my questions. I cannot recommend her and this office enough, especially for someone like me who is normally very uncomfortable at the dentist!
