$3K Bosch refrigerator can't be repaired or replaced

My experience has been terrible!! I purchased a $3K+ Bosch refrigerator from Mike Monroe at Mays Monroe. The freezer fan freezes over every few weeks. This results in the refrigerator sounding like a lawn mower and I can't hear the TV in the next room. Mays Monroe has sent multiple repairmen to fix - nothing worked, they only refunded me for a repair and considered that acceptable. Mike Monroe wants me to get a new one from Bosch. Bosch collects lots of receipts, etc, but nothing to their satisfaction and has placed me in an infinite loop of avoidance. Mike Monroe made the offer to let me buy a new refrigerator at his cost but that was still more than $3K, in fairness a few hundred less than I paid 3 years ago.

I needed shipping bolts for my washing machine(purchased elsewhere) fast because the movers were already at my house. They got them in for me in less than 24 hours! All the other companies I talked to said it would be 2-3 days minimum

Friendly and knowledgeable service! I've struggled with lowes customer service for the past 2 days to eventually cancel my order. Upon entering the store, Ben greeted us and helped pick out a perfect washer and dryer. Highly recommend this place!

I had a great experience from both purchase to delivery. Ben was not pushy at all in showing my multiple options for a dishwasher, and when I told him that I needed to buy a new dryer, he suggested a couple of tips to fix the dryer before buying a new one. Bobby was on time for delivery and was pleasant, professional, and helpful.

This is what customer service should be at every store. Within 30 seconds of walking thru the door,someone assisted me and within an hour I d purchased the appliance I wanted and had a delivery date and time. Compare this to the previous day when I had to wait for 45 minutes to even get someone to ask me if I needed help.
The gentlemen who delivered and installed the appliance were 30 minutes early and called to tell me of their impending arrival. They were efficiently thorough and careful. They had everything working correctly in less then an hour. I am so thankful for having such a positive experience. Thank you Mays Monroe for caring.

I would NOT recommend purchasing a mattress from Mays-Munroe. We purchased a Stearns and Foster Cortazar King mattress ($1,499.99) and do not like it at all. It's firm but not supportive. We wake up everyday with lower back pain and the mattress is already sagging. We cannot return it because this is the second mattress we purchased. I would recommend shopping online or Costco. They let you return mattresses until you find one you like. The worst part is that after leaving 3 messages for Mike Munroe (Mattress Manager) he never bothered to return the call. We wanted to shop locally but it's hard with this kind of customer service.

I recently had to replace the refrigerator I bought from Mays-Munroe 22 years ago with a new one and I couldn't be more pleased with the service I received both in the showroom (thank you Meghan!) and in my home during installation. The two gentlemen worked quickly and efficiently and then took the time to explain the various features of the refrigerator and answered all my questions. Very professional!

I can't even give this company 1 star. As a single mother I went to the Mays-Monroe showroom to purchase a mattress for my child. I choose a 500.00 mattress that was comfortable for and soft. When I got home and unwrapped my mattress and set it up on the frame I noticed it not only looked different but it WAS NOT THE SAME I had paid for and chose! This family business should have been put out a long time ago. Bait and Switch is the name of the game I paid a hefty price for. I would not recommend any one spending their hard earned money there.

We had a great experience! Ben was knowledgeable and personable, and it was very helpful that he has experience in servicing the appliances he sells. The business is family-owned and run efficiently, and it just made me feel good to support a local business versus a big corporate chain. They service what they sell, so I'm happy to know who will be taking care of any problems I may have in the future. I'm looking forward to a long association with this excellent business.

Wow. I will never buy appliances anywhere else. This team, and specifically Ian, is truly the best. From selection to fitment and installation, I have never experienced such thorough, professional care.

What started as a cracked ceramic cooktop ended with an upgraded gas cooktop and my Christmas holiday will be saved!

When other big box stores are out of product and are FAR from knowledgeable, the Mays Munroe team delivered big. They made a highly stressful, challenging situation become a happy transaction complete with confidence and kindness.

I have dealt with Mays Monroe for over thirty years. They have always been helpful in fitting me to the best product for my budget. Service is excellent and timely, and I always felt they considered my needs more than their desire to make a buck. I highly recommend them.

Despite waiting over a week the big box store failed to deliver my washer as promised. Mark at Mays-Monroe helped me make a purchase over the phone, worked me into the delivery schedule, and in 3 days my new washer is up and running. Delivery men Thomas and Landon went above and beyond by removing a washer base I wanted to keep before hauling away my old machine. With customer service like this I wish Mays-Monroe sold more than appliances.

My Saleslady was absolutely the best!! Listened to my needs and guided me through the selections and pricing. I needed bedding as well and was surprised to see a very nice selection of moderate to upscale bedding. One stop shop for me!! Got everything that I needed and paid less than I expected.

