Maya and Co did a great job on my wedding dress alterations! They were also fairly priced. Maya is experienced and detailed. On the day of our wedding everyone was commenting on how well my dress fit. I definitely recommend using Maya and Co for wedding dress alterations if you re looking in the Pasadena area!

I had the best experience with Maya & Company! I brought in my wedding dress for alterations, and gave her a time frame.. each visit was a big progress. When it comes to communicating Maya is responsive and transparent in her craft. I definitely recommend Maya & Company!

Amazing quality and speed. So friendly and welcoming too.

Definitely the master of her craft, I had vintage piece that needed some alteration. Other places wouldn't even dare to touch and results were amazing, I couldn't even tell where stitches were original and where they were redone. Thumbs up!

Great place in pasadena, local shop very professional and personal service with care

We've been to many tailors but have never been to one that pays so much attention to detail like Maya & Co. We were very pleased with their work and the various suggestions they gave when we were not sure of what would look best. They truly gave us the "tailored" service we've been searching for...........We finally found the tailor of choice.

Maya and her team are people I wish I knew earlier. Maya is a class by herself. Her sence of style and attention to fine detail is emazing. If you want your apparel to fit you like a dream where you feel like a million dollars go to Maya. She and her team have hands of medical surgeon. My daughter had her prom coming up and she stressed that that she did not want anyone else to touch her dress but Maya. So she gave maya her dress. When Maya finished her dress it was so awesome that it made Essence Magazine's top 10 for prom dresses. Thank you again Maya!

I brought in 4 recently bought t-shirts to have the sleeves shortened and slightly taken in. I was wearing a shirt which had the sleeves shortened exactly as I liked it, and exactly as how I requested Maya to duplicate. She immediately asked me to remove my shirt so she could use that shirt as a guide. This was odd, because every other shirt where i have had the sleeves shortened and slightly taken in were each individually measured AND pinned. Maya insisted on using the shirt I had on as a guide for the shirts I was asking her to alternate. I explained to her, more than once, that EACH shirt had to be individually measured and pinned to alternate. She said she would do this.
When I picked up the 4 shirts all were done exactly the same even though all shirts were from different manufacturers and thus each fit me differently. Long story short, all 4 shirts were ruined and now unwearable. When I complained, Maya and her "assistant" chose to escape in their native tongue, deny the shirts were unacceptalbe and demand payment. I threw down some money, and left with my 4 ruined shirts. Thinking back,
I should have never left any payment. She ruined my shirts, and she still demanded payment.
I would NEVER recommend her tailoring to anyone I knew. In fact, 2 friends wanted her name to take care of their alterations. When I told them what went down, they went looking somewhere else. Over the years, I have had hundreds of items tailored...from suits to shorts to shirts with great results. Clearly, Maya is not as talented as she believes she is and she had zero customer service skills.
Beware!!!

I had a 2 inch hole in my jeans that I was trying to get stitched up. The lady told me 15 dollars over the phone but when I got there she told me it would cost over $50 dollars. They don't even have a real store and are working out of there garage. I took it to another place down the street and they charged me $5.
