Overpriced and underwhelmed. I'm a beer snob and this is the only beer in 5 countries that I've ever sent back. The taste is just very bad to me and I've tried them all more than once. It's $5 a glass no matter when or what you order. That's twice the price at any bar in town especially during happy hours, and here you're getting it straight from the tap so you'd think it'd be twice as cheap instead of twice as expensive.
The food trucks are fantastic. The ambiance is great. Two Stars.

This tour was absolutely the best. The owner Ozzy does it himself and it's hysterical, and he definitely has a love for this kinda thing. Totally worth the money for the experience, vibe, and great beer!

I and my family recommend this place to others. Taste the best of the beers and the foot-tapping music all the time. Besides, Mary was our captain who was very knowledgeable. She suggested the beer which happened to be very crisp and tasty. Ask for Mary and Kudos to Mayday Brewery!!!

I love to come here for the beer, the food trucks that are always around and the gigantic deck. If at all possible, try to make it for a tour, it is unlike anything else you'll get from a brewery. I promise you won't regret it.

THIS is an experience that you don't want to miss!

Mayday Brewery tours, hosted by Ozzy Nelson, are an experience that you'll never forget. Fun. Educational. Fun. Enlightening. Fun. Tasty. Oh, and did I mention FUN?

Take the tour. Jam to the live music. Sample the Food Truck. This will soon be one of your favorite repeat experiences.

An exceptional place to get fantastic local craft beer. The food trucks are always top notch, and the setting is perfect. The single best place to wind down after a long work day in Murfreesboro. Unless you enjoy paying way too much to sit in a crowded basement full of hobbits. Mayday is the Boro's best kept secret. Ozzy and his crew will treat you right. Tell them Christopher Robin sent you!

Best brewery tour you will ever go on. Ozzy is a character that will entertain you with his unique personality. You get a glass at the start of the tour that gets refilled many times. You keep the glass when you are done. The beers are all very good. They make a wide variety of kinds. One of the most underrated attractions in Murfreesboro!

mayday is our go to date night spot! We love the game table and variety of beer! As many times as we've been I still get the flight so I can have them all in one trip!! Their staff is great so friendly and Ozzy the owner is the best, he's definitely a character and the "face" of the atmosphere for sure! The food truck on site is awesome and so convenient for a bite! The ambience is so eclectic, the exposed brick walls and funky art display makes it so cool. On weekends we go for the live music it's like a front row seat to some really neat local bands! Their events are also endless, they even have YOGA inside the Brewery the signup included a beer, what's better? Overall GREAT spot!! GO! I personally recommend Velvet Huslte!!

The atmosphere here is perfect for all ages! The owner gave us a tour himself. We love Ozzy! He told us all about his family photos on the wall, and was so much fun!
Everyone should stop by and check it out!

The brewery is located in a larger building that houses a lot of different other things. Entering a low doorway in the hall you walk past the brewery in operation on your way to the bar. At the bar there is a little bit of something for everyone and a keg of water and you can help yourself between the different beers.

"Take the tour!" - What I used to say about it, along with a glowing 5 star review you can read below. Sadly, I only just found out that they will no longer be offering tours, due to what they stated as being "overbooked as an event space and therefore being unable to do the tours", sadly closing the chapter on one of the best, and frankly ONLY, unique things here in Murfreesboro to go do. Do I recommend stopping by for a beer? Sure, the beer is good. But so are a thousand other breweries across the country, and many are better. As this place loses one part of what made it unique and memorable, it blends into the background just a bit more with all the other places that have "good beer", but otherwise lack a memorable thing to keep me bringing people back. Shame...

Original Edit: "Take the tour" as a review doesn't quite do this place justice - of course, their beers should (and do!) satisfy even the thirstiest and snobbiest of beer lovers, but beer alone does not a great place make>

Fortunately, the good folks at Mayday have put together a fantastic place to hang out, have some beers, listen to live music, and maybe grab a bite from the food truck. I'd definitely say it is the best place to hang out for awhile in town.

Of course, since I mentioned it in the initial review, it's worth mentioning the tour - for those of you who have been to a brewery tour before and are thinking "oh, I know how beer is made, I will pass on the tour", let me stop you right there. You go to the tour for the beer, but stay for the tour itself. Ozzy (the owner and founder) makes it such a unique and fun tour that you'll definitely agree it was worth going on. When I have friends from out of town visit on Saturdays, I definitely make sure that I take them to Mayday.

Today - HWeiss 5abv good no banana clove barely a weiz (typical US style, lame to a real Deutsche mitte hef) 16oz ; Pale Ale (same, below) ; Brown Ale 6.3abv good malt nose malt sweet finish 0 roast ("American" what's that mean?) 16oz ; IS-IPA 7.6abv very good a solid offering with everything there but not too much 16oz ; OvCo-IPA 6.2abv pretty good some fruit on the nose low bitter finish hazy (is this supposed to be a NE? It does neither well) taster ; (this WAS a real 4* brewery but the limp Hefe/ Brown/ Colab really require a down grade, 3.5* being generous)
> Feb2018 - Pale Ale 5.8abv very good decent floral good hop bitter finish 16oz ; JR-IPA 5.6abv pretty good low hop malt floral and finish 16oz ; Black-IPA 6.1abv very good low hop nose good roast/hop low bitter finish 16oz.
- outdoor seating, good parking, hard to see from the road in back of the building, homeless camp across the street, dog and kid friendly, foody truck appears to be daily, good WiFi, prices and serving sizes are clearly listed, 1 TV, (20 different tappings today, 9 are Semi-Belgo/adjunct things)

We had a small company social here. I had never been but I was impressed. Everything was clean and well organized as you would expect but there were hints of somewhat sarcastic humor in the decor. All in all it was a great place for a company social and definitely a place my husband and I would consider going to just for the fun of it.