Great locally owned and operated appliance and bedding store. They know their products line and do not pressure your purchase. When I was ready, my new dishwasher was installed 2 days later. So much better than the big box stores.

Just wanted to say when our old refrigerator went out last Saturday and we were about to lose the food we had in the freezer, Mark at Mays-Munroe had a new refrigerator delivered to us before Noon that day. And, most of the decision-making was done over the phone with his help. Don't think we would have gotten that kind of service anywhere else. It was much appreciated!

Mike Munroe has guided us through purchases of a refrigerator and a dishwasher. There is an amazing array of choices and of equipment reviews on line. I was impressed with Mike s knowledge of the different products. And because they service as well, I know who I need to call if I have a problem and they know what models they get the least/most calls on. I m committed to shopping local with Mays Munroe on any large appliance purchase!

So two purchases. First one was an oven from a guy salesman was a great experience. Few bumps in the road tho alll in all was a wonderful experience, like how sears was back im It's hey day.. 2nd experience was buying a refrigerator that a lady kind of pushed us into buying and it's the loudest fridge we ever owned. So its a a great garage fridge. All in all probably these guys or best buy thats left for tally folk.

I cannot thank the team from the parts department of Mays-Munroe for helping me out this week. Of all weeks, my dryer stops producing heat and the wonderful staff from the parts department help me troubleshoot the issue and helped get my dryer working in time for the Thanksgiving family rush! Most importantly, I didn't even purchase my dryer from them, yet they were willing to help me in a time of need. From here on out, I will purchase my appliances from them. So very grateful!!

Mixed experience. We have purchased appliances from Mays-Munroe for years, mostly with positive results. Our recent experience was somewhat less than satisfactory. I placed a service order to have our U-Line under-counter refrigerator repaired. A few hours prior to the scheduled repair, I received a call suggesting referral to another service provider, who, it turns out doesn't service U-Line. I called Mays-Munroe to request that I again be replaced on a list for service. I was once again asked if I had purchased the product from Mays-Munroe, which advertises that they they "service what they sell". I'm waiting to see if they show up, over a week after the initial appointment. Admittedly, hurricane Michael upset their service schedule, which I understand, but I have also felt left hanging, awaiting service for an appliance purchased from Mays-Munroe. Based on my current experience, I would rate a single star; based on my over-all experience over 40 years, I generously rate a three star.

Their service department is so piss poor I dont even know where to begin on my less than 2 year old dishwasher. I bought locally thinking their service department would be responsive. However, at this point it is me calling them constantly and me without a functioning dishwasher for the 2nd time. They dropped the ball 2x and have the nerve to ask for $ before anything is fixed. Will never use them again!

HORRIBLE SERVICE!! I just got off the phone with them. They were recommended as "the best in town" to come out and fix appliances. I have an older GE stove that the oven will not heat up so I called them upon several recommendations. After explaining the situation the guy told me that they are currently only servicing/helping customers that have purchased appliances from them and that they were too booked up right now to help any new customers. Well, you have lost a future customer that is for darn sure. I expected better treatment from a LOCALLY owned company. You have definitely lost any business that you would have gotten from me in the future.

If 0 stars were an option they would get 0 stars from me. Worst customer service ever. Didn't even ask if they can help or what we needed, all we got was we are closed, just order it online. They didn't even know what I needed or was looking for. I 'm okay with a company being closed they have every right to be closed. You can have some decency and at least ask how can I help you, or I'm sorry we are closed today.

My wife and I stopped into the showroom to pick up a stackable kit that we had on will call. My wife mentioned that we had recently purchased an LG microwave and the lady told us what a stupid decision that was ect. We walked away from the counter a split second to check the price of an oven to return and find the $19.00 price tag on the kit was removed and the new total was $39.95. We questioned her why she would double the price in an instant after we have already viewed the item with a price tag of $19.00. With a huge smirk she acted like she had no idea what we were talking about. So we left and ordered on Amazon for $13.00.... YES $13.00. Same manufacturer part number, same packing, same part. $13.00. Hard to shop local with this level of service and pricing. We went across the road to the Orange big box and we were able to directly cross the item we looked at and saved $400.00 with no problem.

My husband and I spent $4,000 in the Mays Munroe store in Tallahassee for our kitchen appliances my Samsung range is less than 6 months old I used the self-cleaning cycle one time and it completely shut down my oven they are not able to repair it they are trying to order the parts the best they can do is contact the Samsung representative and leave me without a stove. I feel they should be placed my range and they can deal with the representative themselves I should not have to deal with this representative if I wanted this kind of awful service I would have gone to Home Depot

She gave us the facts and then gave us plenty of space so we could discuss it between the two of us. He was very happy and I feel sure we found the right dishwasher for our needs.

The sales people seem to be good and knowledgeable but the customer service for the repair is not just like car dealership. My appliance was suddenly stoped working less than two years. The repair department man was so business like and show no apology for the inconvenience caused by his company s sold item.
